I decided to delete my original comment because there were some angry boomers complaining about how this toy is "cheap" and how the toys they had back then were better when all that matters is the fun and memories you have with it, it's sad how so many people can get so upset over an opinion, anyways this is one of the best modern day kids toys, I can see so many kids making memories playing with this little guy.
I remember when I was a kid in the 90s my dad bought me a Godzilla and King ghidorah toy that reminds me just like these . They were made of rubber but the walking action was the same . You connect the tail the same as this one and it even had the on/off switch in the same spot . It had the classic Godzilla roar but didn’t have the lighting effect or water vapor heat ray of course cause of limitations in the 90s but still pretty reminiscent of this toy
Whoever had the idea of the water vapor as is atomic breath is a legend
