Jacob, this is a replica Class A Climax locomotive built by Keith Mason and his friends in 1974. Keith and his friends also built the 3/4 mile railroad that it operates on from scratch as well using traditional logging railroad building methods. There was originally a replica steam sawmill as well, but it was sold off several years ago although the buildings and some of the machinery still remain. The line operates train rides free to the public every Wednesday night from June through October (donations are appreciated). This video was recorded during a special photography charter event in 2017 to help the railroad raise funds for repairs and continued operation.

@@thewvnetwork that is prity cool. To bad that the sawmill is gone, that would have been cool to go see and oparate. Do you think they will one day bring it back? Also, do you think they will build replicas of the Shay and Heisler a class models?

If you want to see those, just go to Cass. They also have the Climax restored and running now, although it's a Class C and not a Class A like this one.
