Love you both! Have a beautiful holiday with your families. Make lots of memories, stitch when you can and stay healthy. You have brought so much laughter and joy to my heart and for that I thank you so much!
Congratulations on Autumn Towne!! My friend and I saw you showing it to people at Galleria and we stopped and asked about the design. We both fell in love with it and decided to stitch it in 2024. Still gathering all our supplies, and so excited to start!
Thanks for keeping me company while I stitched on a Prairie Schooler Christmas tree that I am going to finish into an ornament. I want to stitch a large Prairie Schooler in 2024. I stitched the PS July a few years ago and enjoyed it so much. I’d really like to stitch another one. Your WIPS and finishes are beautiful. Linnie, the Santa you and your mom stitched is beautiful. It looked familiar to me from when I started stitching in the ‘80s. So much backstitching but that’s what made those pieces so beautiful when finished. When you were telling the silver haired lady story I knew I had heard it. I just couldn’t remember the ending. I think that story is cute just like all the older people stories are that I read. Being older myself I can appreciate them. Have a wonderful Christmas with your families and I’m looking forward to seeing your WIPS.
Thanks so much Barbara! I think I'll be doing a larger Prairie Schooler too next year and am looking forward to that! We will have many more WIPS to share next video! Merry Christmas!

I went to start my car to warm it up and locked myself out of the restaurant! 😮 Luckily, I had my cell phone in my hand as I had replayed the last half of the video to see what I missed. Merry Christmas to both of you and may your enjoy family and friends during this season. What a fun FT. Love the wips and plans. What a pretty and festive intro.
I love seeing all the amazing patterns and projects. Your silk talk had me rolling! When Linnie snorted, I can't even. A beautiful addition to my holiday TH-cam. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us every time.
You girls are so much fun to watch. I can hardly wait for your next floosstube. Lenny, I too am a P Buckley Moss fan. Either you love her art work or you don't. I have all of her cross stitch patterns. I have stitched The Country Church, The Skater, and I stitched and gave her ornaments to family for Christmas. She has signed several of my prints. She is a really nice person. When you showed The Skater it brought back many memories. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both.
I always loved her prints but couldn't afford them at the time. I didn't know there were cross stitch patterns for these until Linnie started showing hers. It would be interesting to know how many patterns were available?
There were 34 patterns starting with Apple Girl in 1983. At the time, I to could not afford the prints so I purchased the patterns. Believe it or no they started out at $5.00 a pattern and I paid $7.00 for the last one. I have all 34 patterns and will never get them all stitched but I enjoy looking at them. There were 9 Christmas ornaments and I also purchased all 9. I just love her art work.
@@kathysmith6205yes I loved all her prints and patterns. Mom had most of the patterns and I have no idea where they are but I also have the Apple Girl which I stitched for mom. I will show that the next time. I had the Quilting Stitch almost finished until I found that a mouse had crawled into the tub I was keeping it in. It ate a big hole right through the middle. I did find another pattern on eBay and someday I am going to do it again. Thank you for watching. Merry Christmas to you ❤
I stitched the Patchwork Santa (in your intro) years ago (in the 90s). It was the first piece I stitched as a model stitcher for a store in Fairborn, OH. Loved this piece (and all the Leisure Arts designs)…so colorful. All your finishes are beautiful.
Thanks for sharing everything - loved it all. Loved seeing your Hobby Lobby haul and especially the light case. I’ve been searching for a case for my daylight light-couldn’t find anything suitable - perfect case. Merry Christmas to you both- you’re so fun!
I am also a member of Tudor Rose and love the ornament you recieved. I didn't participate in the ornament exchange this year because I don't stitch on linen, but I will next year. My ornament will be on 20 or 22 count aida.
Oh Sherry I think an ornament on aida would be lovely to receive! I hope you do participate next year. There was an early deadline for this exchange - around November 7 I believe since the ornaments are mailed.
I always enjoy watching you, but I got tickled on this one when you were showing one of your pieces and said, stitching in the barn. A good name for a Flosstube. Well I am “Stitching at the Barn”, and yes I live in a barn!! Keep up the good work.
I used to love when the bookmobile would come to our neighborhood. The quilted Santa is from a Leisure Arts leaflet 'Christmas Patches'. The designs are by Sandi Gore Evans. The only reason I know is because I was just looking through a box of charts I purchased from an estate sale and the leaflet is in there. I love when I find things that finished cross stitch pieces will look good on. I collect much faster than I stitch. 😀 You both are always a joy to watch. Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much for the kind shout out ladies!!! I really appreciate it. I loved your ornament and project parade … of course another couple added to my list. BTW, you ALWAYS need to pet the silk. Just like pearls need to be worn to stay luminous, silk needs to be petted. 😊
I don't know as it really matters if baby is a boy or a girl as to how soon they crawl, or how. Two of our sons were super early, and the other four (2 boys, 2 girls) were pretty average-ish. Noticed the same with the grandkids. Each is their own person and development. So interesting and such fun times!! Thanks for the memories and for telling us about the Tudor Rose Sampler Group.
I hope you check out the Tudor Rose guild. I've really enjoyed their programs. Yes, one of my sons was walking before a year and the other, who is actually more athletic, didn't walk until he was a year old.
And I also started the patchwork Santa and I really need to finish. It's been sitting for to long. Maybe I'll pick it back up and put some stitches on it. See how many patches I can get done by Christmas.
Oh, my goodness! I’m glad you didn’t edit the video. I laughed so hard I almost had an accident. Silks! So many lovely patterns! Linnie, I love the frame you chose for your finished piece. Beautiful! Blessings on you both!
I don't know what it is about when Linnie shows her mom's stuff but I really get choked up - this time, no exception. Thanks for showing them. Merry Christmas!!!❤
I never had the experience of sharing a love of stitching with my mom, but we both enjoyed gardening and I know I couldn't stand to work in the yard for about a year after we lost her.
I am so glad to hear about the Book Mobil that Roberta volunteers to drive. What a blessing for those children! Before I retired I taught in a school where many of my students did not have any books at home. So that is a wonderful service! And I enjoyed seeing you two get cracked up over the silly remark. Merry Christmas to you and your families! 🎄
Thanks so much Deb! In my work role I oversaw our work serving kids at several low income schools and thought that was very rewarding work. Thank you for being on the front lines as a teacher!
Although I had passed on buying the pattern for Dancer before, after seeing Linnie's finished piece, now I think I need to stitch him. You ladies totally cracked me up with petting the silk! Your laughter was infectious. For 12 x12 I am going to do at least some WIPs. I have 5 projects that I started for the mini-maynia I did in May with Katie, the novel stitcher. I want to work on those some more. I may do one new start from a magazine since that was what KeaBee as suggesting for this year but I am not certain what else. I certainly have enough WIPs to do all twelve WIPs. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
That's such a gorgeous pattern! I overlooked it when it was offered in the Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher magazine. Would love to hear how your 12 x 12 goes on NYE!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you Julie. Sometimes we crack ourselves up and yes I have to admit there was a snort at the end. So embarrassing hahaha
I love it when you get the giggles!!! Merry Christmas- from Connie in Iowa
Merry Christmas Connie!
Thanks for the snort Linnie! 😂
Thank you. A little embarrassing but I couldn’t help it. Have a wonderful holiday season ❤❤❤❤
@@linnieisenburg520 no need to be embarrassed. It was cute and endearing. It happens with a good laugh. Who doesn't need one of those? Happiest of holidays to you and Roberta. 🌲♥️
Merry Christmas ladies! 🎄
Merry Christmas to both of you and may your enjoy family and friends during this season. What a fun FT. Love the wips and plans. What a pretty and festive intro.
Thanks so much Linda! Merry Christmas!
How fun! Merry Christmas 🎄!!!
Merry Christmas Glee!
I love seeing all the amazing patterns and projects. Your silk talk had me rolling! When Linnie snorted, I can't even. A beautiful addition to my holiday TH-cam. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us every time.
Thank you so much Emmy Rose! Merry Christmas!
Love you guys so much! Love your videos filled with love and laughter! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Merry Christmas Debbie!

Thanks so much Renae! Merry Christmas!
Thank you. We wish you a very Merry Christmas ❤
Merry Christmas to you ❤
Merry Christmas, happy all the things! I so love your flosstubes and seeing all that you are working on. Hope you both have a wonderful holiday!
Thanks so much Nancy! Hope you have a Merry Christmas as well!
Laughing SO hard! Merry Christmas, girls! Love ya! Xo
Merry Christmas Cathy!
I stitched the Patchwork Santa (in your intro) years ago (in the 90s). It was the first piece I stitched as a model stitcher for a store in Fairborn, OH. Loved this piece (and all the Leisure Arts designs)…so colorful. All your finishes are beautiful.
I also loved that stitch. It was probably one of my favorites. Thank you so much watching. ❤❤❤❤
That was a big model for your first! I'm sure it helped to sell a lot of those patterns.
Merry Christmas to you both and your families!
Happy holidays!
I love handmade by sarah w!! Almost as much as you 2.. 😂😊 i love all the finishes ❤❤
Ah thank you Tanya ❤❤❤❤
Yay! Thank you!
Merry Christmas ladies!
To you as well!
Merry Christmas to you all roo❤
You both have put a huge smile on my face after long day at work and seeing you both crease up laughing over taking the silk 😂
We are so happy you enjoyed our little silliness! It's good to have some downtime after a long work day!
Thanks for sharing everything - loved it all. Loved seeing your Hobby Lobby haul and especially the light case. I’ve been searching for a case for my daylight light-couldn’t find anything suitable - perfect case. Merry Christmas to you both- you’re so fun!
Thanks Gwen! I included a link for the case in the show notes. It's working well!
Merry Christmas girls!! 🎅🏻🎄
Merry Christmas Trish!
I always enjoy watching you, but I got tickled on this one when you were showing one of your pieces and said, stitching in the barn. A good name for a Flosstube. Well I am “Stitching at the Barn”, and yes I live in a barn!! Keep up the good work.
Thanks for letting us know Faith! I will check it out!
Thank you !!@@Roberta.SABLEStitchers
I am roaring laughing! Y’all are a hoot!
Merry Christmas 🎄
Thanks so much! Merry Christmas to you!
Beautiful wip’s and plenty to keep you busy on the first & beyond! Enjoyed the finishes & your stories.
That is so true! Hoping to get my WIP count down a bit next year.
What a find! I need to start checking out estate sales because it's rare to come across these vintage designs at thrift stores.
Merry Christmas ❤
Thank you so much for the kind shout out ladies!!! I really appreciate it. I loved your ornament and project parade … of course another couple added to my list. BTW, you ALWAYS need to pet the silk. Just like pearls need to be worn to stay luminous, silk needs to be petted. 😊
Good point Lori Merry Christmas!
@@Roberta.SABLEStitchers Merry Christmas!
Visiting the Bookmobile is a cherished childhood memory of mine as well. Thanks for bringing that experience to mind!
It was a highlight of my week, especially when I was a young reader. I can still remember the sections where I'd go to look for the books I wanted.
Merry Christmas ❤
Merry Christmas guys! Thanks for sharing!
Merry Christmas Diane! Will see you soon in Phoenix!
And I also started the patchwork Santa and I really need to finish. It's been sitting for to long. Maybe I'll pick it back up and put some stitches on it. See how many patches I can get done by Christmas.
It was a lot of color changes but oh so cute when finished. Merry Christmas ❤😊
You two dear hearts are just a joy to spend time with!! Thanks always for the enSABLEment with gadgets and gizmos!! Merry Christmas!
Oh, my goodness! I’m glad you didn’t edit the video. I laughed so hard I almost had an accident. Silks! So many lovely patterns! Linnie, I love the frame you chose for your finished piece. Beautiful! Blessings on you both!
We're glad you liked it! Thanks for spending time with us!
It is always fun to see all of your wips and finishes. Linny…70 ornaments is quite an accomplishment! I hope you both have an awesome Christmas.
Thank you! You too!
I laughed so hard with the silk comment! Laughter is so good for the soul! So many plans for projects! Merry Christmas Linnie and Roberta!
We're glad you enjoyed your time with us! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas ladies
Same to you!
Merry Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas Heidi!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Same to you!
Merry Christmas to you both❤️🎄
Same to you!
Valerie does a flosstube called "Stitching in the barn"!!! I love watching you gals and absolutely love your music! Thank you for all you bring to us.
Merry Christmas to you and your families
I got to meet Valerie at the Hobby House retreat in October and hope to see another Flosstube from her soon
Love you ladies! Linnie your Christmas jokes are so funny. Roberta it’s so wonderful that you drive a bookmobile. I remember having a bookmobile come to my neighborhood growing up. It was a green converted school bus. We enjoyed visiting each week.
Thank you both for sharing your time and thoughts.
The bookmobile is one of the happiest memories of my childhood!
I just so love watching you too, so much laughter. Merry Christmas to you all and God bless you both. 🎄🎄❤️❤️
Thank you and Merry Christmas to you Angelia!
Another fabulous episode, you two! It's always such a happy experience visiting with you. Your flosstubes are fun, informative, supportive, inclusive, and all the wonderful things. Thank you both for sharing your projects, haul, recommendations, ideas, and, of course humor. I wish you both a happy and blessed holiday season.
Must run now so I can put all my cornflakes back in the box! 😂
Thank you for the very gracious complement! Merry Christmas!
What an absolutely gorgeous intro - I will have to save this to see it again. Well done.
Thank you so much Nicole! I appreciate knowing people do watch this part.
