Im still baffled at how far this franchise has gone. I remember when there was just the first two, simple point and click games with very limited mechanics, graphics, story, and interactions. Now look at it, fully free roam, voice acting, actual characters with development. If this came out back when I was 100% invested in the franchise I would've literally died and went to heaven. Scott did a good job taking care of this franchise, and considering how this game turned out, I'm sure steel wool will do the same
@@jammeranimated2627 the story went from one guy kills 5 kids in a golden suit to guy gets away with several murders in several different places with a family full of dead animatronics and has his soul trapped in digital malware lmao
For me, the most terrifying part of security breach has to be just how...human the animatronics are. They don't have pre-programmed dialogue that they just spew out, they interact and converse. They have emotions, even insecurities. Roxy is seen multiple times talking to herself in the mirror, sometimes to cheer herself up, sometimes the opposite. Freddy himself is kind to Gregory, but what hit me most was the fact that he grieved for Bonnie. I know other animals grieve and its not something unique to humans, but the way he does it, by avoiding places that remind him of Bonnie and how much he missed him, is so undeniably a human thing. Chica and Monty had much less exploration done, but I'm sure future dlcs will rectifiy this. What made them scary in the other fnaf games is that they were almost human, but not quite. In this one, if it wasn't for their physical appearance, they would be nearly hard to distinguish from a normal person. And honesty, that's what scared me most.
It's interesting that Fnaf 8 may not have a single living person in it. Vanny/Venessa might be Baby, Greggory is Evan/CC/Crying child. I will not add might, Scott doesn't make coincidences, they are the same design.
Security Breach's robots have no souls in them. It is currently 2030 in FazTime and FazBear Entertainment has been making animatronics for half a century. Sister Location animatronics were an absolute banger of new and improved technology. But Security Breach is even even even more advanced. The only animatronic that may not be a complete robot is Freddy
Well we see Chica "hungry" which is not a trait that a robot would have and I'm pretty sure that Monty is, probably, angry in the beginning, seeing as he's destroying his room...
The part when Gregory says "why" and freddy says "i dont know" when helping him makes so much more sense now, because Gregory looks exactly like Michaels brother who he accidentally killed, and now deep down inside as freddy he wants to help and or make up for what he did to his brother and do good for once since he basically started the ENTIRE fnaf franchise because his dad wanted to bring ppl back from the dead seeing his son die 🤯
Its also ironic, how a bear and a child started all of this, and a bear and a child ended it all, and Michael ends up being a robot when his actions made other people into robots, ironic
@@Joshkid2000 to add to the irony everytime you get killed in the og restaurants besides sister and horror attraction they stuff you in a freddy suit Its a BIG COINCIDENCE on why michael aka glamrock freddy is now a more sentient being compared to other 3 that got easily hacked by afton well The purple bunny guy from the fnaf 3 minigames
I’m not ashamed to say I’ve become weirdly obsessed with Glamrock Freddy. His “Way to go, superstar!” line is so endearing, and I love how he’s both cute, yet terrifying when you call for him and for that split second you mistake him for one of the other animatronics
He honestly made me feel uneasy the whole game. I thought surely he would either turn on us as if he was tricking us the whole game or get corrupted slowly. Feels eerie having one on our side for real lol
For those of you who seem lost on Gregory's backstory the one star ending suggests he is homeless and orphaned. It would explain his resourcefulness and why Vanny had targeted him in the first place. That may be Vanny's choice of victim since sadly they would be the easiest to grab and get away with.
@@flashstudiosguy yes, but because hes homeless and an orphan, no one would notice he's gone. People probably didn't even know he existed in the first place, so that makes him the preferable target. No one would even know he had been taken
Vanny didn't bring him there (well there's no proof or anything to indicate that) and Vanessa didn't know he was homeless until late in game so I don't see him been targeted
couldn't gregory just sleep till 6am in a spot hidden from everyone? he can wake up at 6am setting an alarm on his fazwatch and could then leave like a boss
He could hide in the daycare with Sun and play with him till 6 am. He just needed to keep the lights on on ON. 🌞 I'ts sad that Sun and Moon have so little Screen time. And they have a small room in the castle compared to the Glamrock animatronics who got big rooms for themselves. 😟
@@michelleschrock9141 that's true and he could have also just stayed inside a recharge station, or he could probably chill in one of the security offices.
9:09 There was one dialogue of Freddy that went like "We are not capable of harming guests" but since Gregory does not have a record, identifying him as not a guest, the animatronics were capable of harming him.
Like some others said, the Afton ending feels like the most definitive and vindicating ending. But I like the Saving Vanessa ending most because it feels the most conclusive with regards to Security Breach's story
It’s obvious that the Afton ending is canon while the others are hypothetical because it’s the only one animated in 3D while the others are shown on comic strips, but I will admit that Saving Vanessa is also my favorite because everyone gets a happy ending.
Technically you save Vanny by killing Afton? Unless that is not how it works but I guess it would make more sense since Vanny was not used as much in this game. True ending might explain why she does not have much of a role.
@@jingxie1451 It seems pretty clear that the story was changed majorly in the last year or so, given that a lot of voice lines that were used in trailers are totally absent in game, along with a few cutscenes
Afton ending is the canon ending, no matter what you think of it. I think it's probably the worst out of them, but it still is the most definitive one of them, like you said.
Numerically, it makes sense that Michael's inside Freddy. Say, that during the whole ordeal with the Bite 83 he was 13, he would have been born in the 70s. Meaning that in whichever year the events of Security Breach are happening, he is truly at dad age range. Which ties in nicely with Freddy's fatherly attitude and the constant need to adhere to rules (since not following them and bullying his younger brother caused the entire franchise)
I think it's Henry in Freddy as well. I think Michael is in Gregory. I don't think Gregory is a real human and is possibly a robot replica. I don't know if he knows what he is or not, but he acts strange and why would his vision glitch out whenever Vanny got close? Gregory may or may not be Michael, but I'm pretty sure he's a robot.
@@1untamedbrain I do like the idea of Gregory being a replica of some kind, but the glitchy vision doesn't prove anything since illusions and hallucinations seen by humans is an established thing in this story.
The Michael-ghost theory is an interesting one! My general impression was that the robots' "corrupted" behaviors are built off of their original programmed personalities that we don't see in the game. -Freddy, by this point, likely has several layers of failsafe protocols to ensure that he adores and protects everyone around him, especially children. Freddy's "corrupted" self is just chaotic enough to straight up steal a child, and break every rule in the book in order to keep it safe and happy. As such, he essentially becomes more self-aware by having his internal restrictions removed, and possibly also by gaining pieces of his friends' code to become someone new. He flips pretty quickly from scolding Gregory for doing something unsafe to eagerly carrying the kid around and bypassing security systems on his behalf. When hacked to the point of potentially attacking Gregory, Freddy straight up chooses violence against Afton. -Roxy is hardwired to be competitive, and at points you see her talking to 'herself' in the same way Vanessa was said to in the CDs. That seems to be Afton fostering a sense of insecurity while also pretending to be a reassuring voice in her head. Roxy treats the hunt for Gregory like a contest with her entire self-worth at stake. (Though to be fair, a competitive robot that also has to defer to children was likely going to snap eventually.) -Monty's lines indicate he was probably not the brightest (You can hide, but you can't hide!), while also having a "bad boy" attitude, making him easier to corrupt and prone to going full villain mode. He likely started out as a loveable, but snarky, meathead that modeled corporate-approved rebelliousness. -Chica's pretty much just Chica, though the conflicting protocols to push junk food sales while saying the opposite result in a corrupted Chica going "Screw this; I'll eat whatever I want," in addition to going along with what Afton (And maybe Roxy?) want to do. In a weird way, she has a stable sense of self similar to Freddy, as she pursues her own wants to an extreme degree after being infected. It's probably not a coincidence that she's the one remaining original band member besides Freddy Fazbear; unlike Freddy, Chica isn't protected by being the face of the brand, but she IS consistent, and thus avoided being replaced. -Sundrop may or may not even feel the effects of the virus, given his dual nature. He was probably always kind of a lot, and has the same child-protector core persona. He does appear aware of the virus and desperate to keep his alter ego at bay, even kicking Gregory out of the daycare instead of attacking him. (Though he does alert the more dangerous robots if Gregory goes near the entrance after that point.) Moondrop is clearly infected, becoming dangerously obsessed with enforcing naptime. They both become irrationally obsessed with cleaning up messes, too. -Map bot just wants you to take the damb map already.
This game was one heck of a journey, and all the endings have some way they can fit into the fnaf timeline especially one ending with are favorite rotting robot rabbit corpses returning
Its not typically afton its basically a digital version of himself or you could say a piece of his soul in the digital world as a virus yet to be captured/prisonment in the fires of hell like the original william afton we see in UCN Bruh we couls even see this in fnaf 3 minigames such as shadow bunny glitching out so its fair to say its william afton spreading some virus stuff since he is somehow possesed in a springlock suit half alive or half possesed but thats my theory alone So yeah the corpse is just dead but the digital afton wont accept that and tries to comeback again and ofc The so called blob comes back from hell to finally put all of william related things sealed in his hell pretty why you see many animatronics its kinda obvious why it is mix with so many animatronics in the old games cause somethings not yet redeem cause a portion of william is still in the real world maybe that is why they havent got to heaven yet But overall yes your point still stands
@@BergmitetheBlueandPointy0712 Well, according to the true ending, Vanessa gets freed from Glitchtrap's control. So there's no one left to resurrect William. This means that he will rot in his tomb forever or until the souls of his victims eventually find him.
it's also worth pointing out: due to the hack the animatronics most likely believe they are trying to help you get home, but end up killing you when they catch you. This is evident due to the lines they say when seeking gregory
I feel like the Afton ending is canon, bc its the only ending thats fully animated with a cutscene, the only ending thats not in a comic strip, and in my opinion the hardest ending to get. It also sets up a sequel because we don’t see what happens to Vanny.
It feels like it should be, but it's a 2 star ending. The Good Vanny ending is the only 3 star ending, which would make it seem like that is the canon ending. As far as setting up for the next game, the same is true for this ending. Now Vanny is out of the way but Burntrap is still there in the Pizzaplex.
Honestly, this game has serious post-game potential, wouldn't it be kind of funny to be able to go around the Pizzaplex afterward when the Animatronics aren't being set to go after you? Kind of able to hang out and see what they're like since they have full on personalities?
Honestly I wish the animatronics had more interactions with each other. To get a sense of their dynamic outside of a security breach incident. Would've been cool if they acknowledge Freddy's presence more when you are hiding inside of him, but the only bit of dialogue we get is Roxy telling Freddy to get out of her room. If the game had to be delayed to get the proper characterization they obviously were trying to do with this game that wouldve been fine by me. Feels rushed after so many delays
My idotic theory is: Michael created this Pizza plex with all the animatronics. He suspected something evil might happend,so he programmed Freddy to help whoever is in trouble. But it's just theory
@@c8ssss nah, Michael died after Pizzeria Simulator. But having died in this location and Fazbear entertainment’s tendency to cut corners and recycle old parts, his essence or soul may have bonded to Freddy in some way. The same way Afton was resurrected into his Springtrap remains.
Something about the idea of Michael being in Freddy makes me smile. And if that is the case I wonder if part of the reason he helps Gregory is because he sees his younger brother in him? Even though there’s a clear difference in C.C.’s personality and Gregory’s they are both kids who might’ve been around the same age. On top of that Gregory looks just like his brother.
My idotic theory is: Michael created this Pizza plex with all the animatronics. He suspected something evil might happend,so he programmed Freddy to help whoever is in trouble. But it's just theory
I appreciate you for putting all of this together and offering your interpretation of the story. All of it makes sense to me, and definitely helps me understand a lot better. Thanks again!
2:40 Reason why Freddy doesn't kill like the other animatronics is that "SAFE MODE" prevents It from doing a normal task and puts the animatronic into free-roaming / friendly interaction similar with white lights working joe's then the red light ones.
Yeah, Freddy isn’t the only one that acts human in a way. So does Roxy, she is depressed after all. My theory is that it’s from fans in the game complaining and wanting Foxy back and taking it out on her. I also Believe Monty is suffering the same fate, over replacing Bonnie, but he is reacting in a angry way instead.
@@Neo-Clik I think the difference being their respective willingness in their new positions. Monty's pretty heavily implied to want to be the main star to the point of getting rid of Bonnie and Freddy to get there if he has to, while Roxanne was probably just shoved into the band after whatever happened to Foxy. Monty didn't get the popularity he was expecting even after his scheming so he lashes out, while Roxanne has the pressure of having to live up to the legacy of one of the most popular characters in the franchise and is obviously cracking.
@@wakkaseta8351 I did not realize that about Monty. I mean I knew he was angry that nobody liked him, but not to that extent. I haven’t played the Monty Golf level yet so maybe it’s more there. Either that or Im just dumb. Honestly either is equally likely. 😅
When Freddy says “it is time to end this” That actually clues to Freddy being Michael because ever since he killed his brother he has been wanting to stop the company from making anymore pizza places because he wanted children to be safe
alzo the fact that he SETZ FIRE to the location, which alzo tiez back to michael since itz implied hez the one who set fazbear fright on fire when he worked there
I prefer to believe that rather than being controlled by another soul Freddy is actually the only animatronic functioning as intended. His likability giving us a window into why the franchise has managed to persist in universe. Functioning as intended the animatronics are actually incredibly charming and would never allow a child to come to harm.
Plus for a possessed robot, Freddy sure does act in character. Last I checked every possessed robot don't act right. And Freddy is the only one who wasn't noted to be acting strange like the others.
Something I noticed is that none of the endings are what I would call a a fully "Good" ending, mainly because something is always left wrong in each one and I would say its a pretty bold move to have no definitively good ending. Not only is this good insurance that the story and series can go on regardless of the ending, its also some of the truest horror you can get in that there's always something left behind that keeps it from being a true happy ending. -The ending where Gregory escapes alone is probably the worst, nothing has changed or even really been impacted and he's caught in the end anyway. -Escaping with Freddy is similar, Afton is still down below and still capable of finding a means of escape, Vanessa is still trapped, and the only difference being that Gregory and Freddy really do escape this time. -The Afton ending is perhaps the most conclusive on its own, as Afton's final vestiges are cut off at the source and this hopefully spells the end of the glitch, but Vanessa is still trapped with only Freddy and Gregory escaping, and who knows what might happen to her now that she's both trapped in the game and cut off from her puppet master. -The Fire ending is a bit worse, the Pizzaplex is destroyed, Vanessa and Freddy are killed, and Gregory escapes, but once again Afton is left down below and perfectly capable of starting again once the systems are rebuilt, especially considering how they like to reuse old parts. -The Bad Vanny ending falls in line pretty similarly to the Fire ending, Vanessa and Freddy dead, Gregory escapes, Afton is left behind, and the Pizzaplex will reopen or a new location will come along. -The Good Vanny ending may seem like the best overall with our main cast all being freed and escaping together, but there's still the issue of that big rotting rabbit in the room, because Vanessa being free doesn't guarantee that any of this is over.
Also, just one small detail, since nobody seems to be pointing this out, that's actually admittedly a really nice touch. Why does Vanny just know where Gregory is hiding? Cameras. Because if Vanessa is Vanny, then she's a security guard who has access to the security rooms to watch Gregory. When she's out searching him as Vanessa, she doesn't have the same overview with cameras to keep tracking him, searching manually. She's using the old game's classic mechanic of paying attention to where everyone is hiding on the cameras against you.
That also adds more evidence to Vanny and Vanessa being seperate people. After all, why would Vanessa manually search for Gregory when she has the animatronics and cameras? Easy, cause Vanny was in the camera room and Vanessa fears her.
@@magnusm4 Likely. I figure it's because Vanny in the security room can direct them to what part of the megaplex she saw him going in and out of. and they have security access to everywhere, so they can use shortcuts to head him off.
@@AzureRoxe Then why in the 3-star ending after you "free" Vanny, theres only 1 person accompanying Gregory and Freddy? Shouldnt they both come with them? Im pretty sure they are the same person because theres simply not enough information for two different characters. We know things about Vanessa but if Vanny is a whole different person, then we know nothing about her which is just illogical considering how important she is to the story. And the plot-twist with Vanessa standing on the roof looking at the dead Vanny is done in such a cliche way - revealed at the last second after the credits. It is done purely to confuse people and make them think that things are more complex than they really are.
I actually think that the Freddy soul might be the resurrected soul of Henry. Throughout the entire Security Breach, a lot of people commented that he’s more like a father wanting to protect his child. Henry also died in the fire so that the entire franchise could die based upon the guilt of not being able to protect his daughter. I think because he could not protect his daughter (Crying Child/Charlotte), he’s trying to prevent another Crying Child situation with Gregory thus the reason why he seems so paternal and the reason why the disassemble Vanny option seemed so personal. It also explains why he was sad at Bonnie Bowling and also why he couldn’t face coming back to that area. He missed Bonnie as Bonnie was there at the beginning, much like William prior to the death of his children (Elizabeth and Evan) and wife (and turning evil), was to Henry’s Fredbear. Edit: This also explains the fire ending and the willingness to burn everything and end it all like Henry was to William and taking Vanessa/Vanny with him, except it didn’t because essentially Henry created yet another “purple being” with Vanessa’s soul being trapped in the Megaplex much like William’s was. And Gregory would be back to being all alone.
Another detail that may support the Freddy is Michael theory is how after Freddy breaks down and can no longer talk to you, when Gregory enters the security room he finds an "Old Security Badge" and Gregory comments on "What is this?" Suddenly, right after saying that Freddy can contact Gregory again out of nowhere and describing it as "a new wind" went through him, and suddenly able to help him again for a while longer.
I feel like everytime he says that a security guard from every location (dead or alive) give Freddy the power to protect a child so the same mistake that William made won't happen again.
Michael's soul sees the badge which reminds him of the (good) old days where he was trying to stop his father, and the emotions from that was enough to repower Freddy?
I'm still kinda curious about sundrop's backstory: we don't know how he got there or who made him or why he seems to be less hostile than most of the other animatronics.
Theres a mail entry somewhere that says someone programmed him to do the most menial tasks because the past daycare person was a lazy bum (hence why he’s focused on “cleaning up” and playing with children)
I remember read somewhere or it was told that he a different kind of model then the other and is mabey probely why he the only machine with a free/close will?? Like the marionette who was a different enemy then the other with there own reason. But that what I think
I think the scariest part of playing security breach for me was Freddy. I know that sounds weird, but I was expecting him to turn evil whenever I saw him, so I was always preemptively freaked whenever I saw him
@@drawingdragon Maybe that's why its so effective. you expect it because it's happened before. not to mention the full tilt RUN he pulls every time you summon him. If he dosent kill you intentionally he might accidentally run you over XD
The whole vanessa vanny thing could’ve been better handled in the game. I thought the connection was a red harring at first and vanessa was just going to be the tom to gregory’s jerry. Kinda wish they gave her more scenes in the game and a more complete story and explanation as to what she was doing.
Allegedly, one of the glitches that arose when the game released is related to that. Supposedly, there's meant to be a sort of meter that summons Vanny when you linger in an area for too long. There was also supposed to be a bunch of plot points that came with it as well, if the claims are true.
she feels forgettable, putting a important character like that and make them disappears for the rest of the game without explanation is like an insult.
Freddy saying “my friends are down here” feels vital when determining whose soul is in the suit. Is he referring the the fnaf 6 animatronics down there? If so, I would suspect the soul of the kid in the original Freddy animatronic if it hadn’t moved on. The only two with “friends” in that pizzeria that would care about others would be Micheal (his human friends and brother dying there) or Henry (his daughter and animatronic creations burning there). Seeing as they both supposedly died in that fire and have a motivation to save another kid from the woman behind the slaughter, is there any conclusive evidence to narrow it down further?
Could be…. But he could also literally mean Monty , Chica, and Roxy. (Angry and confused) - probably because they were partially destroyed by Greg and/or are currently hacked. I’m willing to say that maybe the animatronics aren’t possessed by child souls (like the last ones) but are indeed hacked by Afton through Vanny. Their personality traits could just be fine engineering in their AI. Maybe Freddy is tge only one with a soul in him tho. But the others, I doubt it and they are simply just hacked.
I think Charlie (Henyres Daugther/ Puppet) would be a good canidet for the soul possesing Freddy. The animatronic used to capture the puppet Lefty was pretty similar to Freddy and also had a larger chest/ belly cavity for storing the puppet and the protection aspect fits onto her better i think
I feel like the Afton ending is the true ending, as it actually has a cutscene and you have an boss fight with it. I think that the “Vanny good” ending is just a happy small ending.
While i agree it being the true ending, i don't really see it as an "ending" since it leaves far more questions than answers. Very curious to see where things go from here
Prior to the games release, on of my biggest questions was “Who is Gregory?” “Why is he there?” and “What is his relationship to Vanessa?” I incorrectly guessed that they had some sort of parent-child or child-guardian relationship, cause why else would he stick around and save Vanessa when he should be escaping from the murder bots if he didn’t already have a connection to her. Even though I was wrong, the Good Vanny Ending feels like my initial thought has come full circle; where now at the end of the story Gregory and Vanessa have each other. It’s kinda poetic how the homeless orphan went into a place where families are torn apart (with y’know…murdered children), and managed to come out with a family of his own, with a mother/big sis in Vanessa and a father/big bro/BFF in Freddy.
One thing tho, I think he’s imprisoned/grown in the pizzaplex or somewhere where they keep children, that’s why there’s no record, and that’s why he’s able to sneak in somehow, cuzz he’s been there for a long time (well certain parts of the pizzaplex at the least)

Michael finding peace after finally saving someone from his father is so poetic I hope its the actual canon and not a fan theory, its amazing and makes perfect sense
I think it’d also be relevant to talk about Freddy and Bonnies relationship, whenever Freddy is reminded of him he goes into a sorrowful nostalgia type mode and it pretty tight lipped on the subject
Well we do know that there was once a Bonnie Animatronic (Glamrock maybe?) that went into Monty Golf before he went missing. Either Bonnie was destroyed by Monty or maybe there's something else about Bonnie that we don't know, however we can tell that Freddy and Bonnie were great friends
Little theory, this isn’t the og springlock suit, and we hear that bonnie “died”, what if vanessa killed Bonnie, to make a body for afton, because we know that he was in a computer before, and not in a body.
The fact that Gregory is an orphan hurts when there’s a chance that he’ll lose Freddy at some point, since Fazzy acts as a somewhat father figure to him throughout the game. I wonder if Gregory’s parents were also kidnapped for Afton’s purposes. Edit: I realized that he *could* have been on record if the parents were kidnapped unless there were records of them erased on purpose.
Don’t forget that Roxy is the only other animatronic that appears to have a genuine personality (praising herself in the 3rd person, crying for no reason, even getting agitated when Freddy is in her room)
True but there's a note you can find mentioning the new "personality chip" upgrade thing they gave her that went wrong. It seems like whether they're just super high tech or have some sort of soul is hard to pinpoint
@@alistocracy my suspension is that the "personality chip" or whatever they installed that glitched on them is why Roxy got to keep her personality while Chica and Monty didn't. We know from Chica being concerned and rushing to help Freddy on stage that Chica has SOME level of free thought but that seems to vanish after they're taken over.
It doesn't help (from a note in game) that Roxy's eyes gave her the ability to talk with other animatronics though walls. I think it really did a number on her personality chip. I wonder what kind of mental (?) abuse she could've endured if Afton was able to speak with her because of the eyes
Roxy most likely has self-esteem issues which is why she constantly talks the way she does and cries when losing her eyes because she felt like a loser when she didn't want to feel that way
Sadly, I think everyone agrees that the Afton Ending is the True Ending as that ending is the only one that ISN'T told in comic pages. I think what this implies that no matter what ending you choose Vanny OR Afton gets to live and continue their chaos into the future. The only good thing that is 100% True is that Gregory and Freddy get to leave together and either: Have a peaceful life in the future or become secret heroes that want to take down the company once and for all.
I meann I’m kinda happy the Afton ending is true (and I think others think the same) why? Well there is more room for more lore or games. In which the community is happy for
I would agree, if the Good Vanny ending wasn't the three star ending, and that in past FnaF games 3 stars was the mark of getting the final ending of the game.
Yes Michael Afton (Or Mike Schmidt or Fritz Smith as was his aliases in the first and second games) is back! I suppose he really did end up in an animatronic after all. Also love that Glitchtrap is surrounded by purple mist, nice touch really indicated that he was William Afton.
What I'm confused about is how advanced the AI are, I mean, they express human feelings and all have somewhat emotions (I'm talking about the four main animatronics + sun/moondrop since he sounds very human) It just feels like there is so much more to them
I think it’s a combination of the technology they have within them and the somewhat “possessed” or haunted state they are in from the victims of FNAF. Compared to the first game, the animatronics are much more sophisticated due to budgets increasing and times changing. Also, the fact that C.C and other victims are “haunting” the machines (in their programming due to reused parts) really makes them seem soul like/ alive.
my theory is those glamrock animatronics are powered by remant. one of the William afton's experiment. in case you didn't know, remnant are an energy that William afton tried to make from FNAF 3 before he was discovered by the Fazbear's fright employee. when you complete a night from FNAF 3 there's a minigame that show William afton disassemble old haunted animatronics. later on he "Melts" those animatronics to make remnant.
thats the thing, they arent advanced, they seems to have such advanced emmotions that of a human BECAUSE, they are, they are possessed by hte souls of murdered children, not sure who, but im sure freddy is actually possessed by Micheal Aftons soul.
Fun fact: the animatronics cant harm guests, but as Freddy Fazbear said, Gregory did not has a guess profile. So the animatronics were able to harm him. Edit: this theory is not originally mine, just wanted to say that
I'd even go so far as to say that Gregory is exactly the type of person the security protocols were created to stop - people who sneak or break into the complex. Granted, the original protocols probably weren't meant to harm or kill intruders (that behavior is likely due to Glitchtrap's corruption) but since Gregory wasn't a legally registered guest, he'd have been targeted by the security protocols regardless.
@@Dargonhuman I would the security protocols are true but I do not think he illegally got into the pizzaplex, I believe Vanny pretending to be Vanessa(or look like her) Had been watching Gregory and knew he was sleeping in that alleyway, and let him into the pizzaplex (posing as Vanessa to bypass security) And eventually something happened like vanny tried to harm him or do something to him, he runs away and manages to find freddy and hides inside of him, and because vanny and Vanessa look alike, that explains why he has a general distrust to her.
Sun and Moon had to had stayed the same. I mean, children were terrified of turning the lights off, and that's because of Moon. I don't think Vanny had control over Sun, but maybe made Moon more aggressive.
plus he looks more like a costume than a robot since we can't really see much metal and wires. obviously there's still some electricity in there but I think sun and moon is just some possessed lunatic in a suit
@@rubub8455 if you look closer at sun, especially before he disappeared, you can see sun has no head, the mask is his face and there is wiring behind it, but the sun mask hides it from the front. however, you don't see the back of Moon's head, yet I believe the hat he has on is what stops you from seeing behind the mask
@@rubub8455 i like to think hes just a guy having a good time, hes not possessed or hacked or manipulated by anyone. theyve both just always been like that
This is a really solid theory! Most people I've seen tend to dismiss the "Free Vanessa" ending as a wishful thinking non-canonical ending despite it having the highest ranking at 3-stars. The Afton ending has been given the most spotlight as the "Canon" ending due to its more cinematic ending sequence and the fact that it actually has you face off against a proper "Final Boss" compared to Princess Quest which kind of stick out like a sore thumb. Maybe that's just me though, loved the video a ton!!!! P.S: I also really like the idea put forth by Starfire10982 below that the soul within Freddy could also be Henry doing his absolute best to prevent another resurgence of William.
the Afton ending is given a confusing bit of attention by the game itself considering yes all its cinematics during and after the battle but its also the only ending that has freddy and Gregory sitting on the hill not in comic book style
@@sunbirth4795 That's fair, it just felt more out of place in a more... I don't know, "free-roaming" game like Security Breach? Maybe it's just me, I stopped keeping up with the series when Sister Location came out, though I'm starting to wish that I'd kept with it. It sounds like that's when things REALLY took off!
The bad vanny ending is quite gory when given thought because freddy be dismantled is sad and all, but he's an animatronic and vanny is not. Vanny is human so that means she got ripped apart and eviscerated. Besides that, i know the good vanny ending is not exactly the canon ending but its one of the better endings and probably the best ending, since vanessa, Gregory and freddy escaped together and are now happy
@@MyLoserBrain i would argue its easier to get considering it doesn't have to deal with the "can't save anymore" stuff. the Springtrap ending means you have to go through a bunch of shit to either get Monty's claws or Chica's voice box after the saving feature is taken away. with the good vanny ending you just have to play 3 arcade games. not to mention those games come a zero cost to you as dieing the games doesn't kill you outside of them
@@NAPainter but its not because you have to beat 3 mini arcade games to get the princess quest vanny ending. Sure the no saving thing sucks but thats it, theres no skill jus repetitive action hence the 2 stars an not one.
@@MyLoserBrain god vanny ending gives 3 stars while being not only incredibly easy but having zero risk to the player. the afton ending when performing correctly(blob actually doing something and cutting off room sections) is harder than any of the princess quest games and if you die you are set back bare minimum 1 hour of gameplay. and that gives you 2 stars. even the possibly of glitches makes getting the afton ending infinitly more difficult than the good vanny ending.
Honestly I feel really bad for the animatronics, and I hate seeing them get violently mauled the way they do in this game. I kinda wish the game allowed you to do a 'Pacifist Route' type thing where you could actually work to rescue *all* of the animatronics and when you succeed you get all of their help for the final Afton section voluntarily.
Just for you, Plot twist: you get to choose if you get to hack all animations to return them to the non hostile selves, even if it requires to lure them to Freddy's charge stations to do that.
The pacifist route could be you trying to undo everything that glitchtrap has done, but much earlier in the game instead of dealing with that in the end.
When you look at Gregory's outfit, he resembles the younger brother that Michael tormented and accidentally killed. It makes sense if Freddy could be Michael, as he now knew that his accident led to the death of his younger brother and soon caused problems afterwards, and when he see Gregory, he would make sure to help the child rather than bully them.
Something to add onto the Michael theory: When someone possesses an animatronic, they would only gain so much control over the robot. You see, one thing that doesn't make sense in the timeline, is that all of the animatronics somehow mistake Michael for his father. This is due to the fact that they all use facial recognition. The animatronics are possessed, how do they only use the animatronics facial recognition? My theory is that the possessed animatronics have the programming, the rules and the personalities of the robots, but the goals of the spirit possessing the animatronics. if the previous theory is true, then that would reflect theory of Michael being Freddy. Its the programing and personality of Freddy plus the goals and will of Michael.
It does make sense indeed. Remember the minigames? From older FNAF games? The text saying "SAVE THEM". We were playing as the robot, doing the will of the soul inside.
Also the puppet comments that the others are like animals but I am very aware only very few animatronics have control over what they do others kill cause the can't stop
@@abysmalbeat1268 the puppet being the only one aware is probably because of the intention on wich it was created. henry created the puppet SPECIFICALLY to protect her daughter and that probably had influence
@@sebagomez4647 you know charlie possessed the puppet right and all animatronics have been programmed to protect children it's only the puppet who is specific
I will say that I wish Sundrop had more screentime. He was another rare animatronic that was fairly friendly, and it would have been amazing if we had more time with him, where he didn't ban the player or have the lights remain on.
Be sure to sit back and relax yourself as well this Christmas Weekend Mike. With how much effort and work you have put into this series you deserve a nice break and some alone time! We all really appreciate every video you make.
Freddy being Michael is the only thing that could pardon the annoyance of having Afton come back since it would ruin Michael and Henry's sacrifices if they died for nothing. But Michael hanging around and not being able to pass on due to his grief and accidentally possessing Freddy and being awakened by Vanny mimicking Afton would make way more sense in a larger narrative sense.
Came here after watching Markiplier finish the game earlier today and watching the compilation of all the endings. I was so confused at the endings, but this video explains and put them all in to perspective perfectly. Originally I was confused as to why the ending where only Freddy’s head was saved is the best ending, but that was because I thought the lady there was potentially Gregory’s mom... Knowing now that Gregory was an orphan, but saves Vanessa and is low key adopted by her makes that truly the most heartwarming and best ending in my opinion.
If you consider Freddy as being Michael, you could think he is literally reminded of Crying child by Gregory, because they have kinda similar appearances.
Sundrop is an interesting character in the light of this theory. He doesn't either and shows that he actually wants to help Gregory (although in a really annoying way) and seems to show self preservation.
My best guess is that he's probably also a possessed one? The thing is, when all of the hacking this happened, it's probably moon drop that got the entire hacking thing because sundrop only exists in lighted environments. When they're brought down, it's safe to assume that it would be moon drop with how dark it is. In a way, sundrop and moondrop seems to be another parallel to vanessa. Sundrop scared to disobey and in a way is trying to help out this child by keeping him in a daycare where he can watch him (or not help, just want him where he can see him). Vanessa locking gregory in the lost and found so she knows where he is. Both scared of their other persona, in which both are unhinged and possibly controlled by a bloodthirsty entity.
Two things, the characters are actually called sun and moon, I saw that the other day. Two, I think the sm duo is likely affected by the virus same as all the others and simply manifested the dysfunctional personality traits that afton causes (ie. chica, from enthusiastic foodie to eating disorder deranged impulsive killer robot, etc.) both into becoming extremes of his own psychological profile, like the other robots, but also of displacing it into his two sides. Sun is likely not that unhinged when in a normal state, we can see he genuinely cares about children and taking care of them but the corruption leads him to be hyperactive, lacking impulse control (similar to adhd), unable to read social cues and with acute signs of ocd. He is also well aware of the darker side of his personality that is displaced into his counterpart, Moon. This separation gives him the opportunity to have a degree of consciousness whereby he is able to realize, at least regarding his darker side, that it is dangerous and not what it’s supposed to be, which explains his dismayful insistence to keep the lights ON ON ON.
I like it how you covered all of the stuff EXCEPT the missing Security Guard named Leo (I'd have to look back and double check) but there was messages about him being missed and that Police was called randomly in middle of night and Vanessa waved them off, not realizing it was actual guy who called them to rescue him. My guess (or theory?) is that he somehow got accidentally fell into the trash compactor or something that ends him being in deep underground with trash and abandoned security robots everywhere. I'm guessing he's the guy who eventually lost his mind and tried to make that table with robots around it so he won't feel "alone" while trying to have a dinner with his imaginary friends/family, and etc. At that point, i'm pretty sure he eventually died somewhere in the underground tunnels, either got killed by an angry security bot or something.
I have to disagree about the family thing why is it that the family looks ironically EXACTLY like the Afton family? They even have the kid from the bite of 87 as a clue since one of the robots have a head missing. Speculation towards about the mom being Ballora or inspired to be her. She is dressed in purple and such. Also you cannot tell me that isn’t supposed to be Baby- it’s clearly her with the pig tails and everything. William being in a fancy top hat clearly being the head of this family and then there is Micheal next to Baby in front of his beheaded brother. Maybe he was hiding somewhere in one of the hidden rooms of the PizzaPliex??? But idk who might’ve even created that. If not Leo then who? Could it be Freddy supposedly Micheal or even William in the flesh….? Idk I’m still trying to catch up on everything since I’ve been in the superhero universe for a while lmao. So tell me if I’m wrong or something 👀
@@roxanne_ i agree with you but not all of it. First of all, the younger brother/crying child/evan got bit in 1983, not 87, 87 was a seperate incident with a nightguard at the fnaf 2 location. I'm actually not sure if the beheaded one is Michael or evan, the other brother robot has a cap with a spinning thing and childish clothes overall which suggests he is the younger one. i'm not sure though. And i have no idea who would build that sort of thing. Maybe william himself but i have no idea
Knowing that Vanny is Vanessa in a costume makes the “disassemble Vanny” scene much more horrific, if we are to glean anything from how Freddy reacted to being disassembled Edit: whether or not Vanny is Vanessa or a twin or whatever I think we can all agree being torn apart by robots with power tools is a terrible way to go
the real question will always be why seemingly entretaining animatronics have enoug grip strenght and strenght in general to brutalize an adult when their purpose is cleaning/performing and giving out maps.

The only animatronic to malfuntion during the performance was freddy. The others turned evil as they were hacked by Vanny after closing. Also, people call the Springtrap ending the true ending.
I believe the springtrap ending and the good vanny ending are both "True". edit: saving vanessa is a 3 star ending and the springtrap ending is a 2 star ending!
The PQ stuff feels more secretive, but the ‘Final fight’ feels more definitive. I personally hope that the ‘Saving Vanessa’ ending is true because it could lead to more interesting sequels with multiple different killers. I also sympathize heavily with Vanessa having my own mental health nightmares especially in my “tween” years, and the ‘Springtrap’ ending seems to imply that ‘Vanny’ won’t leave anytime soon.
Most animatronics seem sentient, but I think it's just because of how advanced their technology is. I mean, they literally have the function to *eat* and *sleep,* who says that they can't have some pre-programmed personality too?
She is a replacement of foxy and her program/chip was messed up so she ended up finding out she is a replacement so she Is afraid she isnt good enough so she compliments herself.
Just wanted to point a little something out. Not sure if it will be useful information, but I figure it should be mentioned, and I haven't seen it mentioned yet. Right before leaving the Pizzaplex, Gregory says that, if he leaves, "nothing will change, will it? There will still be more disappearances." To me, this implies that Gregory entered the Pizzaplex NOT because he wanted to have some fun but gets all wrapped up in the Vanny trouble, but instead, that he's on a mission of sorts, to stop the disappearances. On top of that, Freddy responds by saying, "Yes. I am afraid that is correct." Thus, Freddy KNOWS about the disappearances to an extent. It's strange that they don't learn exactly WHY the disappearances are occurring, nor if there's any proof that any of the endings show that the disappearances stop, or at least reduce in frequency. I just find that strange is all.
It's entirely likely that Gregory either learned about the previous disappearances through the newspapers like the ones seen in the endings, had friends that disappeared or both. Presuming both for the moment, it's entirely likely he first heard about things because some of his friends whether orphans/street kids like him or potentially someone with a home/family (maybe foster/adoption) told him about the place before disappearing. Likely the original plan was to go in, get some food, have a bit of fun, then the friend(s) disappeared only to show up in the papers as missing, so the plan for fun turned into a plan to find someone Gregory thought of as a friend only to get caught in the mess. It's also likely the original plan for escape was to GTFO as soon as possible, then he remembered why he came in the first place and questioned Freddy about the disappearances. I'm not sure on how Freddy himself knows, though given the Glamrock model seems to have some similar functions to the Funtime version… even if he was supposed to be using it for cake it's possible he's been made to use it how Gregory uses it for a more sinister purpose. Combine that with potentially Micheal/Crying Child soul inside and… yeah.
@@Ghrathryn Freddy helped vanny clear out the path in the old pizzeria so he must've known something but tried to forget it since it's very obvious he feels guilty about what he's done he might not know why the children are missing but he must know about them due to that pizzeria
Something that I realized when none of the animatronics seemed to see Vanny at times but they could at others, reminded me of something in the books (spoiler warning) Charlie made two animatronic heads and they could only see her when she activated a certain module. This could be a reason why the animatronics don’t see Vanny until later on, Vanny may have something similar
I love the explanation that Venessa does not have a twin sister, since if she did its very weird she never comes up before that. Her just being forever bound to the pizzeria makes a lot more sense.
@@Getmilkk What do you mean? I wasn't very clear, but when I was talking about "Forever bound to the pizzeria" I meant the ending where she's looking down at either herself or her twin sister.
@@slingshotkurt8474 That would make even less sense, as that's assuming that happens in the series. Even though haunting of objects is a concrete concept in the series, haunting of locations has never been a thing, so it seems very odd to start now.
I was wondering why Freddy was so kind and protective. Him being haunted by Michael makes perfect sense and ties the other games in well. I can still say I’m not super satisfied with Vannys story, I feel liked there’s a lot more secrets to unlock with her and with Glitchtrap.
This whole time I was thinking it was because he had that glitch during the performance and wasn't supposed to leave his room really. I though because of the malfunction his other systems just didn't kick in or because he was being fixed up or something the hacking didn't process through.
@@thundrstxrmmusic8642something not mentioned in the video is that Bonnie was once a member of the cast, but something happened which caused him to be decommissioned which is why Monty replaces him. Remnants of him can still be found, like with Bonnie Bowling. There are theories that Monty destroyed Bonnie to take his place in the band, which isn't very out there considering his violent and destructive behavior.
Its more likely to be the puppet cuz she always wanted to protect others and also the bots and spirits under the pizza plex wouldn't be mikes friends but they would be the puppets, and freddy couldve been rebuilt with lefty parts. and lefty had the puppet in him.
I don’t think Gregory is homeless, I think he’s a runaway. Remember the weird “midnight motorist” game from FNAF 6? Remember how one of the orange guys kids runs off to “that place,” and that “he’ll be sorry when he gets back?” Perhaps that was Gregory running away from a broken or abusive home? Just a thought.
Hmm, that would explain his outfit as well as the plasters. It seemed odd to me for an orphaned and homeless child to have clothes that haven't been too dirty or worn out 🤔 He's a runaway rather than a homeless orphan. And with him not being on the guest list can suggest he doesn't want to be sent back to his home
I think Gregory is animatronic with crying childs soul, because when dying you get that static tv screen and he has same clothes as crying child. So Freddy is actually atoning by saving his brother at last.
I actually theorize that there is more to Gregory’s parents then “he’s a homeless orphan” because orphans would be put in foster care. In fact, earlier Roxy even says *your family is looking for you* . The theory that Vanessa was his mother makes some sense. She may have lost her mind when she was infected by Vanny. Greggory expresses that he knew children were going missing before coming. Maybe he started to be afraid of her/suspect her when she went insane. We do see Vanessa with Gregory and Freddy in the princess quest ending Gregory also acts alarmed that glitch trap was Vanessa in the first place
honestly I wouldn't be surprised if his parents were Michael Afton and Vanessa... maybe some point after before Gregory is born... Michael goes missing (since he is theorized to be who you play as in Pizzaria simulator) she decides to investigate fazbear entertainment (since obviously the police suck at their job in the fnaf universe) prompting her to become a beta tester for FNAF VR somepoint between fnaf 6 and security breach because we see the mall being built in the distance and a coming soon billboard when you are outside in one of the endings for help wanted and gregory was more than likely born before she was the beta tester for FNAF VR
I feel Roxy possesses just as much cognitive ability as Freddy. Her emotions are very human. Case in point: Roxy is a bit self obsessed, has self image issues and she’s the only one who makes human noises (crying) not to mention the anxiety meltdown she has after getting getting wrecked is heart breaking, the crying, the pleading that people still love her,the insistence that she just needs some work down, her logic that she can still hear you. It’s all very human, not to mention she bargains, denies,is basically depressed and yells when she jumps at you so that’s 4 of 5 stages of grief. If Freddy is possessed then Roxy must be as well, her and Freddy are both well above the other animatronics when it comes to cognitive abilities Edit: Also,I don't think it's a ghost in the fire ending, she doesn't look ghostly enough. If you're trying to send that message, you make it clearer, especially since ghosts in this franchise tend to turn grey as seen in all previous games. Not to mention in the save Vanny ending she wears brown trousers and Vanessa wears black trousers. Also,if Vanessa isn't freed until the free Vanny ending why doesn't she kill you instead of putting you in lost and found. Not to mention how impractical it would be to keep getting in and out of the suit
I'm not disagreeing with the idea Freddy and Roxy are possessed, but I'm also not agreeing with it yet. Freddy was never hit with the virus because he was in safe mode from the start, how he acts through the game is how he really is. Roxy is questionable because she's hit with it like the others, but her "upgrade" was maybe making her see some things which caused problems. If they were possessed, they're more likely to be angry at most things if not everything. Monty though not possessed, was always angry, he was seen as the replacement which is why he got rid of Bonnie, and is center stage in his area. The new claws didn't help anything, it probably helped his destructive behaviors. Chica, she's always had a love for food, and there was that gator mix or something that she went crazy for. They all have behaviors that are seen in people, and since they're meant for people, it only makes sense to take advantage of the technology they have and build them to act like normal humans.

@@satsujin-shathewitchkingof6185 In the edit you made i dont think it makes really sense as if thats the case in the saving vannessa ending it should basicly mean the other vannessa is still alive and well.

I was so confused when I saw the Vanny roof ending. I thought Vanny and Vanessa were two different people. But it makes more sense and is more satisfying that her soul was what we saw at the end.
Going off of the idea that the good Vanny ending is the games "true ending", then that also means that the mall, and therefore glitchtrap, still exist. This could mean that, like William always says, he will come back.
@@varadsalunkhe9008 i think the Vanny good ending is the true ending because it is the ONLY ending to give you 3 stars. all the others minus the bad ending(leaving the pizzareia through the front door) give you 2. with the bad ending giving you only 1
@@liamsalb620 mainly I think it's because afton would look downright ugly in the comic book form, but another explination could simply be that with what little screentime afton even has they wanted to show off the model more than just in in game cutscene. Or it could just be because of how significant the moment was.
Personally I think its the spirit of the crying child possessing Freddy. One line you skipped over is Freddy's final line "I AM NOT ME" which is directly opposite of Golden Freddy's "ITS ME" line. It would also make sense why Freddy calls the other animatronics his friends, as we know the crying child considered them friends, however we know nothing about Micheal's relation to them. It also feels more narratively complete to me, as crying child gets to save someone who was like him once, and he was also the only one without closure throughout the series until now
I've seen some theories on how monty may not be the one who decommissioned bonnie. They suggest that monty didn't attack bonnie, but that bonnie attacked monty, considering that monty is still active, while bonnie obviously isn't. The most logical decision would usually be to keep the safe but broken animatronic, and decommission the dangerous one. (Although, considering this is fazbear entertainment, they might have just picked the cheapest option) Maybe bonnie was some kind of failed hacking test by vanny? That he may have gotten very aggressive towards monty, purely by accident. Monty also wasn't given his claws until after he replaced bonnie to play the guitar
There's also the established implication that the company will switch casings for troublesome robots, and Monty's high jump seems a bit random for an alligator. It's possible that Bonnie acted up due to Vanny's hack, both animatronics got wrecked, and Monty was rebuilt with the lower half of Bonnie's endoskeleton. Now you have a mini golf mascot that can jump like a rabbit and knows how to play the bass (once his claws were upgraded.) The rest of Bonnie could have been scrapped, then salvaged for Vanessa's resurrection attempt. It might explain why Monty becomes so violently unhinged, being infected both by Glitchtrap and remnants of the hacked Bonnie AI, still trying to destroy him.
@@Whatlanderthat's actually a great theory but unfortunately alligators are capable of jumping 5 feet in the air in real life, so t's not actually out of the question that they'd add that in as a feature (possibly so he could do tricks during concerts?)
At first I wondered about the sapience of the animatronics but then figured maybe it had something to do with that AI Vanessa made as mentioned in the special recordings. And, as mentioned in-game, apparently the 'hack' that affected everyone else didn't fully work on Freddy and just temporarily shut him down. If Freddy was friendly with the other animatronics, it's reasonable to think that they are originally friendly too and the 'hack' did an override that made them corrupted. The Michael theory though does sound fairly reasonable and would fit and make sense. It's all very confusing though. Or maybe I'm just easily confused. Probably that too. All in all, this was impressive. The way you made everything connect made a lot of sense. Even in some ways I didn't even think.
The Afton Ending is actually the canon one, even if it isn't the best possible ending. The Superstar Ending, the one where Vanny is freed from Glitchtrap, is the best possible, but not the canon ending
I can’t shake off the feeling that Freddy’s performance in the intro was inspired by Freddie Mercury. The movements just fit so perfectly together. (It’s not meant negative, it would be quite amazing actually)
Freddy looked a lot like Freddy Kruger in the fourth game (with the trailer poster mainly emphasizing his claw hand.) So it wouldn't surprise me if there's a reference to Freddy Mercury as well since they're both named Freddy.

Thoughts: 1. The Amalgam has interfaced with the Pizzaplex Systems, hence the cables/sparks/general wear of the back areas of the facility. This could also be due to Fazbear Entertainment's general lack of care for their employees and facilities mind you. Potentially the reason we can interface with Vanny/Vanessa's Prison with the Arcade Machines is that they are creating a connection between. Vanessa could also have secretly done this herself but it would not explain the machines being self powered. 2. The amalgam wasn't after you, it was waiting instinctively for Afton to try and escape. 3. Freddy attacks you in only 2 places, when possessed and when connected to the Parts and Services System(Reused from Sister Location and just as corrupted). 4. Afton could instantly take over the other Animatronics after he was revived, but Freddy required effort. The others were simply reprogrammed and formed as remnant batteries. Fazbear came alive when underground so one or more souls have combined with him. Henry, Michael or Cassidy. Henry or Michael would be more likely, in memory of those they could not save or are responsible for. Cassidy is less likely but perhaps they took the advise and are trying to let go. 5. The hilltop is eerily like the Gravestone/Graveyard hill. 6. Perhaps what we are seeing is virtual given all the hidden items and a literal door that appears when you flash a camera at it. Could all be illusion discs mind you. The whole pizzaplex is virtual. Gregory & Freddy are both souls from the same body(Golden Freddy?) trying to stop Afton from escaping his hell. Gregory is always so callous and unfeeling, whereas Freddy is supporting and loving. Taking the parts from the others gives them more access to the virtual structure, and playing the games gives them access to destroy Glitchtrap inside Vanessa before he can escape. Just thoughts whilst watching/playing/after.
My guess on the souls that might’ve combined inside freddy is that of Henry, Michael, or Charlie. I mean I personally think it makes sense considering that Henry created the fredbear restaurant which eventually became freddy fazbears, Michael because he still wants to keep kids safe from the fazbear curse, and Charlie because she would have a vendetta against afton and know that she wouldn’t want more kids to end up like she did. Just a guess

The line "It is my design" when Freddy is talking about how his battery won't last outside make me think he's closer to Henry than Mike. Henry also died in the same place as Mike and Afton, and he also had a strong will to make sure Afton couldn't kill any more children.
I don't know why but I'm thinking that the amalgamation is actually Henry. Henry what have the most anger toward William for a bunch of reasons. Also Henry was a big part of Williams past.
Yes! My thoughts exactly! And he was the one that gathered all the animatronics together initially and set the fire to release them all. Makes much more sense than it being Michael. Freddy is a father figure in Security Breach. Michael was never a father. Makes more more sense for it to be Henry.

If Michael is indeed inside Freddy, that means this is Michael's redemption arc. Probably after he breaks free from Ennard and he realized that he was wrong, he sees Gregory as either himself as Crying Child or his little brother that he's responsible to kill in Fredbear's mouth back in FNAF 3. Freddy feels he needs to protect Greg because of how Michael doesn't want to have the same mistakes and he has a feeling that his father must be alive somewhere. And he discovered that his father has a new follower which is Vanny, probably the same way as Michael sees Greg as his surrogate brother or alternate version of past self, William sees Vannessa as his surrogate daughter, Elizabeth and since Baby / Elizabeth got burnt in Pizzeria Simulator, he found Vannessa as his new "Elizabeth" Michael who still feels resent to his father decided to end it for good and will protect Greg no matter what.
Break free from Ennard? Why would Micheal be apart of Ennard. Maybe I’m ignorant, but I thought he only hosted Ennard after sister location until his body rotted and Ennard went into the drains. Does he join Ennard somehow after pizza sim? If so why would he do that, as Baby is evil and corrupted by the funtime programming at this poin.
@@demonic_angel7108 Maybe because he died at the end of pizzeria simulator. The same restaurant that is under the pizza plex, and since William came back, maybe Michael did it too because he promised himself he will find him at the end of the custom night of SL. So, just like Afton came back in the form of glitchtrap, Michael could came back possessing an animatronic when the children in the restaurant started to disappear. About Ennard, I'm pretty sure the comment is talking about how he hosted it until he became a corpse, and then went to search and put an stop to his father deeds. But is just a theory, nice one but a theory nonetheless.
I personally like the Good Vanny ending the most as two people who were once lost have now found each other to stick together with. Also the three would make an odd ball of a family.
I kind of want an animated sitcom of the wacky adventures of the recovering brainwashed wannabe murderer, former street urchin, and talking robotic bear head. Imagine the hijinks.
My theory - as we all know glamrock freedy is a new version of freedy and c.c afton died from bite 83.. Which means c.c died in mouth of old freedy and Gregory looks same as c.c but older thats why glamrock freedy is trying to help Gregory .
I like the idea that it could be Michael, but given the lines, "His Friends" "I am not me", it's also very possible that Freddy possesses the soul of the Crying Child, instead. Which would mean the amalgamation of souls that drags William down could easily be Cassidy.
I personally think that Afton is still rotting in hell/purgatory and still hasn't managed to escape, the only reason why he's still "alive" is because his conscience was copied into glitchtrap. So basically glitchtrap is not william himself, it's a CLONE of william's consciousness.
That kinda makes sense but I'm still stuck on the fact that he could transfer his consciousness that easy. Like if the glitch version of him already possessed Vanny why would he even need to go back into his old animatronic self. Also why wouldn't he do it earlier if that's what he wanted. Why would he wait until a child wandered in for him to revert. He could have just possessed the suit and then left the ruins of the old pizzeria.
I don't think William Afton ever made it to Hell. The original plan was for all of the Animatronics to be destroyed in the fire so that their souls can be freed, but some of them survived by merging the souls and bodies caught in the fire into a single entity devoted to torturing William Afton. This is in direct opposition to the old man's wishes that they all be destroyed so that their souls may move on, but some of them were unable to move on. One of them possessed a rage so strong that they manipulated the others into keeping them alive to continue torturing William Afton. Some shared that rage, while others simply followed. They all formed a vengeful collection of minds in a single body that continued hunting William Afton.
@@twinodoom i think that the souls moved on, but the remnant is what keeps the molten blob moving on, all the bad feelings and dread against william afton are united in a big blob, that seeks revenge blindly like an animal
Freddy saying “it’s my design” when talking about being unable to leave makes me think he was a person who made it so animatronics couldn’t do a lot of damage. I’m not sure though if he had the idea as a human and then died or if as a trapped soul he did it.
I've really grown to love Security Breach, but I hope I'm not alone when I think that the endings are very ridiculous and unpolished. They made a solid game (excluding all the bugs), but it's almost like they didn't have the time or resources to wrap it up properly. And to me, that's very disappointing. There should have been a lot more effort made into the conclusion of the game.
The story does actually make sense, but you have to dig a bit deeper to discover why stuff is happening, and it has been discovered thanks to hackers that the game has a crap ton of cut content and voice-lines. The story would've been better explained if they didn't cut so much content because of the deadline for the release of the game.
@@VivianaSilverback they’re not saying the story doesn’t make sense, they’re saying the endings could’ve been better polished up and maybe actually animated. The whole storyline and everything was great disregarding the bugs (as the person said) but it feels like they kinda gave up at the end there with how they wrapped it all up.
@Kell 0 While I agree in the sentiment of the endings being a bit rough around the edges, I'm not so sure it was because a lack of effort was the cause. Rather, I am of the mindset that TOO much effort was the culprit. Most people are at least moderately aware that the series creator has consistently proven to have a habit of leaving certain aspects of each installment to be of a cryptic nature. This would allow the fans to have enough room to speculate on how certain pieces of the puzzle may go together, that it would end up leaving them wanting more each time. But with regard to Security Breach, I would infer that the creators plans to conclude its events in a manner that promoted anticipation for the next installment ended up simply proving more excessive than intended. This ended up meaning that the clues and hints in Security Breach as to how the canon may proceed, as well as provide answers to preexisting questions, instead ended up being unintentionally deprived of their cohesion to the games own narrative. Hopefully they've realized this and will take care to avoid doing so again in future installations that may be published.
That's the biggest part of games today is that they feel unpolished and on release have too many bugs. I get deadlines but if you release a great game but it's plagued with bugs nobody's gonna buy it.
I mean, it is kinda difficult to make an ending to the story that nobody actually understands fully. You know, FNAF had operated under this principle for like 5 games now.

In some gameplay you can see Chica crying like a little girl lost multiples times.*
It's interesting that Fnaf 8 may not have a single living person in it. Vanny/Venessa might be Baby,
Greggory is Evan/CC/Crying child.
That, imo,is what ruins it for me
All sense of "believability" ended when they gave them personalities
The part when Gregory says "why" and freddy says "i dont know" when helping him makes so much more sense now, because Gregory looks exactly like Michaels brother who he accidentally killed, and now deep down inside as freddy he wants to help and or make up for what he did to his brother and do good for once since he basically started the ENTIRE fnaf franchise because his dad wanted to bring ppl back from the dead seeing his son die 🤯

Its also ironic, how a bear and a child started all of this, and a bear and a child ended it all, and Michael ends up being a robot when his actions made other people into robots, ironic

For those of you who seem lost on Gregory's backstory the one star ending suggests he is homeless and orphaned. It would explain his resourcefulness and why Vanny had targeted him in the first place.
@adamaris I disagree tbh, yes the game was rushed so it’s super buggy but I don’t think they rushed the content itself
Bite 83
I think it's Henry in Freddy as well. I think Michael is in Gregory. I don't think Gregory is a real human and is possibly a robot replica. I don't know if he knows what he is or not, but he acts strange and why would his vision glitch out whenever Vanny got close? Gregory may or may not be Michael, but I'm pretty sure he's a robot.
@@1untamedbrain I do like the idea of Gregory being a replica of some kind, but the glitchy vision doesn't prove anything since illusions and hallucinations seen by humans is an established thing in this story.
@@1untamedbrain He's not a robot, he is just a kid lol
"is that the bite of 87"
The Michael-ghost theory is an interesting one!
(Though to be fair, a competitive robot that also has to defer to children was likely going to snap eventually.)
-Monty's lines indicate he was probably not the brightest (You can hide, but you can't hide!), while also having a "bad boy" attitude, making him easier to corrupt and prone to going full villain mode.
William Afton always comes back, and if the happier ending is the true ending, I wonder how would he return next time, as nothing will contain him.
@@BergmitetheBlueandPointy0712at this point nothing can stop afton what is left to ?
Its not typically afton its basically a digital version of himself or you could say a piece of his soul in the digital world as a virus yet to be captured/prisonment in the fires of hell like the original william afton we see in UCN
Bruh we couls even see this in fnaf 3 minigames such as shadow bunny glitching out so its fair to say its william afton spreading some virus stuff since he is somehow possesed in a springlock suit half alive or half possesed but thats my theory alone
So yeah the corpse is just dead but the digital afton wont accept that and tries to comeback again and ofc
The so called blob comes back from hell to finally put all of william related things sealed in his hell pretty why you see many animatronics its kinda obvious why it is mix with so many animatronics in the old games cause somethings not yet redeem cause a portion of william is still in the real world maybe that is why they havent got to heaven yet
But overall yes your point still stands
@@BergmitetheBlueandPointy0712 Well, according to the true ending, Vanessa gets freed from Glitchtrap's control. So there's no one left to resurrect William. This means that he will rot in his tomb forever or until the souls of his victims eventually find him.

Yeah, Freddy isn’t the only one that acts human in a way. So does Roxy, she is depressed after all. Plus freddy was booted in safe mode. Which could explain why he was unaffected
Plus it allows the other Animatronics to be redeemed as well, much like Vanessa.
Like how it's the same four hunting him, yet despite being such a giant place they are always in his vicinity?

I think this makes alot more since bc henry started the fire from fnaf 6 in the first place which is why he said it was time to end this
Oooohhhhh that's a great idea as well!
absoultely right
Wronggggg Henry died in Knife
He kill him self After his little girl died
Another detail that may support the Freddy is Michael theory is how after Freddy breaks down and can no longer talk to you, when Gregory enters the security room he finds an "Old Security Badge" and Gregory comments on "What is this?" Suddenly, right after saying that Freddy can contact Gregory again out of nowhere and describing it as "a new wind" went through him, and suddenly able to help him again for a while longer.
I feel like everytime he says that a security guard from every location (dead or alive) give Freddy the power to protect a child so the same mistake that William made won't happen again.
Dude mike is mikebot 50% we don’t really know if he possessed it or even if he is a robot
Michael's soul sees the badge which reminds him of the (good) old days where he was trying to stop his father, and the emotions from that was enough to repower Freddy?
“William may always come back but he rarely manages to stay for long” Best thing ever! Roasting the entire I always come back
I'm still kinda curious about sundrop's backstory: we don't know how he got there or who made him or why he seems to be less hostile than most of the other animatronics.
That’s a good point!
Theres a mail entry somewhere that says someone programmed him to do the most menial tasks because the past daycare person was a lazy bum (hence why he’s focused on “cleaning up” and playing with children)
He's made to take care of little kids
i think it's just Sun. The Sundrop and Moondrop posters were for candy. like a gumdrop but branded.
I remember read somewhere or it was told that he a different kind of model then the other and is mabey probely why he the only machine with a free/close will?? Like the marionette who was a different enemy then the other with there own reason. But that what I think
I think the scariest part of playing security breach for me was Freddy. I know that sounds weird, but I was expecting him to turn evil whenever I saw him, so I was always preemptively freaked whenever I saw him
I'm actually very surprised he didn't pull a Circus Baby on us and kill us at the end lol
@@drawingdragon Maybe that's why its so effective. you expect it because it's happened before. not to mention the full tilt RUN he pulls every time you summon him. If he dosent kill you intentionally he might accidentally run you over XD

@@drawingdragon I’m very happy about it
The whole vanessa vanny thing could’ve been better handled in the game.
I would have liked to see more of Vanessa and Vanny too.
yeah, its really weird how she was so present in the trailers yet barely appears in the game except for the endings
@@occultcenturion1131 I heard that too, yeah. One more reason I wish they'd gotten a little more time to really finish the game they set out to make.
she feels forgettable, putting a important character like that and make them disappears for the rest of the game without explanation is like an insult.
"William may always come back, but he rarely manages to stay for very long." That line was perfection. lol
For facts tho that Vanny is haunted by glitch trap
Btw in the afton ending the pile there are heads of the fnaf 1 and 2 animatronics
@@mexxstorm5831 charlies voice is too chilish and soft but freddy voice is like a full grown man who has a metalic/robotic voice

Your comment made me happy.
Bruh mans is homeless he lives in a box
One thing tho, I think he’s imprisoned/grown in the pizzaplex or somewhere where they keep children, that’s why there’s no record, and that’s why he’s able to sneak in somehow, cuzz he’s been there for a long time (well certain parts of the pizzaplex at the least)

Michael finding peace after finally saving someone from his father is so poetic I hope its the actual canon and not a fan theory, its amazing and makes perfect sense
Agreed
I also hope that the ending where Vanessa is also saved is canon as well.
They must have been close but something or someone (Vanny) happened
Little theory, this isn’t the og springlock suit, and we hear that bonnie “died”, what if vanessa killed Bonnie, to make a body for afton, because we know that he was in a computer before, and not in a body.
Combining all these theories together, vanny hacked monty to quickly destroy Bonnie and used the pieces to make williams suit
@@Devilspade That makes sense not gonna lie
The fact that Gregory is an orphan hurts when there’s a chance that he’ll lose Freddy at some point, since Fazzy acts as a somewhat father figure to him throughout the game. I wonder if Gregory’s parents were also kidnapped for Afton’s purposes.
Edit: I realized that he *could* have been on record if the parents were kidnapped unless there were records of them erased on purpose.

Gregory is tragic. I wonder if there are more kids like him
Don’t forget that Roxy is the only other animatronic that appears to have a genuine personality (praising herself in the 3rd person, crying for no reason, even getting agitated when Freddy is in her room)

In which the community is happy for
Well, no. In the True Ending, Afton burns and stops (for now?) so that means his control over Vanessa is gone, so they are both stopped.
I would agree, if the Good Vanny ending wasn't the three star ending, and that in past FnaF games 3 stars was the mark of getting the final ending of the game.
DUDE. THOSE WERE MY EXACT THOUGHTS.
doesnt the afton ending also free vanny? since afton isnt in control anymore
What I'm confused about is how advanced the AI are, I mean, they express human feelings and all have somewhat emotions (I'm talking about the four main animatronics + sun/moondrop since he sounds very human)
It just feels like there is so much more to them
I think it’s a combination of the technology they have within them and the somewhat “possessed” or haunted state they are in from the victims of FNAF. Compared to the first game, the animatronics are much more sophisticated due to budgets increasing and times changing. Also, the fact that C.C and other victims are “haunting” the machines (in their programming due to reused parts) really makes them seem soul like/ alive.
If only the ai was as good in the actual game
my theory is those glamrock animatronics are powered by remant. one of the William afton's experiment. in case you didn't know, remnant are an energy that William afton tried to make from FNAF 3 before he was discovered by the Fazbear's fright employee. when you complete a night from FNAF 3 there's a minigame that show William afton disassemble old haunted animatronics. later on he "Melts" those animatronics to make remnant.
thats the thing, they arent advanced, they seems to have such advanced emmotions that of a human BECAUSE, they are, they are possessed by hte souls of murdered children, not sure who, but im sure freddy is actually possessed by Micheal Aftons soul.
@@midnight40007 yeah I saw the theory about that
Fun fact: the animatronics cant harm guests, but as Freddy Fazbear said, Gregory did not has a guess profile.
True

SO MANY WORDS
the Afton ending is given a confusing bit of attention by the game itself considering yes all its cinematics during and after the battle but its also the only ending that has freddy and Gregory sitting on the hill not in comic book style
@@blacklistedpirate4169 That too!
Not too much of a sore thumb. So many fnaf games have had endings involving playing arcade games.

It may not be the canon ending, but the princess quest vanny ending is actually the only three star one.
@@DramaLlamaTheatrics honestly imo the stars jus tell you how hard it is to get 🤷
@@MyLoserBrain i would argue its easier to get considering it doesn't have to deal with the "can't save anymore" stuff. the Springtrap ending means you have to go through a bunch of shit to either get Monty's claws or Chica's voice box after the saving feature is taken away. with the good vanny ending you just have to play 3 arcade games. not to mention those games come a zero cost to you as dieing the games doesn't kill you outside of them
@@NAPainter but its not because you have to beat 3 mini arcade games to get the princess quest vanny ending.
@@ozzy3133 Ooh, I love that.
@@ravenfrancis1476 you're welcome
The pacifist route could be you trying to undo everything that glitchtrap has done, but much earlier in the game instead of dealing with that in the end.

When you look at Gregory's outfit, he resembles the younger brother that Michael tormented and accidentally killed. It makes sense if Freddy could be Michael, as he now knew that his accident led to the death of his younger brother and soon caused problems afterwards, and when he see Gregory, he would make sure to help the child rather than bully them.
I hope this comment gets more likes, u deserve it! ;)
Something to add onto the Michael theory:
When someone possesses an animatronic, they would only gain so much control over the robot.
So basically Glamrock Freddy programming and Michael's soul are just a combination.
@@abysmalbeat1268 the puppet being the only one aware is probably because of the intention on wich it was created. henry created the puppet SPECIFICALLY to protect her daughter and that probably had influence

Knowing now that Gregory was an orphan, but saves Vanessa and is low key adopted by her makes that truly the most heartwarming and best ending in my opinion.
yea this pieced it all together after just watching the raw footage basically
If you consider Freddy as being Michael, you could think he is literally reminded of Crying child by Gregory, because they have kinda similar appearances.
probably Michael learned really hard from the thing he did in fnaf 4
@@user-gc6tg5qx9h what did he do in fnaf 4?
It was highly theoried that he killed his brother, the one in the foxy mask was him
Sundrop is an interesting character in the light of this theory.
At that point, i'm pretty sure he eventually died somewhere in the underground tunnels, either got killed by an angry security bot or something.
damn.. poor Leo..
@@roxanne_ I would just assume Afton possessed him or haunted him, as he did write in binary suggesting something?
@@roxanne_ i agree with you but not all of it. First of all, the younger brother/crying child/evan got bit in 1983, not 87, 87 was a seperate incident with a nightguard at the fnaf 2 location. Knowing that Vanny is Vanessa in a costume makes the “disassemble Vanny” scene much more horrific, if we are to glean anything from how Freddy reacted to being disassembled
Edit: whether or not Vanny is Vanessa or a twin or whatever I think we can all agree being torn apart by robots with power tools is a terrible way to go

It's stated she has an experimental personality chip that went wrong
I saw something twt aboyt roxy being so technologically advanced in ai that she basically became too aware i guess idk
@@joshgroban5291 whoa where did we learn that?
This could be a reason why the animatronics don’t see Vanny until later on, Vanny may have something similar
could be a headset like that that also contains a voice changer and possibly an illusion disk causing gregory's vision to get blurry

I don’t think Gregory is homeless, I think he’s a runaway. Remember the weird “midnight motorist” game from FNAF 6? Remember how one of the orange guys kids runs off to “that place,” and that “he’ll

Thats stupid because that entire cutscene was William afton and the crying child this has already been proven.
We do see Vanessa with Gregory and Freddy in the princess quest ending
Gregory also acts alarmed that glitch trap was Vanessa in the first place
I’m suspecting Gregory might be a robot. His vision reacted to vanny’s glitching just as Freddy’s did. It’s really suspicious
honestly I wouldn't be surprised if his parents were Michael Afton and Vanessa... maybe some point after before Gregory is born...
@@Junuman1 that could just be a gameplay mechanic
Chica actually said that line.
@@emopikachu eh Vanessa, Michael, and Gregory would be very old if they are family
If Freddy is possessed then Roxy must be as well, her and Freddy are both well above the other animatronics when it comes to cognitive abilities
Edit: Also,I don't think it's a ghost in the fire ending, she doesn't look ghostly enough.

Going off of the idea that the good Vanny ending is the games "true ending", then that also means that the mall, and therefore glitchtrap, still exist. This could mean that, like William always says, he will come back.

YO this makes so much sense like monty is chilling and then all of a sudden Bonny attacks him out of no where due to a failed hacking
Game theory made a new theory about it
@@Whatlanderthat's actually a great theory but unfortunately alligators are capable of jumping 5 feet in the air in real life, so t's not actually out of the question that they'd add that in as a feature (possibly so he could do tricks during concerts?)

Thoughts:
Freddy also attacks if you stay inside him when his batteries run out later on
The amalgam does attack you. When you're hopping down and get near it without being inside Freddy, it attacks and kills you.

And he discovered that his father has a new follower which is Vanny, probably the same way as Michael sees Greg as his surrogate brother or alternate version of past self, William sees Vannessa as his surrogate daughter, Elizabeth and since Baby / Elizabeth got burnt in Pizzeria Simulator, he found Vannessa as his new "Elizabeth"
Michael who still feels resent to his father decided to end it for good and will protect Greg no matter what.
isn’t crying child michael’s younger brother?
Break free from Ennard? Why would Micheal be apart of Ennard. Maybe I’m ignorant, but I thought he only hosted Ennard after sister location until his body rotted and Ennard went into the drains. Great theory!
I had similar thoughts myself
Wasn't there already evidence it was Cassidy
Could he be referring to Roxy Monty and chika in that line though. Lost angry and confused?
I agree with this

Part 2 security breach pls. Mike’s explanations are wonderful.
I've really grown to love Security Breach, but I hope I'm not alone when I think that the endings are very ridiculous and unpolished. They made a solid game (excluding all the bugs), but it's almost
like they didn't have the time or resources to wrap it up properly.
@Kell 0
While I agree in the sentiment of the endings being a bit rough around the edges, I'm not so sure it was because a lack of effort was the cause.
