- This is my reaction/review for 'Ghost Of Me' by Make Them Suffer! I covered 'Doomswitch' on the channel when it dropped and absolutely adore this band and their existing material. This song comes with the announcement that they have signed to the @SharpTone family which we love to see, shout out to SharpTone for getting this over to me.
Somehow this track is just as good, if not better, to me than Doomswitch which are some big shoes to fill. What do you think of the song?

This bridge is what i live for. The unexplainable magic that takes over your emotions in music. Metal that can bring a tear to your eye is S-Tier.

Wow...just WOW! Another contender for track of the year. That was beautiful and brutal at the same time, Sean and Alex have an amazing chemistry together...once again another add to my library.
Alex has become one of my favorite musician ever after hearing this song and she was always great!
Dude his clean vocals are phenomenal, oh hope he uses them more for later work, i mean literally some of my favorite cleans ive heard in a while

They really played with song structure on this with some cool ways to transition between parts and to just prevent you from knowing exactly where they’re going on a first listen. Yet the catchiness of the melodies makes it still very accessible. Love this release.

I just discovered this band for the first time 3 days ago, and they are already one of my top favorite bands! Just incredible. I found them after hearing Deadlands - House of Cards, because I wanted to find more bands with a female vocalist, and this band did not disappoint!🤘🏾🖤
Absolute goosebumps, this is one of the most diverse bands. Super bouncy lyrics, tunings. Both Alex and Sean having their individual lines to then blending together with the heavy screams, guitars, drums. Make Them Suffer honestly is one of the top bands. Cannot wait for the new album to drop. Much love from across the ditch (NZ)
Love this, ironically enough been delving in to their older stuff. “Uncharted” probably my favorite track of theirs.

Sooo good! Can't decide if I like it better than Doomswitch but it's definitely on par! That clean section nearer the end was lovely, had goosebumps. If these are part of an album or EP I have very high hopes.
P.S I am getting caught up with their discography, LPing an album a week!
The exact same emotions hit me after the line "abandon the ghost of me" ... incredible song!
The best part of all this is the chorus is so spectacular they were patient in showing it. Making it hit even harder. A true master class in song writing

Saw this song drop while I was work. Came home and glad I could come here to hear the song for the first time. That pre-chug at 2:14 🤤💀 This song went from The Acacia Strain to Bring Me the Horizon in the chorus. DAMN!
God this year is just a fucking BANGER for metal. Periphery, Currents, Invent Animate, Sleep Token, and now Make Them Suffer gracing us with this huge single. Great fusion of Worlds Aparts synth and melodies and How to Survive a Funerals brutal heavier and more mature sound. Alex is a killer edition

Ok, don't revoke my metal card 😬... Possibly reality didn't meet expectation, but I think it might take a few more listens. While I liked it, so far I preferred Doomswitch.
i think some people feel the same! while i looove this and know i prefer it to Doomswitch, i think the differences are what keep things interesting! no metal card revoking, always appreciate honest thoughts as long as they’re not rude 💙

This songs all over the place....The first half is better than the second half.. Doomswitch is better imo. But i havent been a fan of there last couple albums. Looking to see how the next album goes.
it seems like a split between people loving it and finding it a little too all over the place! i always find that interesting when i’m this stoked over a song and it brings me back down to reality a bit (in a good way). anyhow, i am keen to see what the album will be like! the keys and electronic work in both tracks are just so neat
The chorus and the cleans are a huge turn-off for me...feels like a completely different track when that hits and destroys the heaviness of the song.
interesting, it's contrast so I think it's meant to be a bridge and add some balance but not everyone is going to like it! For me Alex's singing, especially as it's used mixed back in with Sean's vocals, is one of my favorite parts of the song. Doomswitch is straight up heavy, I definitely would not want every track they put out to be.
@@RachelleReacts I know it is contrast but too big in my opinion. And that is what I dislike with a lot of bands nowadays; how can you be so darn heavy in a song and (way too) poppy in the same track?
