Hi friends! I am very excited to review for you in this video the NEW Charlotte Tilbury Fragrance Collection of Emotions. I have been hard at work testing ALL 6 fragrances and I have some thoughts... and not only will I be sharing my review of the Charlotte Tilbury Perfumes, but I will also be reading some of the most popular non-incentivized reviews on Sephora so we can find out what the public thinks as well ;) I will be reviewing More Sex, Love Frequency, Joyphoria, Magic Energy, Calm Bliss, and Cosmic Power Eau de Parfums. Are these the best new fragrances at Sephora???

I love that the last one smells “like a witch” and “like a granny”. In fact, lots were equated with granny smells. What is going on with people’s grandmas’?? My grandma always smelled nice! She wouldn’t have touched these fragrances with a 10 foot knitting needle. (She was very crafty)
Outside special occasions, my grandmas mostly smelled like the delicious meals they cooked, and I honestly didn't mind that at all :)

I know what they mean, but I hate this descriptor! My grandma smelt of sandalwood and jasmine. Absolutely stunning and comforting. ❤

I haven’t tried any of these fragrances but I really don’t see myself buying any of these perfumes just because I think it’s so creepy with symbols and numbers and stuff. 🤭🤭🤭🤭

would never dream of purchasing these. bottles are so garish and juvenile and make me think the fragrances inside will match

My daughter and I went to Sephora just to smell these one afternoon and…. PU!!!!!! 🤢🤢🤢 They were all awful to both of our noses-and we like different things in fragrances. I very, very much enjoyed you reading off the non-incentivized reviews! 😂😂😂😂 “it feels and smells gross” YUP!

I had a sniff of them all at Manchester Airport UK, last week 🤢 bought Guerlain Mandarin Basilic Forte instead, lovely zesty orange scent for summer 😊

Ah! Such a great video thanks Sofia. I popped into Selfridges the other week here in the UK and tried them all - the lady gave me a card for each as well, sprayed with each fragrance.
Normally when I get home I can still detect the fragrance but this time there was no real definition on each card. I might try one or two on my wrist again in store but I don't think I'm going to splash out on the trial set. I love your review though! I thought she would design a sultry sexy scent called Pillow Talk or Charlotte, something she would wear herself.
Im currently in Madrid and popped into Sephora. I smelled all of these and they are all a hard pass. I did pick up CH 212 VIP Rosé NYC which smells wonderful!
Thanks Sofia for reviewing these fragrances. I’ll save my money and will buy some of fragrances by Fendi which they are releasing on June 20. I’m old enough to remember how luxurious and beautiful those were in 90’s when I was a teenager. 🙏🏻❤️🙌
I got a sample of calm bliss and joyphoria with my last order and I really love them. These seem to be fragrances that are smelling very natural to me and inoffensive. Still, they stay on my clothes for at least 24h. I purchased both in travel size, as i almost never finish a full size bottle of any perfume.

Hahaha, you read my review of Magic Power! It wasn't Charlotte, it was really me. I smelled it in store, I haven't purchased yet. I get major Celtic goddess vibes from that scent. like Magic Power, Joyphoria, & Calm Bliss. I'm glad she made the travel sizes, I won't be picking up the larger bottles. Thanks for the detailed review. I was curious about these. I also do not like the bottles, but thought if they were good, I might try them. I don’t like strong scents and they all sound awful and strong. I don’t even want to try them now. Lol 😂

These fragrances are giving me Harry Potter vibes
I'm a Grandma and even I don't want to smell like a Grandma! Current fragrance is "Love" from Coach -- a strawberry & floral scent that's neither too fruity nor too flowery.

I don’t like CT as a brand because I have totally different aesthetics and the quality I am looking for in makeup is definitely far away from what this brand offers. But when I look at Charlotte Tilbury as a person and her makeup and now her perfumes I can’t see a discrepancy. In my opinion all her products are a reflection of her image/style or better said lack of style.
I like the way you review perfumes and I hope we’ll see more reviews with niche and luxury perfumes. 🙂

I got a “gift” with an eyeshadow purchase and it was a more sex fragrance by charlotte tillbury and OMG the horror. I agree that it just smells like leather and smoke. You described it perfectly. As soon as I tried it and was repulsed, I ran to TH-cam to see what other people thought about it just to double check and make sure I wasn’t crazy because I sure had high hopes for these products. I will be throwing it away
Very smart, they are training us to let go of the idea of having just one signature scent. You need a scent for every emotion/occasion/time/mood, THAT’S what’s making it individualistic and personal now.
The bottle gives me “I dream of Jeannie” vibes, not my style at all!! But wow those reviews are brutal!!! 😅😂

Tell us how you really feel Sophia 😂! I agree with you, these are generic at best and I dislike the theme and design. Even if I loved one of the scents I wouldn't buy it because I dislike the bottles so much. I also really disliked her first fragrance Scent of a Dream (which did have a beautiful bottle), maybe her taste in fragrances just doesn't line up with mine - or yours!
I didn't care for that one either sadly!
This review was so great! Very well done and I loved that you read reviews at Sephora. Personally, I have come to not like the Charlotte Tilbury brand. It’s just slowly but surely lost me over the years. So while I have and love some of the makeup I won’t be buying anything else from the brand. All of this is to say I had no intention of buying the perfume but wanted to watch your review! :)

I think many of the hyperbolic negative descriptions are in direct reaction to the hyperbolic woo-woo marketing verbiage. I get together with a couple friends every other month for lunch. Just for fun, one of the ladies brought the sampler collection and we did a blind rating. None of these scents faired well. I had to laugh at all the reviews you read that likened these to old lady scents. My gal pals and I are old ladies and we disliked every one of them 😅 The scent collection itself was a big loser, but we certainly had fun blind testing them.

Really enjoyed this video and think you did a balanced review by reading out the non-incentivized reviews as well. Overall the marketing for this launch did not interest me as disliked the packaging and how the scents were marketed. But was interested to see your review in case any of the scents were hidden gems.

I can’t wear perfume anymore (stupid migraines) but this video was SO fun! I’m surprised these weren’t better, she hired some pretty famous noses to work on these.

Ha ! Maybe it’s just me in the universe then that loves and owns Magic Energy and cosmic power ! I’m into Arabian fragrances however so used to these woody kind of scents . I don’t pick up any granny vibrations from either of these . I did however hate More Sex . Yikes. I think the vibe from that was from fifty shades of grey !
Loved your review! I have to say the fragrances are exactly what I expected. Her brand has gotten increasingly tacky and over the top in the last few years as has Charlotte herself in my opinion. I think she is a little late with the bottle design and should have launched in collab with Harry Potter 10 years ago.

Can i ask about your Lilysilk cardigan: what is the sizing like, did you size up?
I have the sample set and I also don't like your bottom 2. I think they are overpowering but I don't know much about perfumes. I would love it if you could do a follow up Video of "better dupes" of them all. You mentioned a GA for Calm Bliss.
All I see are fragrances designed with only one thing in mind- going viral on Tiktok. Nothing at all about it tells me “I am for you, non-Tiktok using normie!”.
Haha yes unfortunately we see a lot of flashy products nowadays to try and get someone's attention in a short amount of time
Charlotte Tilbury excels at reinventing the wheel and upmarketing it to the heavens with over the top wording. Not a fan. Those perfumes are the equivalent of a Zara generic concoction and 150 for that is obscene.

Hi Sofia ! I am probably the only one but I liked the perfumes, I am considering Joyforia and Cosmic Energy in full size ! However you are right about the green one, it is so gross smelling, I had to take a shower 🤮
I purchased the sample scent package. Nope - none of these are for me. Cosmic Power was the absolute worse. I tossed the sample in the trash, and washed my wrists. Horrible. I did not like More Sex either (had high hopes for that one, too Smokey, too masculine)I would not buy a bottle or the travel spray. Love strong fragrances, btw. But unfortunately did not like any of these. I did not like her first fragrance she released either. The Joyphoria was the best of the bunch, but I smelled better florals, but it’s nice.

I got the magic energy, because I tried in Sephora and I feel in love, but when I use it the other day and left my home, I was pretty confident about the fragrance on me, sadly wasn’t for long, the staying power was weak, I love the fragrance but I don’t think I would buy again, is pricey for what it is.

Your final thoughts on these where my initial reaction. Am am perplexed and bamboozled by these. They are in a different galaxy from the rest of the brand. Charlotte is all about the glowy pinks and feminine vibes. How did these go so wrong? Especially thinking about the packaging of her make up, and how beautiful it is. Come to think of it, the lip plumper packaging was garish and gimmicky too. Not sure what’s going on in Charlotte Tilbury land, but they need to get snap out of this phase.
Thank you for review. Except for Charlotte Tilbury's face powder and lipsticks, I am not a fan of her products . I prefer more subtle fragrances, feminine fragrances like Diptyque or Jo Malone. I really appreciate your honesty and can trust your opinion. This feels like a cash grab. Not for me. Her eyeshadows are also terrible - no pigment and get hard pan after a few swipes. I am also not a fan of pillow talk - do not like warm tone pinks. Her pencils are terrible too and they're not waterproof. I'll stick to Chanel, YSL and Dior.

It is quite interesting, I am a big fraghead and perfume is my big hobby. I am really not into Charlotte's aesthetic in general and am not interested in them. However, people from the community rate them quite well, they are made by very esteemed most talented perfumers and they seem not to follow the copy paste formulas like the other designer brands do.
I made sure not to watch any other reviews before I tested these just to make sure I wasn't swayed. But now I will have to check out what some of the perfume reviewers are saying.
Grandpa vibes is worse than granny vibes DX omg. The only one i kinda like is the pink one because i love pink and roses (i did not smell it, it's not available in my country) but yeah idk I'm not buying any of these.. there's so many other nicer perfumes thats been around for decades and actually smells nice/and some are way cheaper too.
I knew these perfumes were going to be bad because she had a perfume years ago and it was terrible. My mom and I got a sample at Nordstrom and we put it on and we regretted it immediately, it was so gross. The lady that worked at the counter told us they rarely sold a bottle and when they did, it was returned every single time. So I did not trust Charlotte to make good perfumes!

Has anyone seen Boondock Saints? When I see "symbology" I think of the policemen being mocked for saying symbology instead of symbolism. Also the fictional character Robert Langdon was a professor of the fictional field of symbology. 😅

I got given a couple of free samples with a purchase. I cannot STAND joyphoria. Calm Bliss is ok for me, it reminds me of something 90s/00s but not sure what.

I actually love witchy witchcraft vibes. But this are a bit meh. And I say this as a person who likes both seductive complex guerlain vanillas and also clean , pure fresh types like jo malone or dyptique
I agree with you. I don't mind sort of like a celestial mythical type of theme but I felt like with all the symbols and colors it's kind of too much at once.
I hate the packaging, I hate the marketing and I wouldn’t touch any of them with a 10 foot pole 😂

I got 2 testers (magic energy and calm bliss) of these perfumes and they are terrible... smell cheap and generally not good 😂 i think i will throw them away... too much for givenchy / guerlain perfumes fan :D

I received Love Frequency from Influenster. I think it stinks. It smells like a musty grandma. 😂 As for the packaging, I don’t think it fits the vibe of the brand. It’s weird.

I can't bear ay of them. Fragrance by numbers, I suppose that's what happens when you release multiple fragrances at once. CT used to be flamboyant and theatrical, but recently, the over-fragrant language just out-kitsches itself and screams CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP - which her prices are not. The opposite of luxury. I like coloured glass bottles though.
Look this just sounds all gimmicky: numerology, symbology… it’s like we’ve gone to a place for a card reading, crystals and pendants all over.. the only thing missing is the witch and her black cat. Was this the vibe she was going for? Hmmmm 🧙♀️
They are horrible I bought the samples and I'm not buying any of them. After 5 minutes I can't even smell them.

Some noses get overwhelmed and paradoxically anosmic to certain heavy hitting aromachemicals. Of which these perfumes contain a fair amount.

I got samples of all 6 with purchases. You were too nice. 😂. These are offensive. Asthma inducing. Horrid. I was so surprised and disappointed. I thought maybe I was being harsh. After seeing your video and hearing the reviews I feel validated. Samples are going in the trash.🤢

The ageism here is over the charts, breaking news, not every perfume has to smell like VS’s
I think she has missed the mark completely with this launch. I don’t really don’t like any of these fragrances, the only one I don’t hate is more sex but even that one isn’t something I like. I find some of the notes very over powering and even clashing, they have not got the complexity’s they should for the price and market she has pitched herself against either. To top it off I think of Charlotte Tilbury as a sexy feminine brand and think the packaging does not fit that aesthetic. Over all I think this launch will probably be a complete fail and will not bring in many sales. Over all sad as this could have been a brilliant move for her but if anything it has cheeped the brand.

I went to Space NK on the day these were launched.. the staff were tasting them and i was the only customer in store so they invited me in their testing session.. ALL OF THESE.. EACH AND EVER ONE OF THEM.. ARE RUBBISH!! 🥴🤢 bottles are rubbish looking.. 2 of them smell like a candle and 2 smell like Tom Ford rip off’s.. no.. just no! 😂😂
