Hi thanks for the interesting video, you mentioned other recipes using Gorse which I'd be interested in, please do share more of these. I'm not an alcohol drinker so won't be using this recipe but love the idea of foraging for meals.
You can make a gorse cordial too! Start by collecting 5 big handfuls of gorse flowers. Then you will need: 500ml water 200g sugar juice of 1 lemon zest of 1 orange Bring the water and sugar to the boil and boil for 5 minutes. Add the gorse flowers, lemon juice and orange zest. Mix through and leave to cool and steep overnight. In the morning strain through muslin into a jug and pour into a sterilised bottle and keep in the fridge for a few months.
