The way she makes it sound is like a life cycle with a continuous heartbeat, starting with a profond beginning, sparkles of joyous life events and a calm ending until the last heartbeat. Her interpretation is breathtaking.

@@jkcc21 That the "rule of 10k hours" is coming from a journalist who literally just made this up based on analyzing a really small study group (composed of "famous success"), without even a methodic approach, and it's mostly a book seller. Any teacher or anybody involved seriously in music will doubt seriously of this "rule". Also, what is "something" ? For instance, "playing guitar" which techniques ? Which repertoire ? which types of instruments ? Cause all that will really impact a lot for instance...
Of course, thousands of hours of practices are required to play music cause... well... you will need to work all your life, wathever hour you already practice, you always need to practice more so... I don't even care about how much, if you consider it that way, I would at best doubt of your passion. That "rule", is just BS. But I'm ready to ear how you'll prove me wrong ^^
And I invite you to debate this with other music professionals, you'll be well received ^^
EDIT : And, btw, it's the correct term, next time, check greek and french before sounding stupid ^^

This harpist is PHENOMENAL. No question. I am in total awe. She plays stunningly.
However, she wrenches her neck to the left repeatedly throughout the performance, which is a guaranteed way to injure her neck and shoulder irreparably. I notice in other videos that this is an ingrained habit of hers.
I would not call that total mastery of body, and I hope with all my heart that she will consult an alignment practitioner, Alexander Technique or otherwise, to correct this. She is very young and the damage may not show up until 10-15 years later.
My first harp teacher injured her neck and upper body so badly from overpracticing and similar misalignment habits that she can no longer have a performance career, which is sad for her, but even more so for all those deprived of her beautiful music.
May the incredibly talented Lavinia have a happier fate and a long career.

Its like traveling in a boat between no where in a sea, eyes are in rest seeing one colour, mind is calm, moon is full and making this moment special.

Metamorphosis (when not otherwise) can be so gentle and fluid... as the one thing, that remains constantly present. The change itself. So beautiful for the eye and the ear, vibrating, beating and resonating for the Heart, uniting for the Soul. ❤
In appreciation of change and Life.

John Apocalypse Oh, yes, I actually saw four "instruments": The camera movements, the beautiful place, the harp itself and the girl's expressionist face.

Some of the best timing I have ever seen. Incredible. I'm no musician at all really but I can tell that what she's doing is difficult. Love Philip Glass too, really cool to hear a harp version.
