It's hard to not overvent. It's ironic that you can vent, thus sharing your true feelings on an issue, but not reveal that the venting may be too much, thus hiding your feelings on being vented to. A paradox in itself. It's honestly difficult to resolve, that's why transparency is key in a good friendship. It's also horrible that you were treated as a stranger by a good friend of yours, as far as I know, there wasn't really a huge incident that caused that divide, just slow drifting apart, so it baffles me to see how a friend would treat you as such. That's why friends who are always honest are amazing, sure they have a tendency to roast you, but in the end, they're people to stand by in times of need. Great video and looking forward for more!
