Hello Aubrey, my name is Tony I'm in Louisville, KY and I'm also a Turo host, I make over $300,000 a year with only a 17 cars fleet! I love your videos and interviews and would love to do one with you!
1) what is you average combined monthly car payments
2) what's you average combined monthly maintenance expenses
3) most of these big numbers we hear about are revenue not profits. Do you mind telling us what percentage of the annual is profit? Thanks
@@NAGIUXS Yes I make around $30,000 a month on average, my car notes and car insurance is about $10,000 a month, so my profit is about $20,000 a month!
@@TonyLuxuryCars Do you offer any sort of mentorship? I just started with Turo and have had some success but would love to connect(if you have time)
@@PhyberSecurity Yes I do, subscribe to my TH-cam channel, watch my videos, and hit me up!
@@TonyLuxuryCars hi what is your maintenance per month and what types of cars do you have in your fleet?
Audrey your contents is gold, I started watching your contents back in July and everything that I have done. I have done using all the information I have learned from your TH-cam videos. I am currently now on my second vehicle and I’m doing pretty damn great and I say. These interview style videos always have some really great information, like the idea of having a valet managed 2 of your flight at a hotel, like what who would’ve thought of that anyhow, thanks for all you do.!
Wow! Owning that many cars outright is wild! Underrated success story! I really like the cost per mile / revenue per mile math.
Pp
The most legitimate guest you've had on your channel compared to the other hacks
Very informative video and was easy to follow, no lag. Thanks for working on this
This guy is legit! I love it! He’s truly an inspiration.
This is an amazing interview. I really appreciate his perspective as a very analytical person.
This was excellent. Thank you both!
Awesome, so happy I listened to the end. I will be for sure calculating my cost per mile. Still so new to turo and have prices low to get good reviews and trips under my belt.
Great interview Aubrey 🙌🏾
He’s business minded. There’s too many Turo hosts only care about lowest price. They usually doesn’t last long because they only care about their monthly payments.
I did that with a 2020 Acura tlx A Spect and I was able to pay it in 2+ years, now that’s the car I drive and have no car note. The car has around 60k miles but works perfectly
These ppl are the one that are hurting the business
Fricken best video yet! Ty! Going to try the high one day and better percentage discount on multi day.
Thanks again for thes great video Aubrey!
This interview is gold. Im going to need to go through it multiple time to get all the gold nuggets. I do cash cars and Im going to stay with that till I get to 20 cars.
Boss man ,how you do with the insurance ?
Great interview, and information given.
I’m not on Facebook but I have been bingeing your channel for all the info
Like his risk averse approach, pay cash👍🏽fits wit Aubrey's advice wen starting up, "don't give up ur day job" 🤜🏽
Love the information 👌
Great video Aubrey!
Excellent video!!!
Lots of great information!
Aubrey, Thanks for the great content you give. I'm always learning something great from you. I'm currently Flipping Cars but want to diversify my income stream and Turo is right up my alley. Very soon I will have my first car on the platform. Thanks again for all you do!😁👍
Amazing video and guest
Fb groups, full tank, cleaning pre-trip, that’s a lot of thoughtful tips
Ho! Wealth of info from Ross 🤔 da realistic profitable bottom line from an analytic perspective is appreciated. Mahalo nui loa Aubrey. 👍🏽
Excellent video
For the clip around 43:00 to 43:55 I would love to get some sort of formula/excel that you could plug in for a car that you buy to get that cost/mile. Thanks @Aubrey for the great content. Keep it up!
Great info
Thanks Aubrey
Audry, Your sharp girl. I intend on watching more of your videos, simply because you know what your talking about. I've been around cars for a long time, mainly on the service and restoration side, but I am definitely no expert in this segment. Keep up the good work and three cheers for your concept and enterprise. Patrick
Thank you for taking the time to bring so much knowledge!
Quick question, if I may, what do you do about your insurance and starting out? I heard it’s like Uber, that you need a commercial license, and that cost a lot of money, and I’m just worried if something happens with the car while being rented, because I live in Miami area.
Thank you in advance
Maybe in Seattle, but it doesn't matter face-to-face vs anonymous. I've told ppl point blank please don't smoke/vape in my car only for it to be hotboxed.
Nothing is 100%, but it makes a difference.
If you are permitted to arbitrarily denying applicate for use of your vehicle then the face-to-face interview is a very powerful tool.
If you can't arbitrarily deny an applicant just lay out the rules and prepare to clean up after every customer and then you'll find that most people will do as you want and you have a lot less work to do than you planned for.
how to measure market saturation, how many cars available per number of potential renters?
Aubrey,
Thanks for your content. Been following for a minute. Wondering if my market is immature or what you know or others on here may know. I’m in Boise Idaho.
Does it work in Canada as well? I didn't find content about doing Turo in Canada
@Aubrey How many days per month is your average car rented out?
Hello ,nice job ,I have to questions if you don’t mind
1. What is a get around car ?
2.what you guys do about insurance for this vehicle?
Thanks
It sounds like his personal vehicle is a Tesla.
I'm guessing the insurance is through Turo
How is the situation with easy Pass???
I'm curious about what insurance company he's using for his fleet? Been hearing of ABI but i didn't hear him mention it.
With interviews like this there's certain bits of information that are a given, the insurance is through Turo. When they started to talk about claims and the hard time they got from Turo noticed they did not mention any other insurance.
@aubrey, what about his insurance costs for 72
In the fleet?
Good question
When Ross was taking about Revenue and cost per mile at the end. Does he have a spreadsheet?
He essentially admitted to being a spreadsheet at the beginning of the interview
Instead of buying all of those wires from China simply hardwire the ststem.
And since you have so many wires now just take some crazy glue and glue the metal to metal inside the port, this way it can't be removed. Then if something should happen to the wire simply splice it and repair it or remove the port and hardwire it as indicated above..
If you do a high-end hard wire job it will look luxurious and maybe even recoil after use.
Hey Aubrey, kudos to you for getting this interview. It was very informative and I feel like I owe you and Ross a few dinners for the advice provided.
"few" 😂
🔥
Thanks for the information!
I have one question:
Do you make a company (LLC or other type ) for run your turo business?
Or you run on your SSN as a personal?
Thanks in advance!
How can we contact with Ross?
Do you have a space to park your fleet?
He sounds like Cbum
🙌💯🔥
Can leases car be rented on TURO ?
Likely covered in terms and conditions
👍
I just checked turo and someone stole a photo of my 2022 tesla model 3 and used it to post their own car on turo.
Follow up turo does not seem to care about this.
@@GXKid06 good
Report it.
Love this, but if I was him id sell almost all the fleet rebuild and buy stock with profit from sales of “overly” profitable asset cars turn into mini Berkshire when you take investors when car market sours and pitch that it has decent stock dividends as well and will continue to grow (goood ole compound interest)
Hell Trade stock for the cars and your in great shape haha no real cap gains cause a trade or barter right?
Why would you sell an asset (the fleet) that you know makes a good annual return? I could see putting rental profits into stocks, though. If he sold his fleet, effectively, assuming an average growth/return of 7% on the stocks, I'd guess his profit drops by about 65%+, and he now has no job. But that's assuming steady growth. Stocks could go down a lot more and be stagnant for awhile. Also, it isn't that simple to just sell 72 cars quickly and make a good profit.
Cable phones from Chinatown
ACTUAL profit of 5k/year per car. This is an honest man. I hope people realize that. You can use depreciation when filing taxes but still please don't buy into videos of people claiming PROFIT of 2k/car per year. That's just not gonna happen.
This a scammer replying, pretending to be Aubrey?
@@Phershey The Whats App area code is based out of California. Aubrey lives in Texas. To my knowledge does not use Whats App at all.
I think you typoed, meant to say 2k /car per month?
I thought everyone was selling off cars
You don't wave your arms around nearly enough.
I do private rentals too using the apps to connect. But the best app is GetAround because of the hourly rentals- I can make up to $120 day. I can do private rentals with my personal insurance policy since I don't have the phony ABI/Lula Insurance, which neither are real insurance and also limit my mileage! But, this fat guy in the video doesn't get any bedroom action 🛌 with 75 cars! Damn! I know he has to also pay many employees! 💸
