Great tips One tip that I have. Turn the clothes inside out before pegging to dry. There are two benefits : 1. The seam will dry thoroughly. 2. The sunlight will not bleach the fabric.
The recipe in your video for laundry soap is quite simple....i can't wait to try it. So tired of lugging aroung big clunky plastic soap bottles. I am going to try the wool drying balls....i have nowhere to hang a line where i live and the traffic can get busy so the outside air is not always fresh. I dream of living in secluded countryside. Thank you for sharing these great tips! 😊
I also hang dry most of my laundry when the weather is warm. I live in a dry hot desert. I also find it therapeutic, environmentally conscious, and saves money on running my dryer. The only thing I really gave up on line drying is towels. Even adding vinegar to my laundry as a fabric softener still leaves them kind of crunchy. Line drying my sheets feels exquisite though!
I have used clothes lines for decades to dry my clothes. It's such a peaceful and pleasurable activity. (I prefer to hang dresses on hangers as a way of avoiding clothespin marks.)
Love this video thank you brought back memories from when I was a child my mom used to hang clothes out on the line I used to love hanging clothes. I’m watching every one of your videos thank you so much❤️
Hi Priscilla! I actually started my blog sharing about DIY beauty recipes way back when, but I don’t really do too much with that skill anymore. I started focusing more on food! Now that I’m making TH-cam videos, I might be able to work that back into my content 🤗❤️
I like your channel, however, I was really disappointed when a read your blog about laundry care and you mentioned supporting the lgbtq+ community. What does that have to do with laundry except you had a desire to pick a side. I wish you would leave politics out of your work it was a real turn off. I like your videos to get away from all of that.
How very sad that a comment asking for a politically free video is criticized. What we do with our personal lives is our business. I personally believe there is enough politically correctness in videos that can be chosen to watch. When I click on a video about cooking, washing clothes, living in the woods on the prairie I am not interested in your personal views. I get enough of that EVERYDAY from everywhere I turn no matter what the topic. I want to escape that for a time as well.❤❤
From my Mom: Just when I enjoyed your videos I find you can't give a printed recipes for laundry detergent? I won't give out my email for that. Shame on you. It should be posted.
This video is 2 years old. The blog post is no longer available because I had to change my website to a new server and upload all of my blog posts manually. I have not gotten to everything yet. Sorry.
Or maybe: thank you for giving FREE advise, I really appreciate that! And I‘m gonna take the 3 seconds it takes to write it down myself! Nobody owes you anything! This is just super rude!
Lovely! I have been looking for info about traditionnal washing and drying methods for a while. I'm glad I found your video. Might I add, I would love to know what book you were looking trough while sitting on your porch. I love old recipe books! Thank you ☺️

I’m part of that community so I’m going to support it ❤️
Turns out your privilege to "escape from all that" led you to someone who physically cannot escape from it. Go figure.
Go away
