We need a freestyle event where guys race up through the trees and bowls where they have a time interval to get to a spot, taking whatever lines they want, using the terrain to gain points. Going fast through the trees would be just one component. Burandt, Curtis, Kesterke, a dozen or so competitors. Kind of a regular ride for these guys but organized, filmed, and scored. Winner takes home a sled like this.
Just awesome!! Fastest I've seen anyone go through trees. Looks like vid is in fast forward. Mans got skills. Like his little devil laugh. 900r boost hehe. Makes you wont one before u even get ur 2023 snow check. Chris just sold them out before even on market 🤑
Really cool video! A lot more riding than I was expecting. Honestly I thought it would be 90% talk. Thanks I loved it! Polaris should have produced the 9R with boost IMO...
Dude you are such an animal. It's August 21st., a 100 degrees and my dealer has gotten 2 snowchecks so far. I was jonesing for my 9R and came across this video. Thanks buddy 😉
Agree! The guy can flat out rip. Frequently when I screw up I think Chris never would’ve made this mistake. So, I also enjoy seeing him stuck every once in a while. #humanstill
My question is how much? Up here in Canada the 850 patriot boost is $23,500.00 CAD OTD. Now add Carl’s plus another $4082.00 CAD not including labor. $30,000.00 snowmobile?
You missed the fox float IQ3 shocks ($6k CAD), diamond S silencer ($900) , nextech carbon fiber skid $2k), zollinger brake rotor so probably rest is lightweight rotating parts too ($1k) and that is just what you can see.
That looks scary fast man. I got a 19 foot 850 and thought to myself how does it get better. I love this competition between doo and poo, keep it coming
Hey Chris, with skinz closing its doors are you considering purchasing the rights to keep making skinz products? Would love to be able to get a skinz hood in factory colors for my 9R next year!
I am curious if like in drag racing is there a point to where one can't get the power converted into forward motion. Or is it all manageable thru the clutch? If one slows engagement the power is then nullified 🤔 in varying snow conditions one would assume you could conceivably just blow the track right out and not move. My question is genuine curiosity, I am not trying to start keyboard wars. How far do you believe we can go until the point of diminishing returns? Great stuff as always Chris, we need guys with the ability and resources to find that point, you are the chosen one sir😁
This looks like it already has most of lightweight items on it already. Carbon skid, zollinger brake rotor so assume the rest of the rotating is done, helium hood, diamond S silencer etc...
Wow. Guess I should have waited a year on my 9r and could have gotten a turbo. If it’s available in 2024. That said, do you see this setup consumer available in near future? Tia
That's the beauty of boost, you get the same hp, as long as the turbo can spin fast enough, to compensate for lower air pressure. Above 11,000 I think is where they can't spin any faster.
@@matisvanasse7729: It's producing the same at sea level, as it is up to 10,000ish feet. You'll notice more at sea level before spool up, but 4lbs air, at sea level, and 4lbs at 10,000 will be the same. The turbo just has to spin harder/faster at elevation, to compensate for the thinner air. Then at a certain elevation, I think around 11,000 you lose a little, because it can't physically spin fast enough to compensate for thinner air. So 190hp at sea level, is 190hp at 10,000ft. You just might notice more lag, as it takes longer to compress less air, to 4lbs
I see why you would want handguards, going THROUGH the trees with that much speed. Barely squeezing the sled between them and hands eating the branches. Nice riding as always
Thats the difference between a wild bull and a mechanical bull !!!!! Sick ....bet you feel like you can untie your boots standing up after that pull!!!!!!
Craz ything is only about .01% of people who will purchase this sled will ever come close to getting anything like that vid!! Sled is sick but Burandt is KING!!
As a flatlander I often wonder how long these motors last - Chris and the crew ? On the flats the Yamaha turbos pull forever AND that's merciful compared
So... model year '24 or '25 Polaris Boost will be a 900 with a lightweight crank then... cat's out of the bag now, Carl's Cycle is code for Polaris R&D.

A lot of unknown riders from Quebec would turn some heads! Those guys can rip in the tightest and most technical terrain.

Im sure its coming, they have to save something for future releases.
@@joshkolden9103 yep as usual lol 😆
Polaris could release a 420lb 1000 that makes 240 hp and you’ll always have that guy that wants more.

I was talking crap about one of your last videos for the music. This one is so much better!! thanks for the content
Ski Doo's stock price just plummeted
This guy is unreal on a machine my God!!!
Nice. Full throttle through the trees 🌲 Not to often I see sleds getting up on the boost through the trees.
I wonder if Chris ever thinks to himself, "this is just to easy" ?
My god my mouth was wide open this entire video I swear it looked like parts of this video were on fast forward that thing is just rowdy
I just thought same exact thing.... few times I swore it was fast forward
It is lol
I asked and you answered. Nice. And you went all in with the skid and hood too.
sometimes i wonder if chris is human… the way he rides a sled is just absolutely mind blowing … chris is my GOAT
The best way to test is to "Ride it like it has warranty ". Haha
Can you show me how to race through the EWalk forest at mock 2!!
I need to know how much of this video was in lockout 😂😂😂
Some of those smaller trees are going to grow funky now. 😋
The same stuff I take my snow bike threw just not as steep. Awesome riding

Another “ Carls cycle” 😏suuuuure I’m smelling a little Polaris 2024 r&d here 😁 if I’m right you owe me a new boost Chris 🤣
That was definitely pretty real to say the least!!!
I feel like skis will soon be optional
You bad mamma jamma! Goosebumps!
Sounded like there was alot of boost lag in the bottom end from a standing start till you got it moving
The 900 alone sounds like it has lag.
I guess all it needs is the lightweight 9r crank 😉
Chris you are a freakin maniac on that animal. 😜
I can't believe my ears , an actual Pokémon powered snowmobile. 😁😁
I see the tree wanted a little ride but couldn't hang on, but I probably wouldn't be able either

Think you guys should take a trip to trout lake Washington and play sometime
Gol dang, that thing is a monster!!
What are you running for a arms on that?
This is insane,! If Polaris ever sells these it might be the first sled ever to come with a waiver😂
Gnarville is officially any line the Burandt takes, I be looking for pits while he goes into the unknown 🤘
Wow thats insane 900 boost!!!! It's unstoppable brotha
Oh yes a 900 boost turbo.I thinking about a hydrogen 9R turbo 2 stroke with silber turbo with intercooler
PURE INSANITY Gotta Love It 💪💪💪💪💪💪👍
Is this filmed on an older gopro? The stability is pretty bad
how does the track not disintegrate ?
This getting closer to the yammy 4 strokes with the weight of the 2smoke
It does make a difference.
Love the content Chris fkn beast going through those trees like nothing I can’t imagine what you would be using if you were still with arctic cat
So a boost is 24,000 and 4,000 for Carl's 900 kit so at 28-29k with no there mods as it has to start as a 850 boost to have factory turbo
That moves
Hahaha, you're nuts !! I like it !!
at what power do you think it will take that you can no longer hold on? lol

Crazy how fast through the trees !
What a terrain monster!
Looks like the whole video is in fast forward.
Proper way to break in a new sled👍
So for clarification is this a Polaris boost system or aftermarket on the carls 900 motor. Watergate sounds totally different than the Polaris.
Aftermarket. Carls 900 with aftermarket turbo.
Factory Boost with carls 900.
Wow. Guess I should have waited a year on my 9r and could have gotten a turbo. If it’s available in 2024. That said, do you see this setup consumer available in near future? Tia
That 900w/boost is nuts! Is the motor ported?
Why the constant up and down with the throttle ? And the weird noise when you let off the gas ?
Thats the turbo.
Have Polaris fixed the clutching problem ?
They still have not fixed the motor problem
@ 6:48...new belt?
And by the looks of it, on enough Yeti to kill a horse
ummm is the video speed up with normal sound dub over it, or is it just that fast?
Just that fast.
What kind of forest is this where the polaris fits between every damn tree :P

Polaris already has a recall out on 9R what could go wrong with a turbo 🤷🏼♂️🤭😱
is that with a lightweight crank?
Cant imagine the power this would make at lower elevations
