Hey Jen! I'm really stoked to hear that you wanna visit India. Every state is different; the culture, the food, the language, almost everything including the terrain.
If you could, you should visit Jaipur, Ladakh, Chennai, and definitely one of the north-east regions. (The 7 sisters) What westerners aren't really aware of is, that there're a bunch of Asian-looking (more like, Chinese/Thai) people too...And we're not foreigners but Indians.
PS- Do make sure you bring a dozen of your best sunscreen lotions in case you come during summer.

I just read Kafka On The Shore, and I am so glad you recommended it to everyone including me. It's one of those book where you start and during the book, you get so deeply attached and mesmerized with the characters, that in the end of the book, you're just left there, not knowing what else to do or say. When I read this book, it's like I was a part of it. This book really is metaphysical, it's really trippy. I have to read it again, so many beautiful concepts. Thank you for recommending it Jen!

Totally agree. I went to a Beck concert way back in 2002 and the Flaming Lips were the supporting act. I think that's when Yoshimi had also just come out so they played a lot of songs from that album. They were so entertaining, even better than Beck I gotta say. You need to see them live!!!

Amen about the community college thing! I'm 25 now, but I figured out what I want to study (finally) when I was 24 and, let me tell you, you forget A LOT after a seven year break in schooling. I'm at the college 'cause I have upgrading/catching up to do (and it's way cheaper) and I'm planning on transferring. I've felt like quitting so many times because of how similar the atmosphere and attitudes are to high school (which was awful for me). Don't give up, guys! I can't wait to transfer.
