    Thank you for sharing your film Making Process. Curious to know if you have tried Open Toonz and how your compare it to Synfig in terms of overall production?

      I have it installed but have yet to try it so I can't give an answer at the moment. But I would assume, since it has a track record of being used to create some of the most beautiful anime movies in the past before going open-source, then it must be a wonderful piece of software

      @@YOWKhemardi Thank you for your reply. There is a serious lack of tutorials for 2d rigging, especially turnarounds, for OpenToonz when compared to many of other open source software. I was curious to see if that's due to a lack of awareness or an actual issue with production flow and functionality.

      @@weffxaveair8992 I think people are aware, but people tend to gravitate to what's popular. If more professionals announced that they use it, then I think the attention would increase. The lack of tutorials could also be a factor, if people don't know how to use it then you just move on to another software that has tutorials that can tell them what to do.

    Sir i create a character for my animation and i don't want to disturb that file so i always copy all groups for character to another file but problem is whenever i do it bones are always disconnected so i has to connect them first to start animation. So how i fix it

    • @YOWKhemardi
      @YOWKhemardi  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You will have to go to file -import and import the character instead of copying. When you copy the rig will be disconnected

      @@YOWKhemardi copying the rig is more good then importing. 🤦 Importing rig is useless and copying rig disconnect everything. Is there is any solution

    It's simple. If you can not simply file/import a character that is rigged with bones into a new file without getting into trouble, then Synfig will not be production ready, unless you only animate with balls and triangles. That is also the reason why so few people design and rig characters for use in Synfig. The devs added a lot of new (useless) items in the past years, but that is stuff that mostly nobody uses instead of focusing on the import/export features of the bone system.

      You can import a character that is rigged. I chose not to do that because I prefer having everything easily accessible in one file. It makes more sense to me based on the current setup of Synfig to utilize the canvas in the same way as one would use the file/import feature

    why is there no color? mostly outlines.

    • @YOWKhemardi
      @YOWKhemardi  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the storyboard sketches, they don't require colour and for everything else; the film is in black and white so adding colour wouldn't make a difference
