Champ was just ridiculous, good time Johnny last year was pretty special also.
"What's Up Boys", I've never forgot that race and that extraordinary finish!!! He went on to run a fantastic race in the Grand National just one month later, I got 20-1 odds on him, and he got backed right down to about 10-1 on the day of the race, he went to the front after the last fence too, and I thought for sure he was gonna win, but "Bindaree" fought back and got him!!! A thrilling Grand National it was.
What’s up boys won the Coral Cup in 2000, he was 2nd in grand national 2002 👍🏻
That was actually 2 years later (2002 Grand National, where he narrowly lost to Bindaree)

Wichita Lineman has to be in there. He never jumped or travelled and AP McCoy carried him through the race to get up on the line. That has to be the best ride ever at The Festival 👌🏾💪🏾

I backed BIG STRAND at 22-1,it’s returning price,I was only 17,that was the same Cheltenham festival when AP broke the still standing champion hurdle record on MAKE A STAND for Martin pipe,and win the gold cup on 33-1 shot MR MULLIGAN,and it was McCoys 2nd or 3rd year as a pro,MAN OU BLOODY LOVE BRITISH HORSE RACING SO MUCH
If you watch Champ, you can see when he decides to go into his next gear, its ever so subtle.
But it's fantastic to see.
Billaway winning the hunters chase last year comes to mind too.
Nah...The Drunken Duck who gained a length at every fence and the stylish🤣 Brod Munro-Wilson summoning the gods as if anouncing his prescence in a shamanic ayahuasca ceremony whilst ordering a fleet of black cabs to assemble and carry off the contents of all bookies satchels present
More of these would be great.
One of Quevega's finishes was might impressive, when she came from way back to get up.
How on earth have you missed off Might Bite vs Whisper in 2017 novice chase?
Might bite threw it all away and veered right out of it. Only to then rally on and beat whisper on the line in a photo. That race is surely crazier than a lot of these

That hil! Why is it that I always seem to have backed the horse that is 10 lengths clear with 100metres to go and never the one finishing like Pegasus?
How can you not put Home Counties in this, he won the 1995 Vincent O'Brien County hurdle. Darren Moffatt gave him a great ride, sliced through the pack like a hot knife through butter.
Craziest cheltenham finishes and it doesn’t include Might Bite throwing it away and then getting back. That was crazy

I knew a girl who worked at a racehorse rehab facility (they bred horses too, Go Ballistic being the highest profile) and were big in the point to point game. She told me this Cavalero is always prepped for a tilt at the big prizes and my fiver ew was not looking good (I had taped the race...remember those days eh...so watched it 'live') and was on the verge of fast forwarding! PS I put a tenner ew on it for the National (it had qualified by winning the Aintree hunters in 98) as the word was it will run big ...and it was 41st in the list when the deadline for reserves passed!
Shame saddle slipped in the National needed Mr A Jones on board

If any fool dared to say there was a better sport than horse racing I would make them watch the Champ race..I would then make a sandwich with a bit of salad cream on before untying them and leaving their house.
