I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. Why didn't you remove the chimney and why did you install the burner assembly backwards. This is my dream lantern. Also I prefer to use pure white vinegar to remove the rust and then rinse it in baking soda to neutralize the vinegar.
Hi! Given that the chimney cap was press fitted in place, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to correctly reinstall it again, so decided against it. And what do you mean by installing the burner backwards?

@BackyardRestorationsOfficial the wick adjuster should be on the right side of the fuel cap
Just checked out the modern Feurhands and you are right. It's a simple fix though, just flip the burner. Thanks for the tip!
