It took me a week to change the heater element and to wash and to dry out the foam plastic under the carpets that was soaked in antifreeze. I had to remove all the seats to do it. One thing I remember - it needed a 4.5mm socket - not something you'll find in the local supermarket. The heater hoses were no longer available but I managed to find a set of unused hoses on you know where.
Great Job🙂 I did this on my volvo 964 2.9 over the winter holiday, started on Christmas. This is no joke, it took me like 3/4 full days to change it. The previous Owner deleted the air cooling conditioner. My car is only producing warm air.... I hope i can fix it soon. Greetings from Germany

It is not an easy job do too! Now all the cooling hoses are available. That is why I replaced all of them
@@SATSMotors My car is right hand drive. So when I did the job they were listed as no longer available - no problem for LHD cars.

Still have some problems with the n73 but I love it. Best engine for the E65
