There is a rivet close to the azimuth screw that has alarge flat washer and plastic bushing, does that rivet go through a slot or larger hole to allow movement while adjusting azimuth?
john, I think everyone has been a little hard on you. I'm not sure if your way is perfect. I do know there are a million ways to do just about any task. With that said I've learned from the video that maybe I didn't need Directv & the fee after all. I'm going to give it a try, I'll et you know how it goes. Thanks
Look my dude I am technician and I install DirecTV dishes like that one and the shit ur saying is wrong u need an AIM meter and set it that way because the aim lines up ur DirecTV dish with the satellite in the sky
You Need To Take The Screw s You Put In Wrong,And You’ll Need To Pu The Screws In The Correct Way. The Way They Should Go if You Don’t You’ll Have Problems Tightening The Screws.; And Will Have Problems Adjusting The Dish Right And Left, You’ll Also Have Peak The Dish And Dither The Dish So You Can Get The Best Signal Strength possible If The Dish Is Off By A Centimeters You’ll Not Hitting All Satellites. You’ll Will Not Get A Signal Until The Dish Is Aimed At The Correct Satellites.” I Hope This Helps You!!!
You Can’t Leave The Cable Hanging Down From The LNB On Dish, You MUST Make A Drip Loop With The Cable. So No Moisture Will Not Rot The Cable And You MUST Also Ground The Cable To The Grounding Block And The Grounding Wire To The Electric Meeter On Your House”

Did they ever put a dither on the international dish?
The screws being put on wrong is easy because the square holes are on the mount side and normally you put carriage bolts in the square holes.
