I,m so sad that i can,t work with Amy,s products because the shippingcosts are higher then the order itself. Please show demos on flat surfaces as that is what most of us are dealing with. Doing them on carved moldings looks beautiful but are deceiving in reality as they look totally different on flat furniture surfaces.
How does this look on a "flat" piece? I have a shaker style cabinet that was made for me by my brother but the shaker style is just out. How could I give it depth and dimension? Would you recommend the cracked gesso over the stain? How will the wood stain come through? through the sea sponge dabbing?

Painting trim is easy what about a flat surface as most people paint.

Question?.. could you use the milk paint over gold gilding and pull off with antiquing glaze to show gilding underneath?
