    Hey! Love the video. Was wondering what the black plates was that you didn’t know what they where in the first video. I was hoping you used them or explained what they was. Just bought the kit and have no idea what they are. Thanks for your time!

    Hi, great video. Ask you what you think of XSeries RC Kit? After having tried it for a few months. I am thinking of XSeries Kit with Vertex Shocks for my Jeep JK 4 doors, but I feel very insecure because on the internet there are not very good evaluations in general about RC components, if you are not sponsored by RC I would love your evaluation and real personal experience with RC liftKit 4"

      This kit is definitely worth it, very well built and heavy duty. Rides great on road and is good off road as well. You won’t regret it.

    How did you know the measurements for the arms and front trackbar? Looks really good btw

    • @9NailzGarage
      @9NailzGarage  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      All of the measurements were included in the instructions from rough country and they were all dead on when I installed them on the Jeep. In my opinion it’s definitely the best kit for the money!

    Did you check to make sure the steering wheel was centered and did you have it re aligned afterwards?

    • @9NailzGarage

      I had to recently the steering wheel after the lift was on, I didn’t bring it to the alignment shop, all of the measurements checked out. Had 10k miles on it with perfect tire wear.

      Hello, I used a wire wheel and sanded the frame with 220 grit sand paper in the larger more visible areas. I used rustoleum semi gloss black on the frame and gloss black on the axles

    I use same exact measurements but the rear is s big problem. Coil springs sag to the rear and passenger side hits rear track bar. Also sway bar links hit the axle housing holding rear upper control arm. I can tell the drive shaft is not aligned and now faces down instead of slight angle up facing direct to the transmission. Anyone with same problem

    Very good video, however a very important element is the issue of the brake fluid, you do not explain how you do with the current fluid, by putting longer hoses if you must fill and as a thumb the lines to avoid air remaining inside the brake system . It is not just a matter of removing and fitting new hoses, it is very dangerous to leave the brake system failing.

    • @9NailzGarage
      @9NailzGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your comment, I can assure you the brakes were bled before it was driven, I just wasn’t able to get it on film.

    What do you think of the Rough Country lift kit? I’ve been looking at the 3.5” kit but I always read so many comments by online “jeepers” that say don’t waist your money with Rough Country and others that say they love theirs.
    I’m not a Moab rock crawler but rather a dirt road / water crossing Jeeper that likes to camp in mine. I also am not one to spend BIG CASH on other expensive lifts.
    Do you like your Rough Country lift? Do you have any issues with it? Would you install it again?

    • @9NailzGarage
      @9NailzGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love the rough country lift on that Jeep, it’s the most complete for the money by far. A hem joint is a hem joint, there’s no reason to pay triple the price for some other fancy overpriced kit. It comes with absolutely everything you need except for the front driveshaft, I have a video on that as well.
      Overall very good kit, rides well on and off road and also flexes very well. I love rough country and have put their stuff on many other vehicles as well. You can’t go wrong here.
      Here’s a test video too. Good luck with your decision!

    Did you not need the front shock relocation brackets? I just bought the same kit for my wife’s Jeep. The instructions aren’t %100 definitive 🤷‍♂️

    • @9NailzGarage
      @9NailzGarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I remember correctly I’m pretty sure the instructions didn’t say anything about the shock relocation brackets. I didn’t put them on cause I didn’t see the need, put a lot of miles on road and off with no issues.
