Wait!!!! You didn’t warn me that there was gonna be a pop quiz after this!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Give a plant that you feel will bring someone joy but is acceptable to their level of experience with plants. I would probably give a Hoya or a ZZ Plant. Something that is simple but has a unique quality about it…..variegation, silver splash, leaf shape, etc. 😎😎😎😎🪴🪴🪴🪴
I think asking for a christmas list is great If you're trying to buy a plant-lover a gift. Let them tell you a variety of plants at different price points they would love to get. Also I think sitting down and telling them about going plant shopping and picking out the gift will bring them as much joy as just getting the present. If theres one thing a plant lunatic loves its hearing about how people got their plants and telling others about how they got theirs. Also I think its a great idea to give away propagations of your plants. I know if someone gave me a propagation of their favorite plant or their oldest plant or a generational plant they grew from a cutting passed down to them I would treasure it as much as any "rare" plant they just went out and bought.
Episode 2 was just as fun a d informative as the first one. Love all the plant care tips and tricks that all had to offer. Even the viewers in the chat had wonderful plant ideas an insight. Thank you all for creating such amazing podcast and channels. May each one continue to grow and prosper even into the upcoming new year. 🥰❤🙏💯👏👍👋

If youre looking for an organic pest repellent and fertilizer i recommend oranges. Pour boiling water on the peels let it simmer for 2 days strain into a spray bottle safe to spray all over the plant. Keep the peels, let em dry grind em and mix into your substrate.
@@gazmatazz3002 Many essential oils can be used in diy sprays. I regularly use orange oil to help with any strong smells. Cinnamon is an antifungal too. Rosemary essential oil is good too. So many good choices available.
Loved this episode! I am gifting a syngonium albo to my friend who collects them. I got a good deal $10 for a highly varigated one. I hope she likes it!
@@annarogers8220 I've made a tea with Neem cake and mosquito bits and use it as part of the mixture for watering my plants. Drenching them that way got rid of the adults and the eggs. They can make you want to pull out your hair! Thankfully I haven't had an infestation in several years.
I'm very picky. I have a plant collection. Personally ask me what plant I want or do not gift me one. Plant gadgets and accessories are always welcome though!
What was your takeaway from this episode?
Buy plants that make you happy. Aglaonema
@@HIJRsings AGLAONEMA💚💚
I got don’t make plant gifting difficult or complicated.. it’s exactly how I got into plants

Time for some fun Christmas plant talk!
Woohooo!!!!!!!

Mosquitoe bits worked well for the gnats. I had an infestation frfr I was ready to throw everything away
Oh no! I been there too where I’m like, yall gonna BURN but mosquito bits came to the rescue lol

Thank you so much!
Please give me an Aglaonema Cultivation Corner! 😊
Ill demand Richie to give you one. He has more than me. Now 😂😂

Oh Yes those are always the best too!
Aglaonema are always a need
Mandatory
I like the very red Anglo it would be a need since I do not have red in my collection
Yes a red is mandatory in our collections!
I would give someone an African Violet in the proper self watering pot. And a bottle of Schultz fertilizer.
That would be a perfect gift!
