The day we were there one was broken. Floating out in the middle, and I’m opportunistic. Security ended up coming and kicking us out but there were 2 other boats in there with us!

That's a good area your fishing. Lots of blue back heron and gizzard shad. You should try the tailrace below the area your fishing. I caught an 8lb spot in the lake below. If you like to live bait fish. Just nose hook a large minnow on the dropshot rig. Then hang on.

That first fish is a spot right? I think your eyeball scale is broken man.
I caught a 4.3 last week and I could put my closed fist in its mouth. To me that’s a “BIG” fish if ya can fist it’s mouth. Those fish don’t look that big to me compared to your hands🤷🏼‍♂️ are they all spots? I think they are?🤷🏼‍♂️ anyone else seeing what I’m seeing

Nope first fish was a 5lb largemouth and then a 5.5lb spot, then a 4.5 largemouth and then a 4.25 spot. All weighed. Spots have WAY smaller mouths than largemouth. I’m also 6’4” and have massive hands. My fist didn’t fit in the mouth of an 11.5 from 2 years ago or a 9.5 from last year 🤷🏻‍♂️. I guess all my fish are small…
