This just made me realize that the guy I was seeing wasn’t moving in love. He claims to be a Christian man but resorted to silent treatment and emotional manipulation when we disagreed. I always kept it respectful, calm and expressed myself. He gaslit me. This helped me to better see what I was dealing with so that so I can heal and look forward to dating people who reflect God’s love
Respect, is a reason that doesn’t cancel love. We respect God so we try to keep his commandments. Unconditional love is the everlasting product of respect. When you meet another individual on earth that you respect, that is the person you should marry because more than anything you will trust their decisions will benefit the growth of your connections. There is a reason for everything, just make sure it isn’t selfish.
