Cool to hear some of that buzzsaw even on these more modern engines. Most times pilots don’t apply enough thrust on the Max, A320neo, A220, E2 and any new aircraft so it’s rare to hear that.
Noticed, at least from your seat in front of the engines, that the CFM LEAPs never really lose that high pitch whine once at cruising altitude. Other aircraft seem to just become wind noise at altitude. Anyway, cool flight vid!
I still prefer the older engines. Nothing beats a good buzzsaw on takeoff haha. The new generations engines do have their own unique qualities though, as you noted here. Thanks for watching my friend! As always, I appreciate it!
No, we haven't had any type of winter weather this year. The few times there's been precipitation in the area it was well above freezing so we just got rain.
Which 2 aircraft engines do you like with the most similar sounding? In terms of this, I like the PW4000 and the Trent XWB. They both sound very similar to each other when they accelerate on high speeds.
Happy New Year my friend. I do not use a wireless mic. I use the standard mic that comes installed inside every iPhone haha. I mean it when I say that I was been pursuing the simplest and easiest way to film the highest quality aviation videos. My setup is as simple as it gets. An iPhone Pro model and my hands haha.
Looks like MSFS2024 has taken to another level! With Nivida RTX 4090 MAX, The graphics, engine noise, the aircraft and the filming look super impressive that it looks like real life. 😂
Alaska is Awesome! 👍👍
I was able to name 4 of the 5 AMHS ferries seen just after leaving the runway. Very cool to see! 😎

It's definitely rare with new generation engines, but every once in awhile you get it!

So that’s what Ketchikan looks like. Only seen it covered in mist and cloud!!!
One of the few times you've been able to see it when I've been there haha.

Great fly! Did you get snowed yet for this year?

I'd say those are two that are pretty close. I prefer the Trent buzz over the P&W, but both are good.
Happy New Year 2025. We love your work. What kind of wireless microphone are you using? Thanks

Is the southwest airlines Boeing old 737-700s still safe to fly????
Yes, any aircraft in the US, maintained by US airlines are maintained to extremely high standards and are safe to fly on.
