The Boone Companion - Greensleeves perform dances from Lansdowne, Sloane, & Pattricke mss.

'Greensleeves' perform six dances from the Lansdowne, Sloane, and Pattricke manuscripts at the Early Dance Circle Festival at Tring in 2022. These unpublished English manuscripts date from the early seventeenth century and contain descriptions, without music, for English country dances. The dances presented here are The Boone Companion, Ladie Dutchesse, Jack Pudding (different version from Playford), Murry, Early Spring Garden, and Lansdowne Square. All have been realised by Ann Kent and, as the manuscripts contain no music, appropriate contemporary tunes have been selected, arranged, and recorded, by Paul Kent.

Recorded at the Early Dance Circle's Annual Early Dance Festival 2022, in Tring, Hertfordshire. The videographers included Chris Gill, Charlie Holder and Aniko Racz, with Chris Gill as editor.
