@@Jimmy_Cavallo there is no epoxy on the threads I saw around the edge until I can unscrew it from the threads. Then I screw in a new one and epoxy around the edge again.
Just tried it on a pool filter tank and it didn’t work at all. I’ve been using JB for 40 years and usually go through a big toothpaste tube sized box every year and a half. This is the first thing I’ve ever done that failed outright. Yea I used the old style, stronger. Then I V shaped the crack and took my angle grinder and cross hatched and roughened it with a stainless wire wheel cleaned with lacquer thinner and shoved it right in making sure to push it deeply into the crack. Darned if it didn’t squeeze past the edges that I’d generously left proud and wide Now I’m going to have a go at it with some actual tank scrap plastic and my plastic welder which I haven’t seen much to brag about in it’s abilities.
Use the right stuff for something like that. JB drives way way too slow and you’ll have no way of actually holding it solidly in place unless you use a half a roll of duct tape the stuff you get at the auto parts store even crazy glue seems to work just fine.
💥When that gauge breaks and it’s time to replace it you’re screwed.
They don’t last forever
Nope. I will be able to saw it off. Already did it once before.
Se rompió?
@@OffgridTV and after you saw it off, how do you put a new one on with the threads glued in?

Hmmm…. Worked like a charm for me. Maybe it was a smaller crack ?
That’s weird. We redid our radiator water tank on the motor home with it. It’s been going well for years.
Use the JB WaterWeld instead of the old school one.

Can i use this on plastics?
On a titanium metal on my motorbike..can trust them
Perfect
Can I use this on a car roof that's leaking
Yes….it seems to be the only thing that works for me.
that’s a plastic item correct?
Can I use this to re glue my rear view mirror on my car?
You can but probably want to do something a little less permanent I’m sure some gorilla glue or a piece of flex tape would work better for that

Yeah…. But I fixed it. No problems anymore
