You make the most beautiful soap! I Make soap As Well and you continue to amaze me with your amazingly beautiful swirls! Can't wait for your shop to open! I need a bar!!!!!!
You just blow me away how you can do a drop swirl then hanger swirl and they all look like butterflys!!!!! That mold is very cool too by the way. You make soaping look SOOOO EASY :) Well it is for you right? lol Love watching you thank you for sharing your talent with us all.
I have never seen any soap making before. I just watched your video on sweet rose soap. what a wonderful gift you have. I love crafts and I had gotten some molds to try some soap making. your talent has completely blown me away! thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
This is my first time one this channel and I love it already. Well done! I subscribed and hit that bell as well as thumbs upped you! Thanks for sharing.
Hey Handmade in Florida. You always manage to inspire me. Saw the PO Unboxing with Katie. Lovely soap there too. I'm always creating in my soapy kitchen but it's so fun to 'shop at the baker next door too'. Big thumbs up! Love your soap:) xoxoJen
Hi. Here in Brazil almost everyone lives in a climate of mistrust and here in yotube we are faced with your detachment and your willingness to share. Congratulations!
Love this video and after watching this one it made more sense for me to do. Of course if I try this I will have to practice cause I have not done a hanger swril as of yet. Your video's give me some confidence in doing this. I think I know 2 different types of soap cold prosses ,and 1 more hot prosses tomorrow after I get out of work. Great video:)
you have really awesome designs and colors... thank you for sharing and thank you for just having music as you go through the process... i do not make soap but i am fascinated with how its made and works and i love to watch these videos but some people can get up to like 25 mins and becomes annoying and i just wanna watch how its swirled and cut thats my favorite part... and you do just that... thank you :)
Beautiful soap, lovely technique :) You got yourself a new subscriber from Cyprus, loving your videos and soaping :) , thanks for the inspiration! Esra x
I just love your butterfly swirl soaps! This is the most fantastic swirl that I have seen. I love to watch you soap in all of your videos. I was wondering if you have a background in colors or designing? If not then you truly have a God given talent for picking your colors when soaping and creating the most fabulous designs! Please put out a few more "Butterfly Swirl" videos for those of us that are trying to learn this fabulous design technique, and thank you for all that you do in the soaping world! :) Arcelia "RC" Holman
Arcelia Holman Thank you for the kind comment Arcelia :) I don't have a formal background in art & design, but I do enjoy art in general and also paint (watercolor), when time permits. Will try and upload some new vids soon...thanks again!
Beautiful! Being new I am still trying to figure our gelling or not, freezing or heating, oy, Would you share what you do after molding please. Your soaps always look perfect. If you do both, would you let me know the prerequisite for deciding which way. Thank you
Cindi Geis Thank you Cindi. It's one of those preferences you'll develop over time...I switch it up depending on the fragrance/ingredients (some of which contribute to overheating, so I try and prevent those batches from going through gel). Both methods have pros and cons...test out a few batches and I'm sure you'll soon discover which method is best for you :)
Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing your technique. Where can I find some of the supplies you're using - a mold of that shape and size , as well as soap cutters?
Stalker Danee here. The QUEEN of butterfly swirl has returned with another gorgeous soap. YAY! I wish I could press "thumbs up" over and over and over. Remember that I don't soap- I just love looking at everyone else making beautiful soap as I spend my $$$$ on my paper crafting addiction. Frankly, I am terrified to get into another expensive hobby so I have avoided the call of cold process. So my questions are more about design basics and when I can purchase your soaps....what? Oh, I've mentioned before that I want to buy your soaps? What? I have mentioned it 10,000 times and you get it? Oh. Ok. Well I didn't want you to forget. And I didn't want to lose my stalker status. I worked hard for that. So my questions: 1. When you put the two bars together to make the butterfly, where are you getting them from? Are they the two bars next to each other in a row or in a column? 2. I watched you make your swirls and frankly, I am no so sure if there was a rhythm or reason to how you did the drop swirl. If there was a specific pattern what was it (and you can be very general here, like I said I am not going to attempt it)? 3. Clearly the hanger swirl was done very specifically though I am not sure how you did it exactly. Does the butterfly comes from swirling during the drop swirl or is it all about the hanger swirl or is it both? I just can't imagine how that hanger swirl leads to a butterfly. I don't see it. But I love it.
Danee Kaplan lol, thanks Danee, fortunately I have most of your answers: 1) The butterfly pattern comes from the design in a row/column being cut in half...resulting in a mirror image...not all bars will come out this way, it's the luck of the draw really... 2) While I'm sure it's possible to get more consistent results by doing a concise drop swirl, I prefer taking a more fluid/organic (aka haphazard lol) approach. I enjoy being creative and I love cutting into a new log of soap and seeing what surprise awaits...having said that though, I do pay close attention to my colors and layering... 3) Yes, while the hanger is responsible for creating the actual swirl, there wouldn't be much of a butterfly pattern if the colors and layers weren't arranged well...imho...so it's a combination... I've been working diligently on the shop and it's very close to completion...will post additional details on FB later this week
Handmade in Florida I have a blog at www.rainingjellybeans.blogspot.com I have taken a long break- well several months but am trying to get a post up this week. I am just as verbose on the blog as I am on youtube comments so it is taking me tooooo long to get it done. Stop on over. Danee
Stunning. What was the liquid you were adding after mixing the colors? I have made a few batches of CP but never added anything after mixing the colors.
Where did you purchase your soap mold and hanger tool? I love that the bottom of your mold slides out and the thickness/sturdiness of your hanger tool and that it fits so perfectly in your mold... are they sold as a srt?
Beautiful. I will start my soap making journey soon. However, I will use M&P soap as a beginner. Is it impossible to create soap this colorful with M&P? Thanks.
UrbangirlFabulous Thank you! I'm not very experienced with MP, but I have seen tons of beautiful MP soaps, so I'm sure you can create some lovely works of art using that as your medium...best of luck on your soaping journey!
Hello!! I love your channel and all soaps you do. I wanted to ask, how is called this cutter device (3:08 to 3:19). It can be done in a home? because in my country (Argentina) I can not. Thank you very much
I like. Been soap making only six months. Since I have mastered the zebra stripes. I will be trying new techniques. I like your hanger swirls. For your colors did you use mica powder, or liquid coloring? Great work.
Love your soaps just beautiful!! What's the tool you use for swirling? I'm new to soaping, what do you mix your colors with before adding to soap? In the cups?
Could you please tell me where you purchased the tool you used to make your swirl, I have never seen one like it. Thank you so very much for your videos, I enjoy them very much. I am quite new at soaping, I learn so much from watching you. Pat
love watching this video.....what are the dimensions of the mold you are using....i think that is what my problem is...my mold is not the correct size...beautiful
Hi. Love your soaping mentioned in the comments that you used Vibrance colours. Are what everyone is calling Rainbow MICAS or neons? Or are all three (Vibrants, neons, & rainbows) all different? I also wanted to asked is there a particular way to move the hanger to create the butterflies? I understand if you do not answer this question. I think you answered Dann stalker but I didn't get it! Thank you for even giving your subscribers and the general public an insightr
Hi Christine, this is Liz. Just thought I'd answer this question. "Vibrance" is the name of a mica collection from Nurture Soap. Neons are pigments rather than micas, and they are just that, neon colors. Most soap making suppliers carry neons. The most neon-y are Aztec International's Fluorescents.I like to add a touch of neon to a mica when I want a nice, bright color. For instance, Nurture soap's Orange Vibrance mica and Mad Oil's Flotation Device Neon. about 3:1 or 2:1 ratio. This makes a nice bright orange that has staying power. Most orange and yellow micas really fade. For a bright yellow, I like Bramble Berry's Yellow mica with Mad Oil's Tennis Ball Breaker neon.
Sabrina Caldwell Hi Sabrina, I'm somewhat impatient when it comes to cutting, but I do try and let them sit unmolded for a few hours prior to cutting :)
HiSnAtUrAlAnGeL Thank you! Yes, I'll be launching online soon...additional details will be available on my facebook page towards the end of this week...thanks again!
Its absolutely gorgeous, but just dont get how it turnned into a butterfly. You just plopped colors in and swirled it like crazy with a hanger lol. Dont get me wrong, its amazing. I just didnt walk didnt walk away having a clue on how u did it lol

Where did you get your cutter? Also I'm gonna try this!!! You're soap is beautiful!!!
Beautiful! can I do this with MP?
Thank you Maria :) I don't believe this kind of technique would work with mp...but then again, I don't have very much experience w mp, so not sure...?
I think that if the soap is not super hot it could work. I'll try!
Could you please tell me where you purchased the tool you used to make your swirl, I have never seen one like it. Thank you so very much for your videos, I enjoy them very much. I am quite new at soaping, I learn so much from watching you. Pat

Do you let your soap set outside the mold before u cut it???
Sabrina Caldwell Hi Sabrina, I'm somewhat impatient when it comes to cutting, but I do try and let them sit unmolded for a few hours prior to cutting :)
What colorants do you use??? I can't get purple to stay purple to save my life?!!!
birdiebaby47 The purple used in this soap is Purple Vibrance from Nurture Soap Supplies
U have really started something here with the butterfly I have watched now and they are all doing it wrong lol am gonna try with melt and pour
This is beautiful! Do you sell this?
HiSnAtUrAlAnGeL Thank you! Yes, I'll be launching online soon...additional details will be available on my facebook page towards the end of this week...thanks again!

corena garoutte Thanks Corena...magic ;)
It appears that after cutting the long bar of soap, two adjacent pieces were put together to create the "butterfly".
How many pound you make?
