That's what I've heard when I heard him. Yesterday I heard something which jarred my ear. I lived in Israel, btw. He had part of his speech like a native, and parts interspersed with foreign accents. Fascinating. I'm a Brit but I know that in the USA, citizens can say whatever they wish about the USA, good or bad without fear. I'm getting the distinct impression that they don't enjoy those same rights if they express their views about a certain foreign country. What's going on?
I went to school with a kid who identified as a Nazi, and would tell stories during lunch hour about how the holocaust was fabricate. I can't imagine him being able to get a teacher fired because he felt discriminated against as a Nazi. Although he did try similar things. He ended up getting his Phd in philosophy and I had many conversations with him where I tried to dig into why he said what he said. I think it was mostly satire and attention seeking and for whatever reason he hid his real self under this facade because he wanted to feel special and like they belonged. But really he was quite boring, so radical ideas filled that spot of being important. People like this are infantile and so small. Fascinating. I'm a Brit but I know that in the USA, citizens can say whatever they wish about the USA, good or bad without fear. I'm getting the distinct impression that they don't enjoy those same rights if they express their views about a certain foreign country. What's going on?
I went to school with a kid who identified as a Nazi, and would tell stories during lunch hour about how the holocaust was fabricate. I can't imagine him being able to get a teacher fired because he felt discriminated against as a Nazi. Although he did try similar things. He ended up getting his Phd in philosophy and I had many conversations with him where I tried to dig into why he said what he said. I think it was mostly satire and attention seeking and for whatever reason he hid his real self under this facade because he wanted to feel special and like they belonged. But really he was quite boring, so radical ideas filled that spot of being important. People like this are infantile and so small. They take these ideas as their own, but really it's like a house of cards that they use like a magic trick to hide their self. He was a master of words, but I don't know if he understood any of them.
