      Aoa,
Sir I have a good idea about podcast.
I was saying that seeing nature is very fascinating. So, if you do podcasts by setting your apparatus on some natural places like some caves or some mountains... On special episodes .. then it will be fascinating....
      Wassalam

Women and submission - why we see always more women "submitting", converting to Islam. As a woman I am completely on board with your guest. We have been fooled, pushed out of our role and position, our fitrah that Allah created us fo fulfill. He has the gift of a generational perspective which our young people are sadly missing.

What a beautiful man sheikh ahmed is, his poem made me cry at the end. Brother jalal is a phenomenal listener and well respected man. I just love his accent and his humbleness and respect when he asks his guests questions and especially when he says "Really" touches my heart. I love you for the sake of allah and may allah liberate Palestine and liberate all muslims and thier countries from the oppression and liberate the whole world from Si0nism ameen!

Our most challenging times we living in where cell phones have stolen the childhood of children and time of adults. It requires very strong disciplined parents not to give in to buying games and cellular phones. And many of us are failing as we see our kids become under the spell of the cellphones and games. May Allah SWT protect and guide us ... aameen

I loved this episode, and the speaker. Outside of the childhood stuff though, I wish he suggested some practical things we can implement in our lives to get to a society that's closer to nature and not chasing progress. Most of us born after 1990 don't have the skills to produce food, clothes etc. Even if we did, homesteading is very difficult and unaffordable now. We depend on the state and the market for everything. It's not really possible to break out of it without risking putting our children into poverty in the future.

Great talk. Despite the romanticized view of past Islamic civilizations as a “perfect world” - it surely was not. It was riddled with depravity like every other society. But we have the Deen and as such, we have the solution to modern malaise.

The problem with despots is that they don’t realize they they have idiotic ideas. Everyone pays them on the back in return for payment so they go down in history as good leaders. If you think a European is capable of fixing this situation, you are a fool. The analysis of how they’ve destroyed human normalities in this podcast is fairly descent, but this man is not in a position to fix any of this.

Maybe this will help with understanding his "submission" comment.
The concept of power and control being fully good (in colonialism for example) or fully evil (feminist ideology for example) and the western perpetuated epidemic of violence against women sully the concept of "submission". (And if you're thinking there is definitely violence against women among Muslims, it's important to note violence against women in Muslim countries made a pop-culture comeback thanks to the physical and intellectual assaults of the white man's conquest of the world). But in Islam, the entire goal of existence is submission, man or woman, and it's also the entire identity of a Muslim (someone who submits to the one and only Divine and nothing else), but women tend to be less ego-driven than men. In Islam there's a giant distinction between obedience of a wife to a husband, and submission. When a wife obeys the husband, as Allah tells her to do, she does so only because 1) Allah said so, 2) Allah placed the burden of responsibility for her entire life on the man that is to be her husband. If the man is not fulfilling his financial and physical responsibility of care and protection, he does not have the right to demand obedience. If the woman is financially responsible for the family, she can demand obedience. If the woman is not taken care of by any man, no one has the right to demand her obedience (outside of religious and societal law, which everyone is also obedient to). A family is a tiny council with a president, vice president, and subjects that graduate into chair positions. There's a reason there's not 2 presidents in any successful thing anywhere and it has nothing to do with inherently wanting to abuse the vice president, but everything to do with decision making. If the president fails his duties and the vice president picks them up, the vice president takes over. And there is much common sense and scholarly discourse on how, when, where, why, and what obedience can be demanded in a family, because woven within the common understanding of Islam is that abuse of ANY kind is forbidden (including coercion, financial, gaslighting, intimidating etc). But this society that electrocutes Allah's creation to gorge themselves on them, creates multi-billion dollar industries that demean women, and barely "gave" women the right to own property or voice opinions will project their systems of thinking on Islam and never understand that women were inherently equal to men from day one and that's seperate from family rules. Regardless though, a woman by obeying is not submitting because submitting can only be done for Allah. If a man demands submission from a woman, he is trying to compete with Allah and is also abusing His creation, and it's straight to hell for that.

What Muslims need to reclaim for themselves & their children is the natural sense of curiosity ,joy of discovery & uninhibited innocence that Allah has placed in every child in order for him or her to fulfill their potential.
We sadly being to mould the child to conform to traditions, man made rules & mannerisms in the name of God even before that child has even a sense of their own identity.
Society destroys the innate worth of that human being because blind obedience is rated as the highest virtue.
There is no deep understanding,no self learning through experience limiting growth & progress.Everything is forced & imposed even with good intentions.
There is no desire to observe & recognise the natural rhythms of life & to align with universal principles & laws .
Only to dominate & dictate which stunts development of the soul.

Children are so abused as soon as you are born.you are baby, is supposed to know all about life already - NO family is the root of all the problems, children need a DAD - when there is only a mum, the little boy becomes the substitute husband ( NO not in an intimate way ). It is too much pressure on a child, then a little girl needs a dad , he helps her to develop healthy relationships with boys…..What does she see most of the time- a revolving door of men - then the icing on the cake NO Religion !!! We have lost our moral compass….✝️return to Jesus Christ - a life believing in Jesus is the only - God bless all.

With all due respect, what is your intention behind this disrespectful comment? You're certainly not being charitable or kind. How sad that I had to stumble upon this after listening to a spiritually uplifting podcast. If you don't like Brother Hamdi, don't watch! But to come here & play troll is really uncalled for. I guess you're just another of modernity's victims who hasn't learned how to be a mature, compassionate adult.

I don’t like the miserly, cowardly behaviour of the vehicle operators of Britannia. Who never pay for dinner. Rather it’s always the person to their left. Vehicles have etiquette’s in Islam, where you enter with your right and you leave with your left. So what, the steering wheel is on the right. You choose British vehicles, you operate British vehicles accordingly and don’t behave miserly in them. Where you show me your backside all the time, instead of paying dinner. You want do something, show your backside outside of the vehicle and not it, drivers…

Islam and modern ideas are not compactible, submission to religion creeds would hamper development and scientific growth. For example, the social media you are using for dawah today would not have been ubiquitous, if it was invented in an Islamic controlled country. It would have restricted only to some bunch of Imams. Thank God, it was a product of secularism, and today, everyone is using it. Some women are very intelligent more than men, the idea of keeping such brilliant women at home itself is a disservice to humanity and God.

Using social media as an example of the good thing for secularism is kinda losing argument. Since it can be argued that it has brought much more bad than good.
Why do people always take things to the extreme? Vast majority of women, like men, don’t want to be doing 9-5 jobs. It’s utterly nonsensical to believe that’s somehow impowering when we all know it was done just to double the taxes.
No one says intelligent women shouldn’t use their gift for the good of mankind and it’s non sense to put down women who stay at home as if they can’t contribute to society from there.
