You amaze me woman! I wish I had your motivation and energy. I live in Massachusetts, zone 6a I believe. I've been watching your videos for a couple years now. Although I usually watch on Fire stick and can't comment or give you a thumbs up. But I just want you to know you've taught me so much and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.❤

If you have time to prep before the growing season comes, you can dig the hole and put in kitchen scraps and leaves. Cover the hole back with your garden soil or top soil. Place a heavy cardboard on top and a heavy paver to keep wild life out. When the growing season comes uncover and add a little more dirt and plant your seed. This is cost efficient, if you have a lot of watermelon holes and time to prep. I let mine sit for a few weeks and then plant my seeds. I don't wait months for the area to completely breakdown. I fertilize with fish emulsion throughout the growing season.

Even the raised bed soil (K). Everything I purchase this year is horrible. I am not sure why but I have to sift it as best as I can before I can use any of it. I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue.
