It took me a week to change the heater element and to wash and to dry out the foam plastic under the carpets that was soaked in antifreeze. I had to remove all the seats to do it. One thing I remember - it needed a 4.5mm socket - not something you'll find in the local supermarket.
The heater hoses were no longer available but I managed to find a set of unused hoses on you know where.

It is not an easy job do too! Now all the cooling hoses are available. That is why I replaced all of them

@@SATSMotors My car is right hand drive. So when I did the job they were listed as no longer available - no problem for LHD cars.

@@v8pilot this might be. RHD parts are hard to find

Great Job🙂 I did this on my volvo 964 2.9 over the winter holiday, started on Christmas. This is no joke, it took me like 3/4 full days to change it. The previous Owner deleted the air cooling conditioner. My car is only producing warm air.... I hope i can fix it soon. Greetings from Germany

Hello friend, do you still have problems with the Bmw 760 and how did the n73 engine turn out for you

Still have some problems with the n73 but I love it. Best engine for the E65
