Daily spend 1 and half hour for your prep daily.
Daily newspaper for 30 to 40 min.
Consistency and discipline are imp.
Start with polity.
Polity, History,current affairs,environ,geography,environment.
Study your colledge portions properly.that is became your optional.
While giving time for your preparation during clg time is powerful.
Daily one lesson in book.

Sir its my dream to crack upsc cse in my first attempt from my childhood , for this purpose only I have opted for arts group in my intermediate course eventhough I have secured 98.5% in my 10th standard.And in my intermediate I have secured state 4th rank. I have parallely completed 60% of my upsc preparation ,now I am in hesitation whether to opt for degree with ias or normal degree with self preparation and mocks.I hope you will help me to opt for better choice

Now I am feeling very proud of myself.
Sir I am a first year student and I am following the exact routine for the past 3 months.
In was actually a commerce student but I have taken political science honours in college so that I could cover the optional as well as the mains .
I have taken this decision myself with out any advice and now seeing a IAS giving the same advice makes me more confident that I am going in the right path.
My target is 2025 hope i will make some progress btw thank you sir 🙂

I am just 17 yrs old and I'll be joining one of the top engineering schools in the country but i don't feel complete at all. I feel like i am just not interested in doing it, i prepared for jee just to make money quickly. Humanities has always been my thing and i will surely work hard in college cuz enough is enough. I can't keep faking it. I hate engineering from the very bottom of my heart. VIDEOS LIKE THESE ARE A GREAT MOTIVATING FACTOR because I just decided that'll go for it right from the day 1 i felt like i am overdoing or overthinking but no that's not the case if an officer like you had a made a video on it then I'm not alone in this journey. Actually I am in 12th this year..new batch.... it's the same with Me...I am not at all interested in engineering and all that I am literally very confused...I always liked sst subject from the very starting but took PCM just in case I would need a backup... I'm working on it. Definitely not interested in maths but doing well in it as a responsibility but I don't feel like doing it by heart.

Good evening sir, I'm a student in 2nd year and my 3rd year is about to begin 2 months later this year and I'm quite oftenly asked by my parents to study coding at priority as well as we'll have placements next year and it is required for my backup option as well. So, I'm in dilemma how to study these 3 different things: civil service subjects, coding & engineering (EC ) stuff simultaneously and ultimately, REVISE them. How should I manage them at the same time and how should I revise them so that I can reap max benefits?! Please guide me sir as I've accepted you as my mentor in this civil services journey. 🙏🙏🙏

@@dreamer6428 you'll have to find time accordingly, you won't get it. But trust me, you'll have to make it. since you are in the initial phase (1st year) first of all you should be confident if you want to be an UPSC aspirant, take some time at college and explore other options as well, and if you are satisfied with the UPSC decision then go for it and frame your time as it suits you. Make it flexible, as rigid will break, flexible will last. All the best
