You are most welcome... I'm amazed, you really accomplish a lot w/ 3 kiddos.. Do you have a vid on your homeschool rythm and or schedule ie: how you manage to fit in all of your subjects??@@thishomeschoolingnaturopath TY again.
Awh, thank you. That means a lot. It's still hard not to feel that mom guilt, as if I'm not doing enough, though 😅🤦🏼♀️ I've got a couple of planning videos. I don't know that I've gone in depth on how we plan the whole year out, though. th-cam.com/video/z8-LJaPsY-s/w-d-xo.htmlsi=nBRKPYF14ZRlpCQE th-cam.com/video/ZStkuqNi-4Q/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zo5PzjxDCNnRodCS
We love “all things spooky” too! We have done it the last 2 years and still haven’t got to it all😂 We are doing GR “First Christmas” this year which is going good! Our all time favorite holiday units we have done the last few years have been Campfire Curriculums “In the season of thanksgiving” and “Caroling Noel”…those two unit studies where simply amazing and my 10 year old still talks about them constantly 🦃🎄 Oh and today Gather Round released a free hymn study which looks amazing so we are going to squeeze that in too
How awesome! Isn't it so cool when a curriculum is that amazing, the kids continue talking about it months and months later?! I'd like to try the CC holiday units next year I think. Yes! I've just printed the GR Hymn study !!! 😅😅 we'll be squeezing it in somehow as well!
We don’t finish all of our unit studies either. We didn’t finish all things spooky and still have a couple lessons of the first Christmas with Gather round.
Hey, thanks gor the informative review! I just wanted to add that the copywork in Spelling U See is only supposed to be done for 10 min. Then you stop and don’t worry about the page not being finished (this is outlined in the teacher’s manual). Regarding Fix It! Grammar, it becomes very relevant when paired with IEW writing, as that course requires students to include certain parts of the grammar in their writing to improve the quality of their compositions.
I love watching your videos! We love goodandbeautiful as well! Very inspiring curriculum ❤ Have you tried Creative writing from TGTB? I heard it is good
Thank you so much. Your comments are so appreciated 😊 no we haven't tried that one. I'd be interested to give it a try, though. My oldest would probably enjoy it.
I loved watching this video so much great info! Thank you! Question… I’m currently using only AAR Level 1 I’m debating if to switch to TG&TB next or to continue onto AAR 2 however my question is 1. If I stay with AAR 2 should I use anything else for language arts (grammar) ? 2. If I do switch to TG&TB should the level be LA 1 or 2? Hope to hear from you soon 😊
If you're going to continue with AAR, I think I'd wait to complete all 4 levels before moving on to practice grammar and everything else, honestly. Just to really make sure their reading is perfect before introducing all those much harder to understand concepts. If you switch from AAR 1 to TGTB, I'd start on Level 1 personally. But definitely do the placement tests that TGTB have available on their website to see exactly where your little one needs to be. Every child is so different 🥰
@@thishomeschoolingnaturopath thank you sooo sooo much! I’ve been homeschooling for sometime but now is when we’re getting into other things we haven’t done so thank you so much for your guidance 🥰
Do you get each of your children a different level student book for the gather round unit studies?? Do you all do them at the same time but each child does their own level?? Love your videos!!
Thanks for your comment! Yes, we do our Gather Round units altogether, as a family and each of my children have their own level. My 6 and 8 yr old are in Early Reader level and my 10 yr old in Early Elementary level.
YAY!! 🤗💕 WE LUV all your updates & vids! Not too long at all. TY so much for sharing.
Thank you 🥰
