I was about to get rid of my old Samsung note 10.1 with Android 4.1 (GT-N8010) bought in 2012. Then I checked your video and decided to give it a try. I followed your steps to upgrade my Samsung Note 10.1 GT-N8010 (Android 4.1) to GT-N8013 ( Android 7.1), so I can now use much more apps which I couldn't even download in my old NT-8010 (bought in 2012). It looks like I bought a new tablet. The files I downloaded are different from yours though, but I did use KingRoot, Root Checker and Rashr to do the job. Thank you, man!

It worked well for me with CM14.1 (Android 7.1). I didn't use King root for the root access but instead used CF Autoroot with Odin in Donwload mode. Then flashed the ROM as mentionned in the video. thank you very much for this tutorial !!!

Rooting via New Kingroot did not work for me (SM530). However I used the root method using odin as described in your tutorial to install android 6. That tutorial helped me getting android 7 installed. So thanks for both!
I Installed the custom ROM (Cyanegermod 14) for my tab 4 10.1 SM-T530 and played around for 2 weeks These are the KNOWN BUGS: 1. Camera is not working; 2. Sometimes the notification bar stops working and freezes the tablet if attempted to open; 3. Sometimes tablet randomly reboots (its a rare bug); 4. Sometimes tablet locks it self; 5. Tablet DOESINT SHOW then its charging WHILE its turned of (powered off); 6. When the second bug happens when you lock your tablet it is permanently black screened (you can still turn it off, reboot that fixes it); 7. "Screen Recorder" Program doesint work; 8. Google Apps Randomly Crashes; 9. GAMES SOMETIMES LAG... A LOT! 10. Rarely The tablet WONT turn on (Like it was at 0% battery but its not to fix it plug the charger and start charging it when you are turning the tablet on); 11. TH-cam Videos sometimes will start lagging when put at 720p or better resolution or then minimizing the video; 12. After 11. bug if you play a different video if will show last videos ONE FRAME (including ads) (to fix kill the app and open it this happens very often); 13. Some Games take multiple attempt to launch (mostly just downloaded); 14. Rotating the tablet to change from landscape to portrait doesint work (Same for stearing whit the tablet in racing games); 15. ANY file manager apps randomly crashes. There are probably more bugs but these are the bugs that i remember at this time that i wrote this comment Conclusion: DONT UPGRADE TO ANDROID N ON TAB 4! (Unless you want to have these bugs on your tablet) Sorry if my english is bad
i dont need recovery i already downgraded to 5.0.2 Android i got to admit it was a rolocoster of emotions until i finally after 1 hour i downgraded (i had a lot of errors/bugs like Odin not installing Stock ROM correctly (Failing); getting stuck on Samsung logo)

I don't think so however do a twrp backup of your current system before trying it ,if it doesn't work u can simply go into twrp & restore yore backup if u have problems getting the tab to boot,1 Last thing be sure to use the t535 twrp a quick Google search can provide it for u👍

Just had to do a little twist on the Root part. Found a link on XDA to use SuperU and it worked. Kingston Root kept failing so hence why I had to go another route. This was a SM-T530NU

100% worth upgrading because certain apps are no longer supported. Prime example is Disney+ This is why I tossed my ipad away.. It was obsolete after 2 years.. My Samsung tab has been kicking strong for much longer and now with a more recent version of Android!

I initially installed this but went back to previous ROM. It has too many bugs for my taste. I had been using Unicorn and I think I am going to stay with it. Plenty fast enough to serve my media contents, simples games and emails. So I am going to let it be just that.
A bit of fun doing this so many years after this was first put up, so some file hunting was required, but my Tab 4 10.1 is not bricked & has Nougat so still doable

Is there a way to root a Samsung Tab 4 if it was formerly a B2B device? The stadium upgraded their POS system and I acquired 25 tablets from their old setup, but they all have this endlessly recurring pop up: "Your KNOX license has not been activated". I figured I'd try to root them to get rid of the obKNOXious pop-up window. When I boot into recovery mode, my screen looks different than yours; it says: Android system recovery KOT49H.T530NUW3U1ANK1_B2B reboot system now apply update from ADB apply update from external storage wipe data/factory reset wipe cache partition apply update from cache I've tried the factory reset -same problem. The external storage is the microSD, so no help there. I also tried "apply update from ADB" but I can't get Odin to see the device (yes I have the Samsung Kies/USB drivers). When I reboot the tablet while still connected to the computer Odin's Log seems to catch the activity so I think there is some kind of code blocking it from seeing it. Am I stuck with 25 bricks? There has to be a way to just turn them into regular tablets, yeah?

I did all the steps and everything happened according to the video BUT when I rebboted the system it just wont go any further than the boot screen. I mean, the cm logo just doesn´t pop up on the screen. In other words, I guess my tablet is bricked, I dont understand why...I went then to recovery mode and the teamwin screen appeared again..I redid all the process and...got to the same results. How can I fix it?Please, help me!

All went absolutely fine (just like on the video)..but I keep getting the same error: after ODIN is finished, and the tablet is rebooted, it gets stuck on the samsung logo screen. I jus dont know what to do!!!!
@@viniciusdessaune4421 ok turn off the tablet then press volume up home and power buttons all at the same time then it should take u into the stock recovery ,in there look for fatctory reset do the wipe then hit reboot and the tablet should then bootup fine

i used cf autoroot too instead of kingroot because kingroot didnt work and i was able to upgrade to android 7.1

One more comment. I flashed Android Nougat to my old school Galaxy Tab 10.1 (like the first version). Made it completely useable again.

It is not necessary to download and install "Kingroot" in the options for developer we can activate the root simply

A EMPRESA SAMSUNG DEVER SER OBRIGADA A ATUALIZA O ANDROID DOS TABLETS SAMSUNG 4.4.2 ESTAS HISTÓRIAS DE TWRP NÃO TA MUITO BOA tá dando erro no log na hora de instalar a câmera não tá funcionando igual erra A justiça Brasileira tem quer olha isto é muita falta de respeito com clientes tem tablet semi novo parado porque o Android e 4.4.2 OS novos celular Samsung tá bug congelando a tela só ficar fazendo Android de meda e não olha quer os aparelhos precisa de Atulizar Android 4.4.2 não funciona o TH-cam agora a Samsung não tá deixando os tablets Samsung funciona direito mandar Atulizar e não Atualiza o Android 4.4.2 tem celular Samsung Android 13 com defeito de fabricação o Whatsapp não faz ligação toda hora aparecer uma mensagem configuração o Whatsapp era pra vim no aparelho não a pessoa baixar os outros celular vem com Whatsapp muita falta de respeito com os clientes eu não recomendo comprar nada da Samsung pra começar o site cobra pra baixar rom nunca vi está situação desagradável depois você baixar firmware da Samsung demora umas 2 às horas pra achar a ROM quando vai baixar ficar uma mensagem de cobrança eu tô sendo enganado comprar um celular caro e não posso usar o produto da Samsung as rom grátis isto só abre o caminho para os racks atrapalha os aparelhos Samsung porque a Samsung não é confiável agora só ficar inventando Android com defeito tô revoltado meu tablet tá semi novo não posso usar Atualiza o Android pra 7 pra todos a Samsung pode atualizar o Android sem precisar desse twrp chato não gostei o twrp esquentar muito o tablet a bateria descarregar toda hora tem deixar na tomada mais não chega a cem por cento ficar 45 e 56 e cair pra 50 depois desliga e liga sozinho

I did all the steps and everything happened according to the video BUT when I rebboted the system it just wont go any further than the boot screen. I mean, the cm logo just doesn´t pop up on the screen. In other words, I guess my tablet is bricked,
I dont understand why...I went then to recovery mode and the teamwin screen appeared again..I redid all the process and...got to the same results. How can I fix it?Please, help me!

So I tried the cm rom. All went well, UNTIL the time I pressed rebbot system . That's when it rebboted and froze inthe samsung logo.. I'll try the fix you posted above. Thank you!

@@TheRealAndroidDoctor That was an typing error...rs... my tablet is a galaxy tab 4 10.1 (SM-T530). Look, I did exactly as you say in the video you recommended for me. All went absolutely fine (just like on the video)..but I keep getting the same error: after ODIN is finished, and the tablet is rebooted, it gets stuck on the samsung logo screen. I jus dont know what to do!!!!
@@viniciusdessaune4421 ok turn off the tablet then press volume up home and power buttons all at the same time then it should take u into the stock recovery ,in there look for fatctory reset do the wipe then hit reboot and the tablet should then bootup fine
Kingroot did not work for me. Even after resetting to factory defaults.. I used odin to root it. Everything else worked ok. Thanks
