    Bethany, it's nice to come to your channel and watch you make such nice art after having to deal with such ugly subjects concerning our nation. Keep up the great work!

    Hi Bethany, your video has saved the day as I was trying to take a pastel drawing to Gozo as a birthday present but it was way too big to carry on and too big for my suitcase...and then I found your video so was able to take the paper out of the frame and pack it up as per your video! So thank you so much it is amazing!

    Hi Bethany,
    Love watching these videos and how you work all ends of the artists life. I was curious about the care and handling sheet you place in your paintings for the collector and could not find your blog post on this. Could you help me out? Thanks again for sharing your working process.

    Thank you, Bethany. So helpful, instructions on care for pastel painting such a great idea to include with painting. do you attach such instructions on back of painting when hanging in a gallery? Ruthie K

      I don't but offer them to my gallery contacts for them to give to clients who purchase a piece! :) Thank you for watching and for the comment!

    Could you do a video on how you got started getting your paintings in a gallery/exhibit? Also could you provide a pdf of your pastel care sheet?

    Thank you again for a great and very informative video. My question is what kind of info do you send exhibits . Surely they would know how to care for the great pieces. All of this is new to me . Thank you for replying.

    • @BethanyFields
      @BethanyFields  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, they do know! Sometimes they ask you to send any bio information about yourself or details about how the painting was created or the story behind the painting. Stuff like that. :)
      Thank you for watching and asking!

    Well, I just emailed you about the care and handling sheet you mention. I guess this would have been the proper place to inquire. Love watching your videos and appreciate all your tips and advice!

    Hi Bethany, can you provide information on where you purchase your boxes? Thanks so much!

    • @BethanyFields
      @BethanyFields  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use boxes by Airfloat Systems! :)

  • @marilynsadler465
    @marilynsadler465 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you ship your sold paintings in the Airfloat boxes and ask for the box to be returned? Or do you build the cost of the Airfloat into the final price? Thank you. I use Airfloat and love them. So easy! So easy on the other end, too, once your artwork arrives at a show.

    • @BethanyFields

      When I ship in Airfloat, I always include a return receipt so I can reuse the box. :)

    How do you deal with pastel dust regarding toxicity as well as catching the remnant particles?

    • @BethanyFields
      @BethanyFields  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I never ever blow on my pastels and have a tray below my easel to catch any dust. I also only do wet cleaning in the studio so I don't disperse the dust. :)

    Question for you! When you send a framed piece to a client do you request them to ship the box back or just for exhibits?

    • @BethanyFields
      @BethanyFields  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, I do! But when I ask, I always pay for the return myself so they aren't out of pocket. I include a return label on the inside of the box just as I do for exhibitions. :) Thank you for asking!
