hi, can i just replace the stock motor with a torque tuned motor?
You can do that if you want 👍
What esc are you using and did you change pinion or still using standard 22
It’s a hobbywing quick run brushed esc and stock gearing
Any tips how to seal gear cover? I had to clean it 3 times roday, not sure if only I have this problem...
Sorry I haven’t had this problem before. But maybe adding a little bit of grease around the edges will keep the dirt out
Are you running 2s or 3s?
In the video i was running 7.2v Nimh. It can run 2s as well and is much faster.
How much its faster then with stock motor?
I believe it was around 5mph faster
why do you put no brushless combo?????
I’ve tried brushless and it’s crazy fast (hit 40+ mph) but it also broke the gearbox so I went back to brushed since less power reduces risk of damaging the car.
Like it stock other than motor?
Yeah, I like it better because the stock tamiya motor was I bit slow in my opinion.
I have also tried running a 3s brushless system which made it incredibly fast (until the gearbox broke) 😂

The stock chassis itself is very nice. I haven’t changed any parts yet.
