Michael here: Totally loved the Sectaurs and thanks for going to bat for the line when you were at Mattel! MASK was my favorite line as a kid and would love to see a reboot of that!
13:10 You may not consider your self as a Classics Line Champion, but for us the Fans you are a true Hero for making the Best MOTU toy line Ever, Nostalgic infused Modern in an Artistic product.
I've always loved the idea M.A.S.K. & V.EN.O.M. were divisions of G.I. Joe & COBRA, with vehicles built from reverse engineering the Transformers' technologies. Sadly, never encountered any media for it (didn't know about the comics, until sometime later). Seen a summary of at least one story on the TFWiki, though.
Pretty much all the lines I enjoy have made comebacks. My disappointment comes from a lack of completion. I appreciate how deep MOTU classics went, unfortunately I could not get in on it from the start. With Transformers there are only about 10 characters left I would like updates for. It's just the waiting game to see if they ever get made.
I’d love to see a “Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors” updated line. Loved the interchangeable pieces and thought it was a pretty cool story. Bring it back and gear it (no pun intended) towards kids who are getting into STEM.
Of all the shorter-lived toylines of the 80s, M.A.S.K. does seem to be the one that could have a really successful second life. (Give us a Rhino HasLab and watch the internet explode!) But you make a good point as to why Hasbro doesn't: there's only so much consumer money to go around. Offering too much variety not only increases your overall costs without increasing your overall sales, but it leads to angry and disgruntled consumers.
I feel like Visionaries is a line that stands more of a chance of being brought back; it's notable that Hasbro currently lacks any fantasy lines in their roster of brands, plus there are also at least three noteworthy characters who did not originally have figures. Visionaries would add more variety to Hasbro's line-up, and similar to what happened with Go-Bots, I could see the Super Naturals being placed into Visionaries as well. Maybe also the Infaceables as well.
@@austinreed7343 Well, Hasbro does have a fantasy brand in "Wizards of the Coast", which they've mined for several adult collector action figures. And when the D&D movie comes out, there will presumably be a tie-in toyline at retail. I agree that Visionaries would be fun to see again, though.
Nice video. FYI, there was a 2nd Matt Trakker made by Hasbro using modern era GI Joe parts. It was part of an SDCC set that had one or more figures from each of that Hasbro universe comic run. This Matt Trakker was black, like he was shown in the comics.
I think Brad Turner/Condor was “suburban kid standard issue” (probably because he was the cheapest of the initial run of MASK toys). I had one too, but it always seemed like the bigger vehicles were only owned by the “richer kids”. The only other ones I had were “Coast Patrol” Matt Trakker (who came with a little blue raft and a different mask) and Calhoun Burns/Raven which was thoroughly awesome.
It'd be cool if they'd bring back the Rose Petal Place dolls - which were MY action figures! And this time, they could actually make them more articulate to kick butt and DO stuff! Like Lily cold be even more of a (literal) butt-kicking dancer while Sunny could be even more administrative with her throwing petal pens! And Violet could really brush aside evil..... All of them working in the name of Nature... of course! (Eat your heart out, Captain Planet.) I.... was/am... a very odd creature. :D
Great video! Thank you! There are so many things I'd love to see updated or reissued -- the Cobra Night Raven S3P, Dino Riders, Inhumanoids, more MOTU Classics, toys with hologram stickers, and even REALLY obscure stuff that had fun gimmicks, like Air Raiders -- but there's only so much money to spare, and everything's getting expensive nowadays.
Super 7, Boss Fight and a few others are the ones bringing out life to these old IP.s I'd love a modern Wheeled Warriors line but like Bravestarr. some lines didn't sell that well back in the day to resurrect but if enough dorks with deep pockets... Who knows?
I think this one is simple: It has to have that cultural cache. That significance in the culture at large from the original time period, and have people who currently with disposable incomes from that original era, e.g. Star Wars, GI Joe, MOTU. The real question is why did those properties have that amazing impact at the time.
my GI Joe Matt Tracker is one of my very favorite toys currently hanging on the walls. I keep him next to the Flint in the Cobra outfit with a swapable head :)
Was actually thinking about old toy lines from the 80s. Like MASK COPS and a few others. Think the best bet for some of the properties like this is with Funko. Especially since they have the Retro Toys Pop line.
Savage Dragon with a cup of coffee and stuff he would normally have, like cop stuff. Oh and his sunglasses, removable. 3 versions, w/and w/out jacket and battle dameged tank-top-shirt. Removable badge.
Wouldn't a crowd-funding model be the best way to measure if a vintage line is worth producing? Also, if a vintage line's milestone's anniversary is coming up, isn't that also an opportunity - from a marketing perspective, especially - to get to see if there's enough nostalgia for it?
Ill tell you what I recently got that I love AND its from an 80s Cartoon/Toyline! A Chinese (i believe) company (Ramen Toys) did their own, kind of Kickstarter for 3 figures called "80s Commander". They are based off of "The Centurions" cartoon/figures and they are great!! They did them in a 6in scale, so they look so good with all of my other figures! The articulation is great, and all accessories work as intended! Well, as of right now, they are sitting on top of a Iron Man Hall of Armor stand on my desk! I love these figures! The only issue people say they kind of have is their unmasked head looks a little "too cartoony". But I have no issue with this as I display them with helmets on. You should check them out! Great video as usual Scott!
I just checked them out, they're more than "based" on Centurions like eh? 🤣 they look amazing tho!! Want straight to order one but the site says none are available 😪
One property I would love to see get a line of figures... The 90s Goosebumps book covers. Scarecrow Walks at Midnight, Ghost Beach, Werewolf at Fever Swamp, Say Cheese and Die... all would make great figures, and tap into that sweet millennial nostalgia wallet.
I'd prefer they just reissue the original MASK figures and vehicles. As they are still great as they are, and I think a modernized reboot of that toyline probably won't turn out that great. Just like I think the live action Transformers movies should have stayed in the 80's so they could use the vehicles from the toys instead of modern versions.
9:00: The (first) one from Kenner! (They were both by Kenner actually in 1985-1988 and in 1996). Have a great Christmas Spector Creative aka Scott Neitlich! (Band Aid anyone?) AND LET’S HAVE THAT HASBRO UNIFIED FILM!
I enjoy this channel very much. I'm glad I found it. I have no idea how to do a collaboration between a G.I. Joe channel and a He-Man channel, but I would love to do it.
I think playmates should do TMNT "origins" where they give the old 80's sculpts new articulation cuts. TMNT is hot right now. Happy Hanukkah & Merry Christmas
I don't think I would turn down anything M.A.S.K that Super7 would decide to do.... action figure wise. 6", 7" or 3.75" retro, I'd be in... but 6"/7" scaled vehicles for M.A.S.K. from Super7??? One could buy a used car for the price a collection of those vehicles would be.
The old M.A.S.K. figures were only 2 inches tall actually. It made the line a lot more feasible to collect due to the less money they cost and less space they took up than if the figures had been larger. I'm personally not interested in any 6 inch figures, because I want the vehicles to come back. And Hasbro needs to finally make the Shark!
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors was one of my favorite toy lines and was one of the few toys where I had a good majority of them (there werent that many since the series and toys didnt last long). I still remember the funky smell of the green "brains" that drove the bad guy cars. Would love to see a modern take on the old toys.
It seems that there are a lot of dead and dormant brands that could use some refreshing. Unfortunately, many will eventually fade into obscurity like Dick Tracy and Popeye. New media is generally essential for a product to grow with a new generation. Great work as always, Scott.
Scott, another great video. I’d love to see the Lone Ranger and Zorro figures from Gabriel, Clash of the Titans starring Harry Hamlin. And, hello! This was the 50th anniversary of Lucasfilm and there was no Indiana Jones figures? How amazing would that be to get new 3.75” Indiana Jones figures on those classic card backs?
One toy line I really liked was Air Raiders. Don't see that one having enough pull to have a successful second coming, though. But man, I loved the sheer scale of Air Raider's battles. It was so easy to build up huge armies to battle each other. It wasn't like my other favorite toy lines, where I had to pretend that the forces were much larger than they actually were. As much as I loved Skeletor, it was basically him and three other dudes. And Darth Vader led a massive army of one stormtrooper, two snowtroopers, and an Imperial officer with a broken head. (My parents never wanted me to have more stormtroopers because "I already had one." The snowtroopers were a fluke.)
I would buy M.A.S.K. So bad. When I was a kid, the issue with the line is, there was none available at the store at all to buy! I ended up finding figures and vehicles at yard sales. It was a shame I could not find more.
For me, where to begin: Blackstarr (especially with the crossover potential with MOTU, also Dragon Mounts) Bravestar Centurions Galaxy Rangers Go-Bots (I know and have the Action Toys Machine Robo figs, but would like figures based on the Hanna -Barbera cartoon besides the 'unoffiicial' DX Bike Robo alternate faces) Inhumanoids Mantech (the interchangable action figures) Micronauts (that Acroyear illustration from the Hasbro cross-over page looked great) Sectaurs (in a 6-7" scale with bug pets as well as mounts, Zica is too small for my taste) Spiral Zone. Wheeled Warriors (w/ figures based on the cartoon) *I hope that NECA goes far with their Dungeons and Dragons line, I have PO's for Warduke and Grimsword. Also curious about that Max Steel revival.
I would love to see Bravestarr, Crystar, and Thundarr the Barbarian. I would have listed Dungeons & Dragons, but that actually seems to be happening. The downside is that most Adult Collector Lines are climbing toward, or are well past my price ceiling.
is the juice worth the squeeze, 😅..I like these one liners from Toy Guru...Tcats , Silver H, Gargoyles, these are figures I didnt (convincingly) think would come to life..Maybe Mask, Dino-riders ( 👋 at Mattel) and Visionaries would come to fruition some day..
OT, but Toy Galaxy's latest left me wondering: Is the He-Man/She-Ra Christmas Special in any way canon to MotU Classics? Like, maybe not 1:1 "just slip it in as-is", but like some version of it?
I was trying to collect the Power Lords line from The Four Horsemen. In my opinion the lack of unique sculpts really hurt that line. We'd only get 1 or 2 unique sculpts at a time then followed by a ton of repaints. I know the repaints were used to pay for the unique sculpts, but I think that approach hurt the line in the long run as it squashed fan excitement.
I'm surprised mythic legions hasn't done some sort of tribute to dungeons£dragons like they did with the he man tribute line. Hasbro would be a good choice to do a D&D line. Would also love to see uylsess31 figures I loved that series as a kid
If Hasbro ever takes the plunge to make D&D figures something tells me they'll either make book characters or just generic ones from the players guide.
I know there are licensing concerns and even office politics at play, but considering how toy companies constantly want new products to sell, it is a shame that Hasbro didn't see it as beneficial to spend maybe a year devoting some of its GI Joe time to MASK. Particularly since, if they got the agreements set up properly, they'd have more tool variety to play with for future GI Joe products. Though I admit what I'd really want to see would be a few functional to-scale Transformers, built off the groundwork for the MASK vehicles.
Hey Scott, given I'm pretty big into both card games and toys as hobbies, I'm really curious on your take why properties that start as Card Games don't seem to catch on as Toy Lines. Mattel did Yu-Gi-Oh! toys for a little while, went away during the second generation and never really returned outside of statues, collector figures and funko despite the property being one of the top 3 card games for 20 years now. Hasbro did Duel Masters toys for a short time, while Wizards of the Coast printed that. Magic isn't really a child's property, but Hasbro hasn't touched it for toys despite owning Wizards of the Coast. Funko licensed Magic and it went on clearance in all form factors. You have multiple kickstarter card games now going for the multimedia 'I want to be Pokemon' angle at the moment, except they're starting as a card game where Pokemon was a video game. I can't help but think given the history of card game properties trying to do the toys and failing, they're probably barking up the wrong tree.
I think that video game and card games that have toys can have limited appeal. Obviously Pokémon proves me wrong but see my video on video game toys for a complete review of the concept
Other way around. However, to say that Palitoys ripped off GI Joe would be inaccurate as well. Palitoys licensed the GI Joe molds to add to their existing 3.75" Action Force line, which at that time were using molds inspired by the 5 POA Star Wars figures. The company was eventually bought by Hasbro (Till All are One) and they fully transformed Action Force into GI Joe, the main difference being they maintained the name to Action Force, retconned the origin story for the European market, especially Baron Ironblood / Cobra Commander, then aligned the story moving forward with the US GI Joe, albeit a year behind.
Hey spector creative love your videos also do you think you can talk about the 2010 tron movie toy line and why it faild even tho i think the 2010 tron movie was good
One example that still bugs me is Mega Man. There’s some good high-end stuff from Japan like the Figuarts, plus a few kiddie 4-5 inch lines, yet still nothing mid-grade ala Marvel Legends. (Which is to say, the high-end stuff doesn’t have as good of a character selection as the theoretical ML-style line would) The closest we have is a single figure of the title character, as well as the Nel figures from Japan. Jakks’s line focused on Fully Charged, with the Classic series getting 8-bit toys and that one deluxe figure. The X series only had two high-end role play items. I really appreciate that ATLA did get a new line after the first line was such a disservice.
The Jazwares line was as close as we were gonna get. They weren't afraid to make figures of villains. The quality was iffy, especially the very first wave, but the low price point made collecting them all easy.
@@JuanJimenez-mf5jm Agreed but I think Funko was the second closest… but had a huge miss in that all but one of them were recolored Mega Man figures. Jazwares also didn’t do any female characters and had only one figure outside of Classic or X.
Do you think the success of the GI Joe Classified line would give Hasbro confidence to update more older IPs? Obviously as you said it would take a champion at the company to push for it. But in your experience, would the success of one line be an indicator that another similar line would be successful, or is it looked at as a case by case situation?
@@spectorcreative1872 other than the movie figure and Lady Jaye that is surprising. Did the initial scarcity lead to over production or was it not doing well in general?
Talking about a few people making multiple votes to try to push for a toyline to be remade, that's how the second Robin (Jason Todd) died. The paid phone call voting system used to determine whether the Robin at the time lives or dies couldn't distinguish/filter repeat calls from the same phone number. There ended up at least one person who made multiple votes for Jason Todd to kick the bucket, enough times that if his first vote counted and the rest was tossed, the second Robin would have stayed on. They probably would have shuffled him off (i.e. 'graduate' like Dick Grayson, or just outright quit being Robin so a new one would be introduced), mind you they could have used the beating/attempted murder via explosives to give the character a personality change to make him more, well, tolerable as a character. They could have brought him back quite easily, it's not as if comic book characters didn't return from death before, when they found out that the vote was tilted. At the time they decided to make it one of the few 'permanent deaths' and to make Batman edgier, but to be honest the character didn't have a champion to convince the Batman creative team/DC execs to bring him back (before the Reality Punch....).
Before I even watch this video I am going to give my own analysis and say that - other than rights issues that might gum things up - some toylines just don't have the popularity to be sustained as a collector line. Sure, MOTU and Transformers were huge in the '80s and that is going to carry over well into adult collector stuff. On the other hand, do most people really care if Sectaurs or Centurions is rebooted? Personally, I would love to see new lines of Crystar the Crystal Warrior and Super Naturals, Food Fighters, and Barnyard Commandos, but I doubt most other people do. A modern Robin Hood Prince of Thieves line would be cool too, but that's not going to happen. Despite wanting them myself, even if all of these lines were to happen in the form of an ultra-limited Haslab or Kickstarter style thing, the price tag would probably be too high for me to even join in.
Hello scott, can u do a Video on Vikor and if he is based on Conan. at the flea market I bought a figure thinking he was Conan and come to find out , its Vikor from the MOTu Classics line!
To be honest , I would prefer new IP's based on no movies , games or comics . This toylines should be highly articulated , durable , nice designed , not expensive (figures under $10 , vehicles arround $20 and big playsets under $60) and most important thing : not made just for collectors . I always wonder .... Where are toylines that are 100% designed and made in China ???
That GI Joe Matt Tracker Figure was nearly impossible to find. I managed to get one off ebay but never saw it in the store. A hasbro combined universe is a great idea, but I felt like IDWs attempt was awful. Then Again I wasn't a big fan of what IDW was doing with any of the comics in the first place. Ever After High was one of my favorite Doll Lines Mattel Did. I liked it more than Monster High Even. Aside from the cancellation of the line my biggest disappointment with EAH was when they butchered the storyline they'd started I always wondered why they changed the direction of it like they had.
Can we get a video on the appeal of import lines. Like sh figuarts, figma, mafex, and amazing yamaguchi. And how the domestic markets stack up against and them. Is there a shifting dynamic? I’ve noticed a growing strength in the relationships between import lines and overseas companies with domestic companies. It feels like there’s a growing level of connection between the two scenes
The hasbro shared universe would be a triumph. They could make their own app like disney+ and just produce content that'll help sell product. Hasbro should have their own store like lego and disney too. They have such wonderful properties yet they are so under utilized. I wonder if it's because of their relationship with disney?
Because I already have several Earth displays the Power Rangers ended up on a Marvel Earth 777 and the Joe team ended up as a branch of SHIELD on Earth 616.
Wanted; Captain Action in 6" scale! I would love to have him, his son and his now evil father. He had 4 'Coins of the Gods' that gave him various powers, and his son had the coin of Mercury, giving him Super Speed.
Do you know how it works if you want to get likeness rights of a dead actor, for say a toy figure, but when there isn't anyone in charge or managing that actor's estate? As generally I believe you have to work out an agreement with whoever is in charge of their estate, but not sure how you'd get approval for likeness rights if no one is managing that actor's estate and thus there isn't anyone to contact or work out a deal with? As I'm sure a lot of actors probably don't have anyone managing their estate when they pass unless they are a big name or have a lot of residual income coming in or something.
Mask was never that popular even at the time while Eagle Force got a relaunch of sorts which was Mego. Micronauts is what they invested in when they missed out on Star Wars not having person who could sign contract or so then Kenner ruined toy market going from 8 inch to less than 4 inch hehe. Who owns the Rights is a major factor as if its not popular enough its not worth paying license or other fees. Bravestarr was not that big or Blackstar or many of those shows only running a few seasons. Bionic Six or Power Lords if molds still exist or can be reused is another heh.
Kinda glad there is no Micronauts reboot yet. You need a younger fan base to make money, and that means multiple approvals for some trendy topics now. And here’s hoping that kids getting into STEM at a young age will want more than screens. 8 to 10 more years.
Why do you think it is that Hasbro is willing to put the money behind HasLAB (with admittedly debatable results) while Mattel seemed very on-the-fence about MattyCollector?
There was a rumor posted in these comments that Super7 has gotten the Classics lisence back and will reveal it next year. I asked the person for proof and they never responed.
Lines that need a revival MASK Visionaries Mega Force Star Wars POTF2 Expanded Universe (not as POTF2 but Expanded Universe vehicles/playsets in general) Inhumanoids? Centurions?
Back in the day, I thought Seinfeld was real edgy. Like when Kramer dropped a piece of candy inside a person's body who was on the operating table. Nowadays, rewatching Seinfeld, it comes off as real tame and kind of boring. Haha. I think Sunny in Philadelphia is way better, though that show peaked a long time ago and hasn't been that good the past few years. I think the peak was around the Nightman Cometh. I wanted to see their live show of that, but just couldn't make the several hour trip at the time.
@@spectorcreative1872 The Kenner catalog for the Megabugs also had the first Star Wars toys. Pricey. Speaking of Mattel; I'd kill or die for someone to take on Big Jim and the P.A.C.K. again.

Oh those would be awesome!
6 inch indiana Jones figures would be my holy grail (pun intended)
OMG I forgot about Sectaurs. Those were pretty cool.
No parents wanted to buy the same figure twice back then.
@@paulfrench7222 I seriously remember loosing that argument
I have all my Air Raiders Figures and Vehicles from my childhood in the late 1980s.
I would buy M.A.S.K. So bad. When I was a kid, the issue with the line is, there was none available at the store at all to buy! I ended up finding figures and vehicles at yard sales. It was a shame I could not find more.
For me, where to begin:
Blackstarr (especially with the crossover potential with MOTU, also Dragon Mounts)
Bravestar
Centurions
Galaxy Rangers
Go-Bots (I know and have the Action Toys Machine Robo figs, but would like figures based on the Hanna -Barbera cartoon besides the 'unoffiicial' DX Bike Robo alternate faces)
Inhumanoids
Mantech (the interchangable action figures)
Micronauts (that Acroyear illustration from the Hasbro cross-over page looked great)
Sectaurs (in a 6-7" scale with bug pets as well as mounts, Zica is too small for my taste)
Spiral Zone.
Wheeled Warriors (w/ figures based on the cartoon)
*I hope that NECA goes far with their Dungeons and Dragons line, I have PO's for Warduke and Grimsword. Also curious about that Max Steel revival.
Guys, Thundercats doesn't have enough of a dedicated adult fan base to pay the money needed to make a collector line profitable.
Sorry.
If it did it would sell better
Thank you for the video I appreciate it liked it very much love the channel
Where are the Micronauts? It’s been a decade and a bit since I heard about a proper reboot!
I heard Dino riders was coming back but nothing materialised, that was a little heartbreaking.
I would love to see Bravestarr, Crystar, and Thundarr the Barbarian. I would have listed Dungeons & Dragons, but that actually seems to be happening.
The downside is that most Adult Collector Lines are climbing toward, or are well past my price ceiling.
Oh you and me both!!!
When you're making death threats.....over toys...........You've taken shit too far. Period.
is the juice worth the squeeze, 😅..I like these one liners from Toy Guru...Tcats , Silver H, Gargoyles, these are figures I didnt (convincingly) think would come to life..Maybe Mask, Dino-riders ( 👋 at Mattel) and Visionaries would come to fruition some day..
OT, but Toy Galaxy's latest left me wondering: Is the He-Man/She-Ra Christmas Special in any way canon to MotU Classics? Like, maybe not 1:1 "just slip it in as-is", but like some version of it?
When I wrote thé orignal motuc storyline we did not have access to filmation but we did have access to 200x which was essentially the same story
I just want a 6" scale Dungeons & Dragons cartoon series line.
Life is short, bring on the toys
Yu-Gi-Oh also notably never did Dark Magician Girl as a figure.
@@austinreed7343 Mattel made a DMG figure. Came with a Magic Cylinder accessory.
@@SGD_ToysDownUnder
Oh. But was she articulated?
@@austinreed7343 a little bit. It was mostly an action feature toy like most of Mattel's ygo toys.
Action Force is still going, for some reason the yanks ripped it off and called it gijoe though.
What I want to know is, where's my remco robot defenders live-action movie?
The last place you look
Hey Scott. What's the line pictured around 2:29? I don't recognise it but it looks really cool. Thanks.
@@JuanJimenez-mf5jm
Agreed but I think Funko was the second closest… but had a huge miss in that all but one of them were recolored Mega Man figures.
Actually GI Joe classified is not doing well in sales at all
@@spectorcreative1872 other than the movie figure and Lady Jaye that is surprising.
At the time they decided to make it one of the few 'permanent deaths' and to make Batman edgier, but to be honest the character didn't have a champion to convince the Batman creative team/DC execs to bring him back (before the Reality Punch....).
...i remember that as a kid. I ended up buying the batman cover of him being too late
Food Fighters reference gets a thumbs up.
Nice
Done! th-cam.com/video/Gma7qicXvgk/w-d-xo.html
@@spectorcreative1872 thank you! watching now
Ooooooh throwing shade at Pixel Dan🤣🤣🤣
I love Sectuars. Wanted them in 6 inch..:(
Oh me too!
The only place I ever saw the 25th anniversary joes was at my local comic book stores.
Would love to see modern Outer World, Muscle, and Crystar.
So many of us would!
IIRC Crystar is still owned by Marvel, so he could end up as a Marvel Legends release.
Scott did you work on penny dreadful for entertainment earth?
Can we get a video on the appeal of import lines. Like sh figuarts, figma, mafex, and amazing yamaguchi. And how the domestic markets stack up against and them. Is there a shifting dynamic? I’ve noticed a growing strength in the relationships between import lines and overseas companies with domestic companies. It feels like there’s a growing level of connection between the two scenes
Check out the video I did on upgrading!
@@spectorcreative1872
Maybe a video on non-Japanese imports?
The hasbro shared universe would be a triumph. They could make their own app like disney+ and just produce content that'll help sell product. Hasbro should have their own store like lego and disney too. They have such wonderful properties yet they are so under utilized. I wonder if it's because of their relationship with disney?
If only
So long as they leave IDW's edgelord writing out of it.
@8:00 ITS GLY-OS GLYOS! everyone go check it out! There's tons of cool figs and toy that are related to Glyos systems
Noted!
I'm super down for a modern Major Matt Mason line.
I tried so hard!
I also had Condor 😎
We need a Food Fighters vid Scott!
I need to find a good angle. Any thoughts?
I think documenting the “rise and fall” of the line would be worth trying out! Maybe how the line even came to be and how/why it failed?
I've really been wanting Indiana Jones collector style figure in the l style of Black series just one figure
I thought he said GI Joe had no content from 85-95, I was about to hunt Scott down, but I re-watched it, you're safe buddy. =)
Phew
I would love a Bravestarr modern figure
Many would. But it may not be enough to support the investment. I know…
I always thought Trakeena from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy was similar looking to characters from the Sectauras universe. 7:10
Why do you think it is that Hasbro is willing to put the money behind HasLAB (with admittedly debatable results) while Mattel seemed very on-the-fence about MattyCollector?
as a toy collector, i collect only 3" tall and bellow figures, when you get 1k plus toys, takes too much room big scale sizes.
There was a rumor posted in these comments that Super7 has gotten the Classics lisence back and will reveal it next year. I asked the person for proof and they never responed.
That would be the best chance Classics has of continuing!
Waiting for Inhumanoids revival!

Wishing for MOTU Classics line to be Remade (reissue)
We all are!
M.A.S.K. could so easily be integrated between GI & TF. A merged future series if you will.

I'm no Spector but it seems to me that times are a changing and Mattel and other big toy makers are not. Or more so not enough.
Mighty Max seems prime for a comeback
Prime yes, likely, maybe not
Did William Stout ever say why he didn't want Mattel to make characters based on his work?
He wasn’t happy with the way he was treated
Inhumaniods pound hash tag make it trend
Lines that need a revival
MASK
Visionaries
Mega Force
Star Wars POTF2 Expanded Universe (not as POTF2 but Expanded Universe vehicles/playsets in general)
Inhumanoids?
Centurions?
I'm still holding out hope for a Ragman figure....
Keep holding!
I'm finally getting my Sleepwalker Legends figure, so tge skies tge limits lad. Keep the faith.
If Hasbro has the rights to Rom and Micronauts do you think they will ever show up in the Marvel Legends line? If no, why not?
No, only because it dilutes the marvel brand
@@spectorcreative1872 I really would have liked to have seen the Marvel comic versions of the Micronauts done like the Retro Ant-Man & Wasp figures.
What happened to the Hasbro shared universe? There was going to be a M.A.S.K. movie. I bet we would have gotten new M.A.S.K. toys through that. :(
It got sidetracked
Where would I find an elephant with one hand?

Shogun Warriors and Megabug Gladiators.
