Personally, once I hit my lactate threshold I am shoved into recovery mode for 72 hours on average. That shows the high level of condition athletic participants are in.

These two women need each other. I am a huge fan of both these women and there is zero doubt in my mind that both will rep the USA in Paris. With what was no doubt a long and sometimes grueling recovery period from the bone spur surgery , Abby has some competitive rust to shake off I'm thinking. In her breakout 2022 season this woman ran sooooo many races but here's the thing, I think Abby needs to be more active in terms of competitions than most other women.
