Chalk it up to park carnage, we all have had our rigs been involved in accidents😅, another reason why we bring spare rigs, we know it's gonna happen, all a part of it. Great rc care rig you got in your ride too👌 love the videos, keep up the great content!
From what i see in that crash. The truck never touches that side of the shock tower. Around the 5 minute mark is where i think it broke. It was no ones fault. Both of you are going in any direction you choose. It was going to happen. Why get mad? Looked to be a beautiful day out with an rc car.
_That "little" TLR Typhon does look small out there which is absolutely crazy to me!_ _All that is, is waterless car wash! (Your absolutely nutz for doing that in the back of your vehicle!😂)_
I subscribe to RC Guy Garage cleaning concepts.... :) Guy says that you only clean your RC if its raining and you forgot to bring it in the house! LOL!
I agree. All the cart wheeling and hard hits on the front end look like that’s where the damage occurred. Didn’t see any kind of violent carnage with the other truck running over the top like that.
That Kraton barely even rolled over the typhon 8:53 ... I find it hard to to believe that it damaged the shock. If you ask me you did it at 5:12 on your own 🤷♂️
Not to be a Karen but yes probably happened when the car did the cart wheel which if you watch closely that is the side it hit. When the kraton went over it that was the other side. Cart wheel was on passanger side.. kraton made contact on drivers side. Plus will have to say if a car is dusty like that... over saturating it with any fluid and then blowing it off will get it clean .could have just used a gal of water in a spray bottle and did the same. 😮
I’m a fan of the cow rc stuff. They sell the best brand of tire glue around also. A one stop shop for good products. And they hook you up with a free sample of product to try out. You do have to pay for quality stuff so I can’t even complain about the prices.
I can't comment on the cleaners, because I would never feel inclined to use them. I use much cheaper PTFE and Methylated Spirit. For gluing tyres, there isn't really anything better than aerospace grade Cyanoacrylate super thin. Or if you really don't care about getting tyres off the rims - EVER - Contact Adhesive. The thing is, it's tricky to apply to both surfaces and then mounting the tyre right first time. It's a 1 shot deal.
Seems like RC's are outlaws o look all around to run mine but no matter where I go there are too many people or there's signs saying no trespassing. The only place I go now is our local lake but I was running the RC's in a spot away from everyone & was going up & down a small embankment that was just dirt & I went back the other day & they but logs blocking it off so apparently someone didn't like what I was doing. It's sad ya can't even have fun with RC's.
@@never-stock-rc2968 the kid was at the other track first but that’s why it’s best to leave let them enjoy there rc as I have many days to run rc if I want to 💯
Its just an accident not intentional. You need to be cool on this hobby its happen this to me many times with my friends and its a couple of dollars to fixed.
Of course it was an accident. The crazy part is - Earl caused it and is in denial. The Kraton barely touched his rig and the damage sustained during the session was on the opposite side.
I have been watching you long enough, you would not spend hundreds of dollars on these R/C cleaning products...im sure Cow RC sent you a load of supplies so hell yeah use them up...but we both know its nothing a little Dawn dish soap cant do for a fraction of the cost...Cow may get the racers with those products but probably about it!!! Cool TLR
Yes they sent them to me with no purpose but to use them they didn’t want a video of the product either 🤔 but in talking to the owner and listening to what he said some of it made sense to why arms where breaking and using degreasers on plastic drys them out over time like dawn dish soap and simple green I figured let’s test it out see if the plastic arms will last longer 🤷🏻♂️time is money and if I don’t need to keep fixing the rc and they will last and my bearings will stop rusting might be worth it 🤔

@@andyb9994as someone who’s been in this hobby a LONG time both bashing and racing, cow products are legit. Much better alternative than dawn or simple green, no brittleness, easier to apply, and has silicone-like properties to protect against rust and other damage. Simple green and dawn don’t do that. Not to mention, you can get a can of their wipes that work amazingly for $23. There’s 110 wipes in a canister, that seems like a more than fair price to me….. to each their own though! GT85 PTFE spray works good for cleaning. For degreasing, I use a little methylated spirit. Great for wiping off nitro oily residue. Never seen the need to buy cleaning products for RC cars, when the most effective stuff is already in your garage. I never wet my cars to 'wash' them. I dry them, brush them, wipe them - then lubricate them. Keeping them clean helps ensure better performance and makes it easier to spot problems. Because of the size difference, it probably feels like the kid's fault but these things happen all the damn time at my local track! 99% of the time, there's no damage and when their is, folks usually accept it as the risk of driving where other cars are allowed. A mutual agreement on "who will drive where" probably would have helped. Still sucks though. Awesome TLR though. My Typhon 3s has been my go-to car for almost four years now. I'd love to build a TLR too.

You are right - this is 100% on Earl. The fact is - the Kraton didn't break Earl's car in any case. The fact that they collided is mute.
