"Marxism" isn't a literary tool, it's a political ideology. To throw it around loosely like this, when really you're simply looking for "Context", whether that's political, cultural, etc. desensitizes what marxism really means and what its historically done. Its teaching kids to practice seeing people with money as bad. Meanwhile, their social studies books basically writren by U.N. pound on poverty, and promote "sustainability" in every chapter, and to "think globally", i.e. communism, global government.
They’re talking about Marxist literary theory, which is based on the ideologies put forth by Marx in his writings. It’s a legitimate critical theory, so perhaps you should do a little Googling first, before you decide to criticize a literary theory which you are clearly ignorant about.
Thanks it was very useful!
