- Safranbolu, a historic town in the Black Sea region of Turkey, is mainly known for its well-preserved and unique architecture, included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list. But this tiny town is also known for its production of saffron, one of the most expensive spices in the world.

One of the most expensive herbs 😅. I bought it few years ago, but it's not easy to find it because of it's price for my community economy, made it scarce.

When I kayaked and camped at Antalya (Mediterranean Sea), I had a beautiful memory with a Kangal puppy. It belongs to the owner of the land where I camped. I did not know that the puppy is a native breed to Turkey until my guide explained it to me. It is probably 4 or 5 months old.

The Kangal puppy in its adolescent age is already a strong puppy. I have played and interacted with it. The puppy is stronger than me. It runs faster than me, and agile too. Very beautiful posture. It followed me everywhere I walked in the campground. On the first night, I was scared in the tent. I heard breathing sound. I thought the wild boars invaded the camping ground. 😅 I did not dare to open the zip of my tent to peep. In the morning, when I woke up, I saw the Kangal puppy slept right outside the door of my tent. It turned out that the puppy guarded my tent all night!

Whenever I played with the puppy, I reflected about something. I think, if I am to play with a full-grown Kangal dog and if it kicked me away, I might probably fly off in the air. 😂 The Kangal is an incredibly strong dog.
