About the show: America's Got Talent of AGT is TV series aired by NBC. It is a talent show for all sort of talents and all ages. It Usually runs throughout the summer and ends in September. Starts with auditions from major cities in the US then trimmed down to semi finals, semi then the finals. There is also the very popular Golden Buzzer given by each judge given to contestants that put them straight to the live show.

You're absolutely correct. Having grown up during the 'Nam era of music, today's music is extremely juvenile. Some instances sound as if I accidentally stepped on my cat's tail. Her voice is smoky, with the capability to sing at different levels. Am I listening to the same young lady? Her uniqueness surpasses all.

The first time I heard Courtney coincidentally here on youtube, my mouth stayed open, and so it is this time. This girl is like a hurricane and I'm sure no one who's ever heard of Courtney Hadwin will forget her. I saw Tina Turner live in a concert in Hamburg 1986 and paid 100 DM at that time for it on the black market - for a Courtney concert today I would immediately put 100 € on the table ... without even thinking for a single moment.

This young lady is one of the most fantastic talents I have seen in a long time. In fact, I like her better than many so-called professionals! I can't wait to hear where she goes from here! Jimmy Page on guitar was the same kind of messy and he's a legend. To date I think her original version of Old Town Road (not a cover) really shows how seasoned she is. And Pretty Little thing on AGT... daring to do an original on AGT and she nailed it.

@Angela Lee Courtney has an outstanding stage presence. It reminds me so much of my other favorite singer with great stage presence, Tina Turner. Now I also love G.G. the great Dutch singer. I am sure both have been signed before the Final either directly by Simon or his many contacts in music.

When you hear a song from Courtney you know it's her right away. That is the Hallmark of a great singer. I was so inspired by her voice that I created and posted some remixes of a few of her songs on my channel. I remember hearing Courtney Hadwins dad say he was proud of her and that he knew she could do it. She did it ok... Especially happy for he because Courtney worked very hard to get where she's at. She sang all around and paid for her voice lessons. Transportation to her gigs. So nothing she did was given to her. So happy and proud of her as a singer, musician, girl, and teenager. Go get em Courtney and sing your precious heart out. You may not be Janis Joplin; but you sure sang and played the heck out of Piece Of my heart.... CONGRATS for all your hard work and getting a record contract with Simon Cowel.

Jeff Watson interesting how we all perceive things differently. I'm not a fan of say, Faith Hill, but she's very successful in the eyes of others. I'm a bit more into the creative and standing our, not blending in doing what everyone else does, like sheep. But apparently some do, which is good for variety.
Yep, when it's all said and done it's how the performance came across irrespective of how it matches convention and what we are used to. I find her performances fascinating where other singer's bore me. I'm burned out on Beyonce want to be s. Courtney has great potential, yet could just fade away depending on how well that potential develops. Think of Michael Jackson in 1972-3, it was 7+ years before Billie Jean, You Rock my World , Beat it, and Thriller. I hope I live long enough to see what happens.
