The structure of this game means that all the bosses have to be the same bullet sponge monster man in a giant combat arena. The Batman boss was cool with the survival horror tone up until he turns into a giant demon and ruins it.
It would've been a nice tribute in a different game. On top of how they destroyed Arkham Batman and his whole universe, it doesn't make sense that Lois Lane would be eulogizing Batman when Metropolis's main hero and presumably her husband was murdered the same day.

Anyone else feel it's a little bit of a cop out to have us fight GL, Flash, Supes and Bats, but not Aquaman and WW? Especially since the Brainiac fight was a reskinned Flash fight...
The gameplay and the traversal look really fun, but the story and the application of certain heros and their powers is just awful. Feel like this game would have been more successful if they'd released it without the textures and skins, and without the dialogue. Just the base models zipping around a blank sandbox and shooting untextured enemies.

You have flash and green arrow in one Shazam and Green Latern in another one Aquaman and Wonder Woman in the 3rd Batman gets his own and so deos Superman followed by brainiac
The Batman boss fight had the potential to be something of a tactical horror encounter like bo other, and they turned it into the most uninspired "kill the giant" boss fight ever made. Also how do the actions they take in that fight translate outside the acid trip? I expected something like "they are actually fighting an animated cardboard box while the real Batman is taking them down one by one" and the excuse to why he's not killing them out right could have been his famous mind resilience or whatever.
Okay I'll give this mess of a game one thing; I do like this Brainiac. The design looks cool, his voice is great, his goal is more original than the usual shrink a city and destroy the rest plan, and I like his personality here.

I’m going to play Devil’s advocate for a bit. The concept behind this game is interesting. The music within it is actually pretty good. And the voice actors sound like they’re having a blast, even if the dialogue can become a bit repetitive. Overall, I see this as an…INCREDIBLY flawed game. However if it were to be one’s first exposure to the characters, I could see some potential for something great. But that’s just me.
I love how they added the Ark Asylum music to Batman‘s boss battle. They could’ve made his boss battle so much better though like I want to actually fight him like fight a scarecrow version of him the game, the Batman part I wish they could’ve did better on like Kevin Conroy was a good they should’ve did better

It’s a robot called FailSafe but that just recently came out in comics. They based his plans to beat the Justice League in this game off of the “Tower of Babel” story arc, and that robot didn’t exist yet when that story was made.

This is exacrly how i feel, the idea of the game is great, but the execution could have been so much better. This is our first time meeting the Arkham versions of the Justice League and as soon as one dies, they're immediatly forgotten about
Brainiac's fight should've involved more than just a Flash remake. It would've been a bit cooler if he mimicked the rest of the bosses too, in multiple phases, switching between Green Lantern, then Batman, and then Superman, then at the final phase, he gets his own unique moveset (if the devs can manage it).

You almost could switch between the bosses in the fights and not even tell the difference. You literally just shoot until they die. That's it. The game should have *punished* you for just shooting mindlessly, not *rewarded* you. I want to cower in fear in the batcave waiting for Batman to jump out and get me. I want to set careful traps for Flash. I want to use Yellow Lantern tech or Scarecrow toxin to sap at Green Lantern's will until he can't fight anymore in a psychological battle. I want to go on a quest to steal magic artifacts from a terrifying magic-based boss, and then use them to outmaneuver, de-power and weigh down Superman. I hate making these 'I'm a nerd' posts, but these boss fights have zero creativity and zero imagination. There's so many other games you could go to for 'shoot until they die' boss fights, that are designed better and are more gratifying.

Boss fights like these would've been more appreciated, in my opinion, if they were in DC Universe Online; because these "shoot them 'till they die!" boss fights would be appropriate for such a game. I was pretty hyped for the game until they made it live service. No hate to the genre but I would prefer this game was made for single player, action, adventure. IMO not a bad live service game if you're into one, it's a solid game, but for me who's been following batman arkham series Suicide Squad story is dump (don't matter if this game was made in alternate universe). Dunno why but this game feels like Genshin impact, like I can skip the whole exploration & fights & it all looks the same, no progression whatsoever except loot wise.

Reading the comments and half of them are griping about how the creators are the ones who made arkham knight and or how the theory about batman using the fear serum on the prisoners and becoming the demon batman, talk about folks who are ungrateful about a new game and then griping and complaining about how the game should've ran or how the story should've been different.if you guys wanted another superhero video game that suits your neediness and perfection than tell the creators to make a Darkseid vs the Justice league game.

Brainiac's fight should've involved more than just a Flash remake. It would've been a bit cooler if he mimicked the rest of the bosses too, in multiple phases, switching between Green Lantern, then Batman, and then Superman, then at the final phase, he gets his own unique moveset (if the devs can manage it).

You almost could switch between the bosses in the fights and not even tell the difference. You literally just shoot until they die. That's it. The game should have *punished* you for just shooting mindlessly, not *rewarded* you.
I want to cower in fear in the batcave waiting for Batman to jump out and get me.
I want to set careful traps for Flash.
I want to use Yellow Lantern tech or Scarecrow toxin to sap at Green Lantern's will until he can't fight anymore in a psychological battle.
I want to go on a quest to steal magic artifacts from a terrifying magic-based boss, and then use them to outmaneuver, de-power and weigh down Superman.
I hate making these 'I'm a nerd' posts, but these boss fights have zero creativity and zero imagination. There's so many other games you could go to for 'shoot until they die' boss fights, that are designed better and are more gratifying.

When my little brother told me that Batman died on a park bench, I decided to not buy this game and to just come to this video instead.
Boss fights like these would've been more appreciated, in my opinion, if they were in DC Universe Online; because these "shoot them 'till they die!" boss fights would be appropriate for such a game.
I don't understand this. Could a triple-A live service action/adventure game work WITHOUT the bullet spongey boss fights, or is the live-service model so restrictive that it just doesn't work.

I was pretty hyped for the game until they made it live service. No hate to the genre but I would prefer this game was made for single player, action, adventure. IMO not a bad live service game if you're into one, it's a solid game, but for me who's been following batman arkham series Suicide Squad story is dump (don't matter if this game was made in alternate universe). Dunno why but this game feels like Genshin impact, like I can skip the whole exploration & fights & it all looks the same, no progression whatsoever except loot wise.

What bothers me isnt the concept of the game. Nobody cared about the "deadpool kills marvel" story. What i find lame is that they all die in such boring ways that are not only very unbelievable, but unceremonious. They didnt need to be mortal kombat levels of gruesome, but this was just lazy to me. If youre gonna use a silly, batshit crazy concept like this, go all the way with it. Also dont ruin another canon in the process. Nobody would have cared if this didnt affect the arkham world, and if this wasnt kevins last time being batman (though nobody could have forseen that bit).
