    👍 Absolutely
As someone truly great once said " “If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.”

Great video I needed to hear this . I just also hope others can be honest with me as much as Iam trying to be with myself.

I’m so sad I missed the notification when it came out, but I’m excited to watch!! It’s so important to be honest with ourselves, and luckily I have friends with whom we can hold each other accountable and strive to do better where we can! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! :)

Where might you need to be a little more honest with yourself!? Is there anyone in your life who could help you see your 'blind spots'?
Also, I've got coaching spots opening up so if you want to work with me & learn more about coaching, here's the link: www.innerresearcher.com

It's Gabie I had a guy watch some of my videos and then he messaged me on Reddit and was brutally honest about my content, he told me I was all over the place and I didn’t have a niche, he went on and on but I wasn’t upset or hurt by it, I actually enjoyed hearing his point of view and went on to tell him thanks for the feedback, being brutally honest with yourself is healing, he ended all he had to say with that I had potential to be great if I just figure out where I’m going with my channel.

What do you do after you’ve learnt your patterns? Wouldn’t it be count as pretending if you stop yourself from doing those? I tend to do that and end up hating myself because of it.. it makes me feel fake. Please help.

Hey there! thank you for your comment and i totally understand where you're coming from. it's not pretending at all, as long as we're talking about the patterns that are not serving you. so if you for example you are a very curious person who loves reading, but you meet someone who doesn't read book, you 'pretend' to be like them and you say you don't like books either -- that's pretending. you are not being your true self. however, when we have patterns that don't serve us (for e.g. getting defensive, criticizing someone, a behavior like biting your nails) that is a pattern that doesn't add anything of value. so when you begin unlearning it, it feels very unfamiliar, but that's not pretending. that's simply breaking the not helpful habit of who you have been/what you have been doing, and re-teaching yourself and establishing new CONSCIOUS habits! hope this is helpful! let me know :)
