I really like the way how you filmed Japan, high quality and no bs through out the video. This is so healing when watching stunning scenery especially with peaceful music background. Once visited Japan you just can’t stop revisiting based on my experience.
The most beautifully crafted videos on Japan bar none. What an eye for the best possible shots and frames, choreographed to such intensely relaxing music. Thank you
Yet another cracking destination within a cracking destination. Great clip,I remember being blown away first time that Sam did the drive across Kyushu.
I am a Japanese living in Kyushu. This Beppu beach sand bath is really wonderful! You can also experience the sand bath at a nearby historical building called Takegawara Onsen. Yukata rental, shower and large communal bath are available for about 8 USD.
Everytime you post a new video I am sure that always there is somerhing new/different to show about Japan. I'm looking forward to visit that amazing country
If only TH-cam had a like for 'a million likes', I would have certainly clicked that. Loved every bit of the video. Great job, Team @ japan-guide.com, like always.
Thank you for this video... I have been to Beppu and to Yufuin and to Kumamoto City... My mother took us to Japan when ever we went for vacation... it so sad to see the castle in the shape that it is in right now...I will return to Kumamoto City. Arigato
I was supposed to be going on a road trip from Kyushu to Hokkaido this month, but unfortunately had to cancel because of COVID-19 and was really bummed. Thanks for uploading this, it really makes me feel better!
sam evans from this channel you were my favorite guide, your interpretation is execellent. i dont watch much now adays because you left i hope you come back
Hi japan-guide team, can you make an update on this trip as this one is from COVID era? We're going to be in Kyushu this December so looking fwd to that 😊😊
Kyushu is our first destination on our future trip to Japan🤗 Thank you for sharing with us with such a beautiful places and warm our heart till travel ban will end.. P.s: Will you please make a video like that about Kansai?
I had planned to travel to Kyushu earlier in March this year but cancelled my plans because of COVID-19. I’m looking forward to when I can experience this for myself first hand.
Watched this thinking at first "I hope this isn't a recent trip. The last thing Kyushu needs is people visiting because it has few Covid-19 cases". Glad to read that it was video from a year ago.
I'm so jealous! I had a trip planned to kyushu in may to see the flowers in kitakyushu, and circle the east side of island to cape toi, then the west coast back up to the castle cities. :*( but covid cancelled it. Shogunai.
I'll be 30 next year in late June. It's not 100 percent certain, but I am leaning toward the plan of vacationing to Japan. Specifically the Kyushu region. Do you really recommend it? Looks great! :)
Wasn't it allowed to climb up to top edge of volcano? You would've been overwhelmed by a wonder of nature. Kumamoto is one of a few prefectures which has both of mountainous national park and oceanic national park. You missed Amakusa national park.
At the time we could not approach the edge of the volcano due to it being in activity and releasing fumes. And hopefully we can cover the Amakusa National Park in a separate video some day soon!
Indeed, this is footage we took from a year old trip (we also posted a video at that time: th-cam.com/video/3N3XzdpLdmA/w-d-xo.html ) Because of the coronavirus situation we had to cancel all our travel plans in the country, so our only option is to edit footage from our archives :)
Hi, I can say Hi/Bye/thank you/where is the restroom in Japanese but that's pretty much it. Do you think it'll be fairly easy for a non speaking Japanese to rent a car in Japan ? Also, I never rent a car in Japan so I don't know but does Google maps work when you drive in Japan ? Or do you know if the car rental place have GPS in English ? Arigatogozaimasu hihi... Alex
Thank you Leon! Actually this is a "relaxing" re-edit of a previous video we released which had explanations and a voice over. Due to the coronavirus situation we cannot leave our houses so we have been trying to find a way to help our viewers travel in a relaxing way :-) You can check out the narrated verison (with maps and all) of this Kyushu trip here: th-cam.com/video/3N3XzdpLdmA/w-d-xo.html
I LOVE your channel, I really do and I hope you'll take the following suggestions knowing that I mean them only in a constructive sense: Lose the cheesy "thumbs up" reaction shots to white dude eating food, drinking sake, whatever. It's a jarring intrusion to the overall mood that your team does such a good job of creating. It screams "WESTERN TOURIST APPROVES YAYY!!!!" PLEASE either find different music or better yet use none. The stuff here is worse than elevator/waiting room music. It reminds me of the dreaded Muzak, OK Boomer?
Very happy here watching. Does other foreigners dare to yell at Japanese? Well in Singapore many migrants not local yell at Sporean, they think they very big. Can the foreign workers yell at their boss or co workers? Almost 40% of the people here in spore are not local. If 50% of Japan is fill with non Japanese how do you feel. If on street you see all pinoy and india indains. They say they want to vecome Japanese citizen. How Japan people feel.
Thank you for the criticism, it is always appreciated! We actually have a video of this trip with narration and explanations here: th-cam.com/video/3N3XzdpLdmA/w-d-xo.html

Totally agree!
Japan is getting me through the pandemic. Thank you for a long video, full of beauty at every turn, soothing music as a backdrop.
This video with no talking is so amazing. I feel so relaxed watching it.
A silent guide is surprisingly great when the beauty of Japan is the subject matter.
The most beautifully crafted videos on Japan bar none. What an eye for the best possible shots and frames, choreographed to such intensely relaxing music. Thank you
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Such a beautiful and unique country, it’s high on our list for our World trip! Can’t wait for travel to start up again 🙏🏼🌏
Japan is so beautiful. I like to travel in kyushu. Simply unforgettable video. I have ever seen.
Japan the most amazing beautiful country in the world!!!! I love you Japan!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️💝💕🥰🥰💛🇯🇵
Kyushu is my next destination in Japan. Loved the slow peaceful and wordless journey of your road trip. Deep bows.
I want to go there some day. Japan looks so majestic.
Yet another cracking destination within a cracking destination. Great clip,I remember being blown away first time that Sam did the drive across Kyushu.

Been to Japan 9 times already but cant wait to go again when things are back to ‘normal’. Kyushu looks great!
It definitely was a trip to remember. We also can't wait to travel from prefecture to prefecture again!!

And I thought Sam is back. 😅

This video is like watching a Puppet show. There's no narrator.....👍👍. It's good to see but as an audience we also want to hear.....👍👍
Hi! May I know what month and dates was this video taken? 😊
Hi! :)
We filmed this one around the end of May 2019.
Nice video💔
somehow i felt dejavu bout this video...did japan guide already upload this video before?

Liked the video alot, but would love to hear someone explain what he is doing, or where he is going. Could be much more informative.

A little narration goes a long way to only see images and hear music is quite boring. Hence the thumbs down. 😐 sorry.
