Rubix won. Technically more advanced. Texture more versatile. Floor work. Power. Body control. Musicality. He won and it is indeed funny that people think otherwise.
A lot of people believe that a good flow should mean an automatic win. While flow and consistency is important, and Delanotche displayed it at a high level, she was ultimately outdone by Rubix’s creativity, superior execution, and musicality.
You would never let Rubix lose a battle if it was up to you. Essentially it comes down to this - Delanotche sits in the MUSIC while Rubix sits in the sounds (In this battle, I don't mean in general, Rubix has many great rounds). Rubix got cooked in round 1. He didn't come with the rhytm, he just did power moves & there was no thread. Complete opposite to Delanotche's approach. Second round was a lot better from Rubix but at the same time Dela was clean all the way through, rhythm rhythm rhythm rhythm. Second round could go either way depending on what you look for. Do you guys even listen to the song or are you just watching for specific sounds & looking if they accent that? Go watch the world class dancers like Alex Da Cage, Slim Boogie, MT Pop, Rochka, Icee, Waydi, Evion or Rubix best rounds & you'll see the difference.

In my opinion, she can get a win here, if she adds a power move, a bit speed and more advanced isolation here and there. And no, I would let Rubix lose... to Paradox for example.

He did have flow, his movements were concise and his timing was near perfect. Not to mention his execution was far better. Dela’s round was not bad, it just felt bland compared to what Rubix delivered. Second round also goes to Rubix for the same reasons. I’m well aware of all of those dancers, and they’re all great, but why are you including Waydi? Wasn’t one of your criticisms that Rubix only “sits in the sound?” Waydi is guilty of that. Obviously that doesn’t happen in all of his rounds, but he has done it.

Very different styles, was great to see the showcase. Always funny to see the veteran hip hop judges in the comments. The actual judges have their criteria and Rubix’s creativity, difficulty of movement, execution, etc impressed them the most.. so he won. Lots of robberies that can be commented on (Majid or Evion at past SDF for example) this was simply a good battle.

I'm a big Rubix fan and I root for him all the time but honestly, for me Delanoche took this and I think by the look on Rubix face at the end even himself was suprised. Rubix is technical and has unique movement but its a Hip Hop event, come on. There has to be some "hipping" and "hopping" on the beat. To me Delanoche was more versatile. Yes she was less technical but in both rounds she displayed beat kills, was properly flowing and grooving on the beat and never lost that hip hop essence. Complexity doesnt equal better. Simplicity beat technique this time imo.

Second round is for delanotche, let me explain... Rubix was of course powerful and very strong however she was very smooth with it and that's another thing I hip hop... Is to make it look fire with simple effort and that's what the twins do... And that was shown on rubix attitude,, I don't know why he was triggered! I love him so much and I'm always on his side because I know how powerful he is but for me, if you know you're too strong you're not gonna be triggered and I know for sure that girl triggered him with her beautiful smooth dance.

J adore rubix car il est humble travailleur ce St un petit frère une source d inspi par rapport à son parcours , quand il se met bcp de pression cherche à impressionner avec des acrobaties ça c est plus de la danse, la danse ce St pas des kata ou acrobatie lui même il le sait , ça arrive à tout le monde. Quand on aime quelqun on lui dit la vérité. Il devrait rempoter le dernier juste debout avec rochka haut la main car ce St son prime à cause des délires de chercher à tout prix impressionner l adversaire il a mal danser.
Il comprendra un jours avec l expérience il est tres jeunes il a tout le temps de comprendre , en attendant faudrait qu on.lui dit si on l.aime vraiment.

rubix with 0 conversation in the first round. hes my favorite dancer but I hate to see shit like this get rewarded with a win. He's turning into the twins where he is just filling until he can throw out a signature. This shit sucks and its the opposite of the reason why I liked his style in the first place. went from a dancer with insane movement to a mover that sometimes dances. The worst part is he doesn''t even see it and gets rewarded for this shit. first round notche, second round rubix or tie.
bro thats what im saying man he does so much big movements and no actual dancing its like you in a video game never using your basic attack or your regular moves just using ultimate's ever second you get.
