  • This video shows you how to remove the center console in a 2011 Toyota Sienna LE AWD. It's quick and easy, and reversible. The process should be similar for all 3rd generation (2011-2020) Siennas however other trim levels or later years might have some differences. UPDATE: A friendly Sienna XLE owner, Steve Berreman, shared additional information on the sliding consoles in the higher trim levels. There are two more bolts securing the rear part of the sliding track assembly. The bolts can be accessed by prying up the trim along the rearmost part of the slide track cover. Here's a short video showing the process: bit.ly/30q0atJ
Why would anyone want to remove their center console? It's a super handy feature and can store a lot of stuff. But it makes moving from front to back difficult, especially if you've set your minivan up as a camper. After tens of thousands of miles of road trips in our Sienna MiniCamperVan, we've found it's really nice to have the open access and we don't miss the console at all.
For anyone interested in more about our Sienna MiniCamperVan, check out some of the other videos on my channel. I continue to add/change/optimize the build and make an effort to keep this component list updated: bit.ly/3dMAQ4q
