Linda, your home gives new meaning to the word "charming!" It's still nearly impossible to believe how much you've accomplished since you moved in. Your gardens couldn't be more beautiful, and the cottage itself is dreamy! I can't wait to see the new partition, the molding, and the front door! Your taste is absolutely beautiful! Stewart, the new Santa opening is just fabulous and so much fun!! Merry Christmas to both of you and your loved ones! ❤️💚
Oh the intro with the cottage artwork, the beautiful night sky, Santa on his journey, and that north star rising above... And truly love your garden walk about here at Christmas time with it's presentation of red, gold and green!
Your yard is beautiful. I have my ajuga in full sun, and it loves it. Can't wait to see the door completed. It's going to complement the cottage very well❤❤
Thank you for braving the cold Linda, the Hobbit Squirrel House is indeed kinda cute! Hi to Stewart, I love the Christmas intro, very fun! 🎅 You’re supposed to be 66 on 25th, we’re to be 1 Celsius that day…very warm for us! Zone3 Manitoba 🇨🇦🎄❄️
Merry Christmas! I truely enjoy any winter flowers, both roses and pansies. This time of year I want more boxwoods, they keep the garden growing and green. Cooler temps intensify any color in roses. Your whites probably have a hint of blush on their buds or centers. Adorable intro!
Hi Linda! The rose bloggers I follow closely now say that they are simply celebrating the transition of roses to a cooler regime, it is quite normal for roses to take on darker and brighter shades in the fall than in the summer and spring. And an even more distinct smell with a greater range...
Even in December your garden is lovely. Following you through your garden teaches my eye to appreciate every speck of beauty and interesting transitions for each plant. Your comment on the brown Redbud leaves surprised me a bit 😂😂lol as you always seem to find beauty in everything “garden” 😂 ..even dead brown leaves…❤
Wow, I am so envious of the fullness of your garden in December! I am from Northern Illinois and watching your videos in the winter makes me long to be a snowbird somewhere in the South! I, however, am not envious of your summer heat. I suppose no place is perfect, right? Merry Christmas, dear Linda and Stewart. Thank you for your character and content ❤.
Hi Linda I have a Sally Holmes rose it is now the 20th December here in Tasmania Australia and the blooms that get the intense heat are the pale alabaster colour; with the new buds a peachy shade; however the blooms that are facing to the ground. ie in the shade are a beautiful pink shade. So I think it is how you suggested, blooms in the shade definitely take on a pinky shade.🌸🌸🌺
Linda .. please tell me what was it you do for your muscle spasms? I am suffering bad with them right now…or does anyone else remember what she does? Your videos bring me so much joy ❤
How exciting to get inside work done! Can't wait to see the improvement on the divider! I would LOVE to do something to close up my kitchen even just a little!
Hi Linda About the rose,,,i think it is in its genetic make-up to turn all those colours. Not related to the time of year. When you think that hydrangeas go through many colour changes too. I'm sure it's not a defect. Just enjoy natures variances💞🌟🎄
Everything is full and beautiful. I'm really liking the front door changes. Gives it so much character. The inside changes are perfect. Thanks to Stewart for bringing back the opening with the new cottage. Feels like home now.
Thanks so much adore the changes you are making so well thought out!! Can’t wait to see when complete!!!
Your garden is still looking so lush for end of December. Beautiful.
Looking forward to tour of John's lovely house.
Can't wait to see John's house tour!

That ending walk, along the side of the house toward the front yard, was delightful. I’m sure people comment about that when they visit. 😊
Everything is so beautiful ! Happy Holidays :)
Loved the walk about today. So beautiful!

Beautiful garden from our lovely tour guide ❤. Thank you! This brought me joy today 🎄
Thanks for the tour Linda Merry Christmas!
My pansies are blooming but are jewel tones and really look lovely with the holiday greenery.
So many shades & hues of color. Beautiful

Hallo Linda,Merry Christmas vom Germany.

Thank you for the tour. Will the front door be painted? I hope you have a very Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁 🎄

Do you shut down your sprinkler system in the winter? What about your hose?
Miss your beauty ❤️
Lovely ❤

My sunshine logustrum looks terrible in nj 7a 😢
We had a cold fall in Tulsa.
Yea. Leave the pumpkin.
Hi Linda, I have to ask, what is cold to you ? Asking for a friend from Minnesota!🤣🤣🎄🎄🎄 Thank you,for the walk about, being so close to Christmas.
How exciting to get inside work done! Can't wait to see the improvement on the divider! I would LOVE to do something to close up my kitchen even just a little!
My better boxwood skylight turned bright orange. I think it is dead...maybe, it was root bound. Do you think it may come back in the spring Linda?
Give it a chance after winter. It may have survived!
Out working in my yard today,I didn’t even need a jacket 😳 P.N.W. zone 8
Roses, Just like our cheeks and exposed body parts in the cold.
Sorry but I like the before front door better.
Probably because it hasn’t been painted yet
We are all saving how we dislike the front door😂😂😂. Why it has the white color being unpainted is strange.
It’s not finished… if you don’t have something nice to say then keep it to yourself.
@@VDBCloud lol
Well it’s a good thing it’s not your house 🙂 im sure it’ll be beautiful once it is finished
👍♥️♥️

Soo late
The yard looks amazing. The result of an expert gardner. On the other hand, I really dislike the front door redo...not attractive at all.
I think it’s because you think it is finished. Perhaps you will like it when you realize it hadn’t been painted yet :-)
Merry Christmas - You brighten our day with that lovely garden. ❤
@@LindaVater thank you for explaining about the front door! I had exactly the same feeling as Ann did! In fact I will delete that comment
