I think 'proposals' aren't necessary. If you've been a couple for a while, you like each other and you're compatible with each other, marriage is the next step. It's a decision on a joint basis.

How are you supposed to initiate a marriage without taking action and PROPOSING the idea to your spouse ?
A proposal proposes the idea, someone has to do it.
Why aren’t we treating Peterson as what he is? Why are we being deceived? He’s a man who sounds a lot like he’s preaching the Truth but he isn’t a disciple of Christ. He teaches an impoverished, psychologised version of Christianity that is worth nothing more than any other means of improving one’s life. Our great Saints would never pander and fawn over him. They’d call him out for exactly what he is. I’m so surprised and disappointed at the Catholic online space for treating this man as some sort of Christian hero.
Ridiculous.
