I feel like life "hacks" nowadays are just the exact opposite of what they used to be when they first became a thing.
We went from "Tape 5 pens together to make repetitive writing faster!" and "Use a bowl to amplify a phone's speakers!" to "Oh, your sandal broke? Here, make one out of hot glue when you could have just glued the sandal back on!".
It's a trend that's long, long dead.

There are hacks out there that are good and useful, but they keep being overshadowed by channels like 5-Minute Crafts.

What I think is funny about people who go to such lengths to sneak alcohol in, is that there is a much easier solution. Instead of trying to create something to hide or conceal bottles in, just put it in a water bottle. It can even one where people cannot see what is inside. You're just making things harder for yourself.
Or you could, you know, go without alcohol for just a little bit. I promise it's not going to kill you.

Tbh, I only ever watch channels like this whenever I need something mindless to occupy my time. I sorta consider it as dumpster diving. Like, most of it is total garbage, but every once in a while, you find something that's actually good

not long ago i was hanging out with a friend and her four year old child . when the child got bored she asked her mom for the phone so she could watch youtube videos on it. when i peeked on what she is watching i saw 5 minute crafts. so if anyone wonders who tf would actually watch this shit, there ya go. 4 year olds who shouldn't have access to yt in the first place, but because that's how kids grow up these days it's what we get. ..this is why more and more of these ridiculous channels blow up like that

A really good example of channels blowing up is Logan paul or pwedipie

5 minute crafts videos kept showing up in my sidebar so I tried watching one. I reported it for "misleading thumbnail". Everyone should do that. I hate people who don't play by the rules apparently succeeding when there are so many good content providers who never consider cheating.....plus I hate that they lower the IQ level of all who watch them. We simply don't need more idiots in the world.

IAM PRETTY MUCH EVERYWHERE still she did film and edit everything herself. I am not particularly a fan of her or troomtroom or any of that crap, but still she Put in at least a little amount of work. Nerdecrafter just downloaded her video and put a lot of it in her video, much more than needed.
Also she send her subscribers to Sara’s channel, which is a total no go and now she is even blocking and deleting comments from her own videos. Just dishonest and no one I would like to follow and watch her videos, so that she can make money... but just my opinion and not even worth the time, it’s just a TH-camr.

You should check hers out, she’s awesome. I think she came to similar conclusions.
The only reason I can think of someone actually using the hot glue slipper is if they can't afford a new pair and the hot glue keeps breaking off the slipper
