  • This is the landing of an Easyjet flight at Malta International Airport at the start of a nine holiday. Malta is a beautiful and historical country/island in the Med and is well worth visiting. This is our 5th visit and we will return. The Maltese are one of the most friendly people you can ever meet abroad. They are extremely civilised. They not only speak perfect English...they also drive on the left!!.
Take a tour of the island or hire a car and investigate all the historical sites. The Mosta Dome is an absolute must!. The view over Valleta Harbour is one the most spectacular you will ever see. A trip around the harbour on one the many tourist boats will bring you a history lesson spanning 2,000 years. You will be amazed at the thickness and height of the defensive Bastions. See the bullet holes in the harbour buildings caused by the German Luftwaffe. Walk up the Presidents Palace steps and actually ring the doorbell....but don't argue with the guard.LOL

I travel around the world and only when I go home to Malta do ppl clap when the pilot lands the plane.
    1. Why is that? I have never understood it...
    2. Stop it bloody hell it is the pilots job to land safety..

It was a typo. I know it is called Luqa.

    • @heli-crewhgs5285

MrPPKWalther FYI, Luqa is the Maltese equivalent of Luke, as in the apostle of Jesus.

10 But what are thus those thousands of books which were burnt since Acts 19:19? There were two categories of them: on the one hand books called "apocryphal books" and on the other hand books called "Talmud", which are the books of the priests, rabbis and many other evangelical books of that time. Apocryphal books, they were books of prophetic nature, of divine inspiration or bearing names of prophets and that are actually not. I do say: actually not. And among the apocryphal books of the Old Testament, I have picked one; there are tens but I have picked only one: "the book of Baruch, the son of Nerijah". It is indeed Baruch, the companion of the prophet Jeremiah. He had written a wonderful book but that book had to be burnt in Acts 19:19 for, being the companion or the disciple of a prophet, that does not give you the right to write a book and however good that book may be, it had to be burnt on the altar of Acts 19:19!
11 For only a prophet messenger was authorised to write a book. That is why you see in the Bible, the book of prophet such, the book of prophet such, the book of prophet such! But you will never see the book of priest such, the book of high priest such, the book of superintendent such, the book of rabbi such … yet, the priesthood of the Judaism or the old Covenant, they are the ministries of Ephesians 4:11 in the new Covenant that is to say apostle, church prophet, evangelist and teacher. [Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"]. [Kc.45v32] [Kc.53v11-12] [Kc.59v47] [Kc.108v26] [Kc.122v19]
